Daily Majors: Vaibhav Sharma, Aditya Singh, Anurag Srivastava & Clinton Tavares Fly Through the Friday Flagships

The action across the Friday flagships was polarized, given the absence of a sizable lot of regs busy attending the 2023 WPT Prime Vietnam and PokerBaazi’s The Weekly HighRoller getting canceled. However, the relatively softer fields made for a scoring frenzy among the regs who stayed back.

Online sensation Vaibhav Sharma stole the show on Friday, triumphantly capturing the top spot in Adda52’s The Ballers for the second time, netting a hefty ₹4.41 Lakhs. Sharma amassed a total of ₹6.25 Lakhs from five cashes, which included two additional final table finishes.

Aditya Singh also made his mark on Friday, maintaining his May hot streak by winning Spartan Poker’s The Elite (6-Max) (IOPC Bubble), pocketing ₹4.25 Lakhs. His consistent performance allowed him to accumulate ₹4.91 Lakhs across two known final table finishes. ‘Memekings’, demonstrating that his Tuesday High Roller third place finish was not a one-off event, secured a heads-up deal for second place and ₹3.81 Lakhs.

The anonymous player, ‘Whoarewe’, made a remarkable appearance in PokerBaazi’s Friday flagship, the ₹50 Lakhs GTD WTF, and took home the day’s largest single score of ₹6.60 Lakhs. Meanwhile, ‘Torsin’ outdid their previous best score by over threefold, netting ₹4.05 Lakhs for a runner-up finish and offsetting all previous losses!

The lastest Tuesday High Roller champion, Anurag Srivastava, demonstrated his enduring prowess by securing not one but two titles on Friday! The highlight of his performance was his victories in PokerBaazi’s Daily Value Boost (for ₹1.43 Lakhs) and (7-Max) Daily SPRINT (for ₹82,000), amassing ₹2.38 Lakhs across three deep runs.

Wednesday’s Bounty Madness champion Clinton Tavares accomplished three substantial scores totaling over ₹2.23 Lakhs. His notable performances include PokerStars India’s The Big Bash [8-Max, PKO] (2nd for ₹1.17 Lakhs) and Adda52’s Friday Bounty (1st place for ₹1.03 Lakhs).

Following a ten-week title drought, Utkarsh Vaish made a compelling comeback with a resounding victory in Spartan Poker’s Futuristic – Triple Chance, claiming a top prize of ₹1.69 Lakhs (won ₹2.17 Lakhs overall), while Manish Jangid secured a runner-up payout of ₹1.14 Lakhs.

PokerStars India loyalist ‘thisisme16’ led the pack in the site’s Friday main event, The Big Bash [8-Max, PKO], claiming the top prize of ₹2.25 Lakhs (₹1.24 Lakhs in bounties).

Daily Majors: Advait Rajguru, Ashutosh Balodhi, Aarchit Dhadwal & Neel Joshi Headline the Tuesday Flagships

After a fortnight of packed action, the remainder of this week will bring some much-needed downtime for the MTT regs, many of whom have taken the opportunity to fly down South to participate in the 2023 WPT Prime Cambodia.

The Tuesday action, although a significant improvement over Monday, was relatively lackluster. However, the micro-stakes players had exciting tournaments to participate in IndiaPlays’ Micro Poker League. And with PokerDangal’s Dangal Micro Value Series starting tomorrow, there will be more value for players at the micro-stakes level.

Advait Rajguru was hands down the Tuesday chartbuster with at least ₹5.35 Lakhs in total winnings from four known scores. Four days after shipping PokerStars India’s MM-28 [KO Low Roller], Rajguru made another victory run in Spartan Poker’s Tuesday High Roller (6-Max), banking ₹4.68 Lakhs – the day’s single-largest score and his fifth title this year. He also FT-ed PokerBaazi’s (7-Max) Daily Sprint (3rd for ₹45,604).

Dhruva Kalra (2nd for ₹3.16 Lakhs) and last night’s Mega Stack winner Ashutosh Balodhi (3rd for ₹2.06 Lakhs) round out the Tuesday HR podium.

He won Spartan Poker’s Mega Stack (₹3.21 Lakhs) for the second time last night and finished third in the Tuesday High Roller (₹2.06 Lakhs).

Monday’s Night Rider winner, Arunav Mittal, placed runner-up in Mega Stack for ₹2.13 Lakhs (won ₹2.33 Lakhs overall).

PokerBaazi user ‘NAdi89Ya’ scored their first win on the site in nearly five weeks by taking down The Endeavour for a personal-best ₹4.10 Lakhs (won ₹4.21 Lakhs overall). Last month’s The Pride champion, Bharat Suda, scored ₹2.45 Lakhs in second place.

The former Iron Man champion Aarchit Dhadwal nailed Adda52’s The Mint for a site-best ₹3.71 Lakhs. Kashish Gupta finished runner-up for ₹2.24 Lakhs.

Young Gun Neel Joshi took down PokerStars India’s Bounty Builder HR for ₹2.06 Lakhs (won ₹2.24 Lakhs overall), ending a two-month title drought.
