As is the usual trend, the MTT action continues to gather steam as we approach the weekend. Thursday laid out a firecracker lineup of tournaments, with PokerStars India’s INCOOP delivering a packed schedule of marquee tournaments.

Young Gun Sahil Chutani championed the biggest guaranteed event of the day, PokerStars India’s INCOOP-95 Highroller KO Championship for ₹9.65 Lakhs.

Kunal Patni finished runner-up for ₹4.97 Lakhs.

PokerStars India’s “Star of the Month” – December Siddharth Gangwar converted a ₹1,100 satellite entry into a career-best ₹7.62 Lakhs payday in Spartan Poker’s The Big Deal. He chopped the title heads-up with Rahul Lal (2nd for ₹6.45 Lakhs).

Last month’s WPT India High Roller champion, PokerGuru Ambassador Vishal Bajaj, shipped Adda52’s Godfather for ₹6.20 Lakhs, climbing to #8 in the annual leaderboard rankings.

Haider Madraswala chopped PokerBaazi’s The Summit with Young Gun Siddharth Karia (2nd for ₹3.09 Lakhs) for a ₹3.20 Lakhs bankroll boost.

The former Sunday Superstack winner ‘TejuHel’ was the last player standing in Spartan Poker’s Trending Thursday and won ₹4.23 Lakhs. The Destiny 20.0 SNG champion M Balakrishnan came second for ₹2.85 Lakhs.

Wednesday’s Maverick champion Shashank Shekhar came up trumps in Adda52’s Monster Turbo to win ₹1.47 Lakhs and his second title victory on the site on consecutive days.

Armaan Kochhar raced past the competition in PokerStars India’s INCOOP-97 Uppercut Mini to collect ₹1.18 Lakhs.

Vivek Rosario, Avish Sharma, Sumeet Rajpurohit, Pawan Tez & Aabhas Bandlish were the other standout winners.

Spartan Poker’s ₹30 Lakhs GTD The Big Deal made a smashing return last night, as a turnout of 163 participants helped collect a profitable ₹32.60 Lakhs prize pool. Siddharth ‘cooking_nuts’ Gangwar championed the ₹22,000 entry buy-in Thursday high roller to collect a career-best ₹7.62 Lakhs after striking a heads-up deal with Rahul ‘Vasili Arkhipov’ Lal (2nd for ₹6.45 Lakhs).

Siddharth Gangwar had won his entry into the event through a ₹1,100 satellite and ended up boosting his lifetime earnings to ₹1.39 Crores (₹49.99 Lakhs in net profits).

The runner-up finisher Rahul Lal had also satellited the event. He ITM-ed four events yesterday, earning a cumulative ₹6.97 Lakhs.

Ashish ‘Ataraxia’ Kaushik finished runner-up for ₹74,119. The user ‘GoldFisher’ now has ₹2.95 Lakhs in recorded winnings on Spartan Poker and ₹1.46 Lakhs in corresponding profits.

The ₹25 Lakhs GTD UVS Everest ran Day 1D yesterday, and 34 players from a starting field of 371 participants survived the day’s play. ‘Supr-nexx’ (214,996), Mohit ‘FloatingMonkey’ Bohra (200,793), and ‘NikolaTesla369’ (168,751) topped the day-end chip counts. The ₹550 buy-in event has logged in a total of 1,323 entries across four starting flights (Day 1A – 317, Day 1B – 330, Day 1C – 305, Day 1D – 371) with five flights to go before Day 2 on Sunday.

Vishal Bajaj has been one of the most consistent MTT winners in the last six months. He had entered the month with a victory run in Spartan Poker’s Mega Stack – Millionaire Bubble – his second consecutive week winning the tournament. There was no let-up for the 25-year-old engineer-turned poker player who championed The Pride on September 2 for ₹2.25 Lakhs, following that with a runner-up finish in The Elite worth ₹4.73 Lakhs on September 3. Last Thursday, he FT-ed two events, and this Tuesday, he took down the INCOOP-74 Bounty Builder HR for ₹3.33 Lakhs.

Even though Mondays are usually the slowest day of the week on the online poker calendar, yesterday was quite different. With Spartan Poker’s Final Table Series (FTS) 2.0 and PokerStars India’s MircoMillions picking up steam and the Adda52 Tournament of Champions (ATOC) wrapping up proceedings, there was a lot of electrifying action on offer.

Young Gun Gaurav Sood turned out to be the day’s biggest winners as he clinched the first featured event title at FTS 2.0, the ₹75 Lakhs GTD FTS#2 Kick-Off, for an impressive ₹14.39 Lakhs. Neha Saini came close to becoming the first women poker player to claim an FTS title but had to settle for a runner-up finish worth ₹9.03 Lakhs.

Young Guns took the FTS by storm last night, with Sanat Mehrotra championing the ₹10 Lakhs GTD FTS#6 for ₹2.12 Lakhs.

The featured tourney on Day 2 of the FTS 2.0, the ₹25 Lakhs GTD FTS#5 Double Stack, played down to its eight-handed final table with ‘borntrouble’ (anonymity requested) (6,577,858) bagging the end-of-the-day chip lead. The FT commences at 6 PM today and will be live-streamed across multiple platforms, including the PokerGuru Facebook page.

Coming to the other flagship winners, Siddharth Pandey shipped Adda52’s ₹8 Lakhs GTD Iron Man for ₹1.98 Lakhs, with Kunal Patni taking down PokerBaazi’s ₹7.5 Lakhs GTD The Big Show for ₹1.65 Lakhs. Patni also made the FT in the ₹25 Lakhs GTD FTS#5 Double Stack.

The closing event at Adda52’s ATOC series, the ₹10 Lakhs GTD ATOC Women’s Day Special, was hosted in celebration of ‘Women’s Day.’ Saumiya, aka ‘Letsgetthemoolah’ bested the 30-entry field in the invitation event to win ₹2.50 Lakhs. Dishani Vijay booked the runner-up spot for ₹1.50 Lakhs.

Proving her mettle on ‘Women’s Day’ was another female poker player Anamika Singh, who grabbed the limelight by shipping the ₹5 Lakhs GTD FTS#4 on Spartan Poker for ₹89,662, after striking a three-way deal with Naveen Sharma (runner-up for ₹84,199) and Nishant Kumar (3rd for ₹82,263).

The first featured event of the FTS 2.0, the ₹75 Lakhs GTD FTS#2 Kick-Off, saw Young Gun Gaurav ‘mozzie17’ Sood walking away with the champions medallion. The 2020 leaderboard topper had entered the final table with the fourth-largest stack out of eight contenders. He steadily made his way to the top and eventually bested Neha ‘Nkush’ Saini in the heads-up finale to claim a hefty ₹14.39 Lakhs. Saini walked away with ₹9.03 Lakhs for her second-place finish.

Day 2 of the FTS series hosted three more events. Offering the most-massive guarantee of them all was the ₹25 Lakhs GTD FTS#5 Double Stack. The ₹4,400 entry-buy-in tourney logged in 658 contenders, leading to a prize pool collection of ₹27.40 Lakhs. It played down to the eight-handed final table, with PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit ‘Shippament’ Wadhawan falling out in ninth place for ₹47,950.

‘borntrouble’ (anonymity requested) grabbed the overnight chip lead with a stack of 6,577,858. Manoj ‘Solder9’ Kumar (5,127,940) and the Big Show champion Kunal ‘NutsTodayBluffTomo’ Patni (4,031,428) claimed the next top stacks.

Yudhishter ‘McFly’ Jaswal (3,951,937), Prashant ‘prashant17’ Pandagre (3,154,636), Sanish ‘Sanish21’ Chhabra (2,488,168), Ankit ‘ON_MY_MAC’ Omprakash Bajaj (1,081,091) and Shivam ‘iaafpg’ Khandelwal (986,942) are the other finalists who will be returning at 6 PM today for a shot at the champion’s medallion. Our latest Young Gun Sanat ‘mehro2511’ Mehrotra decimated the competition to claim his first-ever FTS title, adding ₹2.12 Lakhs to his bankroll. The score fetched him his first Super Achiever badge as he breached the ₹5 Crore-mark (₹5.02 Crores) in online earnings. Kuttappan ‘Dr House’ Assina locked in the runner-up payday of ₹1.33 Lakhs.

The day’s headliner, the ₹2.5 Lakhs GTD MicroMillions – 9, pulled in 181 entrants, generating a ₹2.71 Lakhs prize pool. Jitendra ‘zxcvuiop’ Chordia may have missed out on shipping the BigStack Turbo, but he more than made up for it by winning the MicroMillions – 9 for ₹53,970. The first-ever Adda52 Tournament of Champions (ATOC) series finally concluded last night. The final event of the series, the ₹10 Lakhs GTD ATOC Women’s Day Special, found its champion in Saumiya, aka ‘Letsgetthemoolah’ who netted a ₹2.50 Lakhs payday. Dishani ‘DishVish22’ Vijay came in second for ₹1.50 Lakhs.

Natasha ‘niktiks’ Khandera (4th for ₹63,000) and Simran ‘simmi1313’ Malhotra (6th for ₹40,000) also earned final table payouts.

The invitational event witnessed 30 participants joining the action, including notable names like Muskan Sethi, Minissha Lamba, and Maria Kirloskar. Kirloskar playing under the moniker ‘DragonLady,’ placed fifth for ₹48,000.

The first of the eight featured events of Spartan Poker’s ongoing FTS 2.0, the ₹75 Lakhs GTD FTS#2 Kick-Off, has crowned a champion! The tourney garnered 718 entries on Sunday, overlaying ₹3.20 Lakhs.

The event played down to the eight-handed FT on Sunday, with the finalists resuming play at 6 PM the next day. Coming out on top in the tourney was none other than the 2020 annual leaderboard topper, Young Gun Gaurav ‘mozzie17’ Sood.

Sood, who had entered the FT with the fourth-largest stack, stormed past the tough FT to claim the champions medallion and a hefty ₹14.39 Lakhs. Neha ‘Nkush’ Saini came whiskers close to becoming the first woman to clinch an FTS title but had to concede to a runner-up score of ₹9.03 Lakhs.

The win has catapulted Sood to the #6 rank on the annual leaderboard with ₹81.67 Lakhs in recorded winnings. He also boasts of over ₹7.63 Crores in tracked online winnings.
