Daily Majors: Natural8 India’s ‘akdolos1’ Seizes the Monday Spotlight; Aditya Agarwal Continues Hot Streak

After a wild weekend of online poker action, Monday brought a sense of calm, giving players a chance to recharge and plan their strategies for the week ahead. With the DPT Grand, powered by Adda52, kicking off today and running until October 28, many regulars are packing their bags for Goa. And with some Indian pros battling it out at the APPT Manila Championship at the Okada Manila, the online action was quieter than usual.

But don’t think for a second that things were boring! PokerBaazi’s 10th Anniversary celebrations are still going strong, and Natural8 India continues to offer massive tournaments and juicy guarantees. With Diwali just around the corner, we can expect even more exciting action in the coming weeks!

Natural8 India’s ‘akdolos1’ (anonymity requested) stole the show on Monday with a phenomenal performance. After a final table finish in Junglee Poker’s Friday Supernova last week, ‘akdolos1’ made a stunning debut on Natural8 India, finishing fifth in the Bounty Hunters Daily Main 54 for a massive ₹6.75 Lakhs! This tournament drew a staggering field of 5,533 entries, and ‘akdolos1’ navigated their way through the competition like a true champion, ending the day as Monday’s biggest winner.

While ‘akdolos1’ was making waves on Natural8 India, WSOP bracelet winner Aditya Agarwal continued his hot streak on PokerBaazi, taking down The Big Show for ₹5.08 Lakhs just days after winning The Quest. This poker legend also made a deep run in The Big Show Lite, bringing his total winnings for the day to ₹5.19 Lakhs and making him the second-biggest winner of Monday. Kamlesh Raul, who won the Turbo PKO last week, finished runner-up in The Big Show for ₹3.05 Lakhs, his second-biggest online score ever. Ankit Wadhawan, last week’s The Summit finalist, took third place for ₹2.44 Lakhs.

Again on Natural8 India, the enigmatic ‘rabrab’ followed up their recent runner-up finish in the Bounty Hunters Deepstack Turbo 88 by taking down the Bounty Hunters Special 32 for ₹2.64 Lakhs.

One of the most exciting stories of the day was Mohak Kapoor‘s incredible double victory! This annual TLB leaderboard kingpin and “₹10 Crore Club” member boosted his yearly title count to an astounding 53 with two wins on PokerBaazi. He started by taking down the (7-Max) Afternoon Boost for ₹62,222, breaking a three-week title drought. Then, he went on to win the Daily Last Chance for ₹1.75 Lakhs, adding to his impressive resume of deep runs in this event. Kapoor also added five other cashes to his Monday haul, bringing his total winnings to ₹2.62 Lakhs and further solidifying his position as a top contender in the POY race.‘Pudow’ finished runner-up to Kapoor in the Daily Last Chance for ₹1.15 Lakhs, their second-biggest score on PokerBaazi.

Md Zeeshan also had a great day, winning PokerBaazi`s The Big Show Lite for ₹1.69 Lakhs. This was his first six-figure score in almost ten weeks and a much-needed boost after a relatively flat profit graph for over two years. ‘Bawaah’ finished runner-up in the same event for ₹1.38 Lakhs.

On Pocket52, Aditya Kulkarni, fresh off winning Junglee Poker’s Tuesday Turbo and a runner-up finish in PokerBaazi’s Daily Last Chance, kept his momentum going by taking down Pocket Jacks for ₹96,742—his biggest score on the platform. He raked in over ₹1.57 Lakhs for the day with a podium finish in Junglee Poker’s Monday Monster. Meanwhile, Vaibhav Temani, Sunday’s BSS SuperStack podium finisher, claimed the runner-up spot in Pocket Jacks for ₹67,949, bringing his total to ₹74,162 from two deep runs.

Utkarsh Somaaieyaa, September’s Iron Man and last week’s Godfather winner, completed a hattrick on Adda52, shipping Iron Man DPT Edition for the second time this year (third overall), earning ₹1.16 Lakhs after a heads-up deal. This was his third-best score this year. Aritra Hazra finished second in Iron Man DPT Edition, pocketing ₹1.08 Lakhs from the deal and pushing his total earnings to ₹1.14 Lakhs across two deep runs.

Over at Junglee Poker, ‘baghmundi,’ a relative newcomer, grabbed the top spot in the Monday Monster, earning 1.02 Lakhs.

Several players left their mark in Monday’s marquee events, with Piyush Nanda, Vinay Verma, Naresh Kumar, Raghav Siddalinga, and Divyansh Chandra all claiming victories.

Forget mere mortals; we’re talking about Mohak ‘Tiltin’ Kapoor – poker’s very own AI-winning machine! This volume junkie just had another night to remember, bagging not one but TWO titles on PokerBaazi. For most players, this would be a career-defining moment. For Kapoor? Just another Monday night. This guy is a true grinder, and he’s already part of the elite “₹10 Crore Club” in online winnings. After a historic win with the Deccan Aces in the Pocket52 PSL Season 6 (the first team to ever win the title twice!), Kapoor is having a year to remember. He’s currently ranked #12 in the Player of the Year race and is miles ahead of everyone else on the annual TLB leaderboard.

Kapoor has been on a tear lately with final table appearances left and right, and last night’s double victory boosted his annual title count to a mind-blowing 53 – that`s possibly a record itself! He started his winning spree by taking down PokerBaazi’s ₹5 Lakhs GTD (7-Max) Afternoon Boost – the first marquee event of the day – for the fourth time (he won it three times last year!), netting ₹62,222 and breaking a three-week title drought since his last victory in Pocket52’s Pocket Rockets on October 2.

Buoyed by that success in the first marquee tournament of the day, he remarkably snatched his second title in the last flagship event on Monday, the ₹10 Lakhs GTD Daily Last Chance. This victory is even more impressive, considering he also had a podium finish in this 10:30 PM flagship earlier this month and a final table appearance two weeks ago in the same event.

The 10:30 PM Daily Last Chance was an absolute bloodbath, with 314 late-night warriors (513 total entries) battling it out for a share of the seven-figure prize pool. Kapoor fought hard for five and a half hours, using his skills and experience to navigate the tough competition. In the end, he emerged victorious, adding ₹1.75 Lakhs to his bankroll – his seventh-best score on PokerBaazi this year! But the accolades didn’t stop there. Kapoor added five more cash finishes to his Monday haul, racking up a total of ₹2.62 Lakhs and extending his lead on the TLB leaderboard even further.

Daily Majors: Mukesh Surana, Rajneesh Thakur, Abhishek Goindi & Aditya Singh Headline the Tuesday Charts With Standout Performances

Tuesdays are typically a bit slow on the virtual poker felts, but this week was an exception. The prestigious ₹60 Crore GTD Indian Poker Masters on PokerBaazi and the ₹12+ Crore GTD Azadi Series on Junglee Poker fueled the excitement, with players vying for massive prize pools and coveted titles.

The domestic online poker scene was electric with thrilling action and impressive scores. Meanwhile, the Indian athletes at the ongoing Summer Olympics brought mixed emotions. Vinesh Phogat made history as the first Indian woman to reach the final of a wrestling event at the Olympics, only to be disqualified for being 100 grams over the weight limit. The Indian Olympic Association has appealed the decision. In other news, Antim Panghal, after losing her bout in the women’s 53kg, still has a chance for bronze through the repechage round, and the women’s table tennis team faced an exit after a tough match against Germany. On a brighter note, golfer Aditi Ashok started strong in Round 1 of Women’s Individual Stroke Play.

In the heart of the action, Mukesh Surana, a celebrated poker pro known for The MoneyMaker 17.0 win, made a triumphant return to the winner’s circle. After a four-week hiatus, Surana dominated PokerBaazi’s ₹60 Lakhs GTD IPM#18 Big Megastack, seizing a career-second India Poker Masters title and Tuesday’s only IPM trophy, alongside a whopping ₹9.95 Lakhs top prize. This monumental win also boosted him into the top 100 of the ₹1 Crore IPM series leaderboard.

Last night, Uday ‘udaymoola’ Moola, a player who hasn’t been too active since July 2019, made that dream come true.
