It was a smashing Sunday as Spartan Poker’s XXX Poker Series and PokerBaazi’s Baazi Turbo Series 2.0 completed their eight-day-long runs! Expectedly the biggest winners of the day emerged from these two series.
If we had to give an award for the “Player of the Day,” it would undoubtedly go to Shashank Shekhar! After a few near misses in the hunt for his maiden XXX Poker Series title, Shekhar went on a tear yesterday, championing the ₹1.50 Crores GTD XXX #75 Main Event for a jaw-dropping ₹27.35 Lakhs payday (including multiple cashes)! Not content with winning just one title, he took down the XXX #74 for ₹4.63 Lakhs and scored in four more events to post a career-best ₹32.56 Lakhs in winnings. Shekhar’s phenomenal Sunday run also saw him top the XXX Poker Series daily leaderboard race, fetching him ₹25,000 in bonus money!
Goonjan Mall locked in a runner-up payout worth ₹15.65 Lakhs, banking ₹16.91 Lakhs in Sunday winnings through five deep runs.
Besides the XXX #74 Main Event, the only other eight-figure guarantee tournament to play down to a champion last night was PokerBaazi’s ₹1 Crore GTD BTS#45 Main Event. Ashish Munot bagged the bragging right to become the BTS 2.0 Main Event champion, walking away with a ginormous ₹11.64 Lakhs payday.
A heads-up deal saw Rajat Sharma bank ₹10.64 Lakhs in second place, collecting ₹12.16 Lakhs overall through three deep runs.

Snehil Aggarwal (opted out of our tracking) has been on a roll off late. After posting runner-up finishes in two headline tournaments in the last five days, he finally went the distance in Spartan Poker’s The Rainmaker last night, banking the day`s single-biggest score worth ₹2.12 Lakhs. The former FTS – Supreme winner Deepak Singh stood second for ₹1.42 Lakhs (won ₹1.77 Lakhs overall).
