Saying that yesterday was a blockbuster Sunday would be an understatement. With almost ₹10 Crores in prize money guaranteed across just the flagship tournaments, it was no surprise that several top regs scored BIG. While Spartan Poker’s IOPC 14.0 completed its first Sunday run, PokerBaazi Classics wrapped up proceedings, and both stops had a ₹2 Crores GTD flagship on offer.
The musician and poker pro Dhaval Mudgal towered over everyone else on the Sunday charts! The veteran pro championed Spartan Poker’s ₹2 Crores GTD IOPC #31 Blaze for a monstrous ₹34.46 Lakhs payday (won ₹35.28 Lakhs overall), bagging his maiden IOPC title and his very first IOPC gold badge.
Sandy Lamba might have missed out on taking down IOPC #31 Blaze but banked an equally commendable ₹21.18 Lakhs in second place. He made deep runs in PokerBaazi’s PBC#21 BSS SuperStack (7th for ₹1.21 Lakhs) and PokerStars India’s Sunday Special (15th for ₹11,174), rounding up a Sunday haul worth ₹22.50 Lakhs.
PokerBaazi’s PBC#23 Game Changer was the other ₹2 Crore GTD Sunday headliner playing down to a close last night. Seasoned pro Anant Purohit charged through the 3,789-player field to collect a site-best ₹25.70 Lakhs, becoming the seventh player to win the prestigious title. Purohit posted over ₹26.12 Lakhs in Sunday earnings, entering the “₹10 Crore Club” and hitting ₹4 Crores in online profits.
Gunisha Sinha, the wife of two-time POY Young Gun Gaurav Sood, almost became the first woman to win the Game Changer title. Nevertheless, she settled for a career-best ₹17.10 Lakhs in second place.
The unstoppable Aniket Waghmare boosted his IOPC titles tally to 7 after taking down his second IOPC flagship in the ongoing series, IOPC #29 Sunday High, for a mouth-watering ₹17.31 Lakhs, climbing to the #1 position in the POY race. WSOP bracelet winner Abhinav Iyer finished runner-up for ₹11.70 Lakhs.
Rishabh Gupta won his maiden IOPC title in Spartan Poker’s IOPC #28 Sunday Prime, locking in a career-best ₹12.17 Lakhs and the IOPC silver badge. He fired up another three deep runs, accumulating a personal-best ₹13.39 Lakhs in Sunday winnings.

The first of five IOPC High Rollers, Spartan Poker’s ₹1 Crore GTD IOPC #14 High Roller, crowned a champion in IOPC crusher Aniket Waghmare! The first-ever IOPC MasterMind bagged away his sixth IOPC title, his third-best payout of ₹20.23 Lakhs, and the first of the six IOPC gold badges on offer in the series! He fired up another deep run in IOPC #13 Friday Prime (15th for ₹73,326), adding ₹20.96 Lakhs in Friday earnings.
Not to be outdone, December’s Legend Poker Series Main Event champion, Dhinesh Kumar, gave Waghmare a run for his money but eventually settled for a runner-up payday worth ₹20.07 Lakhs, courtesy of a heads-up deal. Kumar pocketed ₹20.57 Lakhs in Friday winnings.

Following intense tournament action on Day 2 of the IOPC that crowned eight winners, Young Gun Anuj Yadav (2,686 points) climbed two rungs to take up the top spot in the ₹1.50 Crores GTD IOPC leaderboard rankings. Yadav most notably finished seventh in Spartan Poker’s IOPC #15 Friday Spotlight – Triple Chance for ₹55,701.

Grabbing the top billing on Sunday night (or the wee hours of Monday morning) was Deepankur Gupta. The former The Millionaire champion raced past the 149-entry field in Adda52’s brand-new Sunday headliner, Top Liners, taking home a personal-best ₹18.46 Lakhs (his fifth seven-figure score), which was also the day’s single-biggest score. Gupta fired up another four deep runs, including finishing runner-up in PokerBaazi’s BSS MonsterStack (₹1.08 Lakhs), netting a jaw-dropping ₹20 Lakhs overall!
Ashutosh Balodhi missed out on claiming the Top Liners title but banked an equally impressive ₹14.54 Lakhs as the runner-up (won ₹14.97 Lakhs overall).
