The inaugural PokerBaazi Classics is just two days away from the finish line. The ₹30 Lakhs GTD PBC#10 Weekly HighRoller was the featured PBC event running last night, and the turnout didn’t disappoint. The ₹11,000 buy-in event logged in a guarantee-smashing 414-entry field, and the top 52 places got a share of the ₹41.40 Lakhs prize pool (38% more than its listed guarantee). Thursday’s Godfather champion Vinayak ‘salmanbhai’ Bajaj came out on top to collect his second successive title on back-to-back days, winning ₹6.28 Lakhs. The 28-year-old IIT Kharagpur alumni chopped the title three-way with Arun ‘Yoda’ Poply (2nd for ₹6.01 Lakhs) and ‘classic78’ (3rd for ₹5.62 Lakhs).

He picked up another ₹20,221 from his 20th place finish in Adda52’s The Ballers yesterday, collectively banking ₹6.48 Lakhs. The ₹2 Crores GTD PBC#11 Game Changer completed Day 1C yesterday. The ₹5,500 buy-in event reigned in a 928-entry field (661 unique and 267 re-entries), and only 93 among them advanced to Day 2. The PBC Game Changer has recorded a total of 2,290 entries across three starting flights (Day 1A – 652, Day 1B – 710, and Day 1C – 928) and needs to click in at least 1,710 entries in the last flight scheduled today to avoid an overlay.
The traffic from the PokerBaazi Classics percolated to the other Friday marquees as well, and one of the benefactors was the ₹4 Lakhs GTD Sprint 6-Max. The ₹2,200 buy-in event ended up collecting a ₹7.08 Lakhs prize pool on the back of 354 registrations (over 75% more than its advertised guarantee). The FTS 2.0 Main Event champion Young Gun Siddharth ‘schemer’ Karia was the last player standing and won his first title of the year for ₹1.12 Lakhs. The final 38 players won a share of the prize money, with Anant ‘pro_baba’ Purohit going the distance and winning the title for ₹6.32 Lakhs. The #1 ranked MTT player in the country for the last two years running, Young Gun Gaurav ‘gauravarod’ Sood, finished runner-up for ₹3.83 Lakhs.
