The National Poker Series has kept the MTT regs on a sleep-eat-play-repeat mode these last four days, and the player response to the much-hyped series has been nothing short of spectacular.

The two-time ‘The Weekly HighRoller’ winner Mohammad Azhar topped the Wednesday charts after taking down the multi-flight NPS Kick-Off for a career-best ₹10.70 Lakhs and the NPS Gold Medal. He bagged the biggest payday awarded at the NPS so far. Suraj Nameirakpam finished runner-up for a career-best ₹7.98 Lakhs.

Long-time circuit reg Romit Advani came out on top in the NPS Double Jump to win ₹6.91 Lakhs following a heads-up deal.

Pranav Bang shipped Spartan Poker’s Destiny for ₹6.32 Lakhs, with Yash Chitre taking second place.

Abhishek Pathak won Adda52’s Maverick for ₹3.75 Lakhs

The former AOPS Main Event third-place finisher Pranav ‘I’mThePlayboi’ Bang became the first player to book his seat in the Destiny 20.0 SnG Finale scheduled for September 5 (9 PM). Bang topped the 552-entry field to win ₹6.32 Lakhs. Sunday`s The Millionaire third-place finisher Bang clinched his first title of the year last night, boosting his online scorecard to ₹2.10 Crores (₹86.13 Lakhs in net profits).

Before taking down the title, Bang struck a heads-up deal with Yash ‘Babyshark10’ Chitre, who picked up a career-best ₹5.27 Lakhs for his deep run. The Destiny ran with a ₹26 Lakhs prize pool guarantee last night, a ₹2 Lakhs reduction over last week. The top 50 places got paid from the ₹27.60 Lakhs prize pool with a min-cash worth ₹13,800.

The second Wednesday marquee running as part of Spartan Poker’s Daily Poker Marathon, the Wednesday Vibes offered a slightly reduced ₹8 Lakhs prize pool guarantee. The ₹1,650 entry buy-in event collected a smashing ₹8.81 Lakhs prize pool from a starting field of 587 entrants. A seven-way final table deal saw Dhaval ‘Ace of hearts’ Doshi walking away with the title and a site-best ₹1.06 Lakhs. The event is almost guaranteed to set a new attendance record, as it needs 20,000 entries to hit its eight-figure guarantee. The NPS Golden Rush has locked in a third of that tall target in the first four flights alone and looks well on track to crushing its guarantee.

Speaking of Flight 1D, only 144 runners from the starting field of 1,237 entrants made the cut for Day 2.
