Daily Majors: Ankit Bajaj Kicks Off the Week Strong With a ₹13.44 Lakhs Onslaught on Natural8 India

Las Vegas is positively scorching, and it’s not just the desert sun doing the work. The 56th annual World Series of Poker (WSOP) is already seven days deep into its legendary summer run at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, and the poker grind is in full throttle. Nine golden bracelets have already found worthy champions, and the race for poker glory is heating up with every flip of the card. Amidst the early series commotion, Ashish Munot made sure India was in the mix. The MTT pro picked up a tidy $10,349 (~₹8.87 Lakhs) for his 30th-place finish in Event #10: $600 No-Limit Hold’em Deepstack earlier today, kickstarting another WSOP campaign in fine style.

Back on the home digital tables, Monday came in swinging—not with a whimper, but with a definite bang. Sure, PokerBaazi`s iconic The MoneyMaker took a well-earned breather after an epic 32-day consecutive stretch, and its absence created a void that was hard to fill. But the platform has upped the ante, announcing a new 9:30 PM flagship tournament every day of the week. The GrindHouse was the first in this string of new additions!

Cash game players also have plenty to sink their teeth into: the Summer Cash Carnival features a jaw-dropping ₹25 Crores each month—a massive ₹50 Crores across June and July. Leaderboards alone now promise an incredible ₹18 Crores, and there’s a further ₹7 Crores waiting in Mega Splashes. With the new Splash 2.0 feature now live, even bystanders at active tables get to taste the spoils. Add in the pumped-up rakeback perks from the All-In Club, and PokerBaazi isn’t just keeping pace—it’s clearly setting the tempo for online poker in the country.

Over at Natural8 India, the World Festival 2025 continues to turn heads, consistently drawing new names into the mix, and the stream of monster scores continues even as the prize showers are expected to keep pouring until June 10. Junglee Poker has also slammed the gas pedal, launching its ₹7.50+ Crores GTD Summer Showdown series—featuring two daily flagships, massive weekend finales, and a non-stop leaderboard chase. Not to be outdone, PokerStars India is letting it rain—quite literally—with its own Rainmaker Series. And for the mid-stakes warriors, CoinPoker has uncorked its Mid-Stakes Cash Game World Championship (running June 1–28), offering rake-free NL500 games, a sleek $15K Rolex, $25K in raw cash, and weekly $1K VIP seats up for grabs.

But all said and done, Ankit Bajaj was the undisputed hero of Monday’s online action. After a phenomenal Big Whale victory on Adda52 the night before, the player holding down the fort at #3 on the 2025 POY charts certainly wasn’t finished making noise. The same individual who cracked open a ₹1 Crore mystery bounty on Natural8 India in March was at it again. Bajaj dove into the mammoth GG Masters Festival Edition 150, a beast of a tournament that pulled in a colossal 6,889 entries. He nearly went the distance, his efforts netting him a staggering ₹13.44 Lakhs for a ninth-place finish—his third-biggest score of the year and the highest single collection across all platforms for the day. Now boasting ₹2.09 Crores in annual winnings, which makes him just the third player this year to cross the ₹2 Crore line (with ₹1.43 Crores of that coming from Natural8 India alone), Bajaj is clearly keeping the POY race exceptionally intense.

Rishabh Gupta was another poker powerhouse who kept his hot streak blazing, once again taking full control of PokerBaazi’s The Big Show. In a repeat performance just weeks apart, Gupta powered through the field to claim the Monday headliner title for the second time in four weeks (his third win in this specific event this year). This victory saw his account grow by a slick ₹5.51 Lakhs. With two more deep runs across his session, his Monday earnings tallied up to ₹5.75 Lakhs. Gupta, who finished #2 on the May leaderboard, continues to hold down the #15 spot on the 2025 POY leaderboard. Breathing down his neck in The Big Show was Aditya Pareek, who came painfully close to claiming his first major win in three years. He powered his way to a runner-up finish, a result that added ₹3.31 Lakhs to his name—his biggest payday of the year.

Other notable scores lighting up the Natural8 India lobbies included:

  • ‘rosarioai,’ returning after three months since a debut cash, finished sixth in the Zodiac Main Event at World Festival 2025 for ₹3.81 Lakhs.
  • Glock-19‘ made an explosive debut, finishing third in the Holdem Deepstack, which meant a ₹3.38 Lakhs payday.
  • Shobhit Jaju also made a strong first impression on the platform, jumping into the turbo-charged Holdem Deepstack and finishing third for a payout of ₹3.38 Lakhs.
  • Confuseus,’ returning after a Saturday near-miss, slid into the Monday Monster Stack 150, finishing 13th and walking away with ₹1.78 Lakhs.

‘SPRINT King’ Pradip Ghosh is clearly in no mood to slow down his current run. He further extended his hot streak into yet another night of multi-platform dominance. Having won Spartan Poker’s Supreme five times in the last two months and coming off a sensational Sunday run (which included winning Adda52’s Big Slick and finishing runner-up in PokerBaazi’s BSS SuperStack), Ghosh added yet another title to his trailblazing collection. He took down Adda52’s Inception, a victory worth ₹1.96 Lakhs. With four more cashes across the night, including a near-miss runner-up finish in Spartan Poker’s Supreme, Ghosh pushed his Monday earnings to ₹2.78 Lakhs. Nipping at his heels in the Inception was Pranav Khandalkar, who’s riding a heater of his own. After a recent victory in The Summit Lite on PokerBaazi, Khandalkar fell just shy of the Inception title, finishing as the runner-up and collecting ₹1.45 Lakhs, pushing his Monday total north of ₹1.71 Lakhs.

Zeshan Hamza, who grabbed a podium finish in The Endeavour last week, came roaring back and finally snapped a six-month title drought, doing so with a bang. He conquered PokerBaazi’s brand-new GrindHouse, walking away with ₹1.75 Lakhs after a heads-up deal. This was his third-biggest score of 2025 and helped wrap up his night with his total earnings at ₹2.01 Lakhs. Almost stealing the thunder in that event was Vasu Tyagi, the NPS#145 Deepdive Gold Medallist, who pushed Hamza to the very brink in the heads-up clash, banking an almost identical ₹1.74 Lakhs from the deal—his third-biggest score ever and second-best for the year.

Other flagship winners on PokerBaazi included the recent The MoneyMaker 122.0 champion ‘Frankie08‘ (who took down the Daily Last Chance for ₹2.10 Lakhs) and Parth Kothari (winner of The Big Show Lite for ₹1.78 Lakhs).

Over on Junglee Poker, Lavesh Meena, who finished runner-up in PokerBaazi`s Big PLO-5 just last Friday, went one better in SS#3 Monday Monster, notching up a remarkable 16th title this year, his efforts netting him ₹97,015.

Capping off the Monday grind in fine style were Uppala Sai Raghu, Shekhar Singh (who won two titles), Unmesh Nair, Avinav Menon, Sahil Aggarwal, and Dhaval Heda, who all added other marquee titles to their growing resumes.

Here are the Monday highlights!

Monday nights might be a gentle warm-up to the poker week, but over on PokerBaazi, there’s no such thing as a slow day. The platform kicked off the week with its customary fanfare and a burst of high-energy play, rolling out a fresh 9:30 PM flagship to complement its already packed schedule.

After a truly explosive May, Monday saw that relentless daily chase for The MoneyMaker bracelet take a well-earned breather, following an incredible 32 consecutive nights of championship action since May 1. But even with that particular marathon now a Sunday special, the primetime tables were far from quiet. The ₹30 Lakhs GTD The Big Show confidently took the reins of the day’s proceedings, and it didn’t just meet its guarantee; it sailed past it in style, delivering poker fireworks from the first shuffle to the final showdown.

Spearheading the charge in this Monday major was Rishabh ‘rgeader’ Gupta, this Pune-based poker regular carrying his white-hot May form into early achievements in the new month. Playing nearly eight hours of high-level poker, Gupta bested a very competitive 735-entry field (340 unique) to win The Big Show, his prize a generous ₹5.51 Lakhs. This was his third time winning this Monday headliner, all coming this year, and now two in just under a month, with the previous one landing in early May!

Gupta’s current run of form is far from a fleeting hot streak—he’s on an undeniable breakout path. Having narrowly missed out on a Masters#114 Grand Master title in 2023 and scoring big with an IOPC Sunday Prime win that same year, Gupta entered 2025 with all guns blazing. He opened the year with a career-best fourth-place finish in Natural8 India’s The Weekender 50. His May campaign was spectacular, racking up a stunning ₹65.36 Lakhs in total earnings from wins and podium finishes across various platforms to finish #2 on the monthly charts. This incredible month featured a career-high ₹14.61 Lakhs for a runner-up finish in Natural8 India`s Bounty Hunters Deepstack Turbo 55, quickly followed by a seventh-place showing in the Bounty Hunters Daily Main 55 that added another ₹6.76 Lakhs to his impressive tally.

His second bullet in last night’s The Big Show proved golden. This victory also became his third-biggest score on PokerBaazi in 2025, just a touch shy of his two earlier first-place finishes in this event this year. Gupta also made deep runs in two other flagship events, pushing his Monday haul north of ₹5.75 Lakhs. Now sporting over ₹1.36 Crores in annual winnings and sitting comfortably in the top 15 of the 2025 POY race, this was a definitive week-opening statement by a player riding a remarkable wave of exceptional form and confidence.

> 1st in PokerBaazi’s The Big Show for ₹5,51,000

> 13th in PokerBaazi’s Daily Last Chance for ₹12,385

> 18th in Adda52’s Inception for ₹11,139

Rishabh Gupta’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India and Junglee Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹4.78 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.28 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #4 | Finished #2 in the May Leaderboard Standings | Annual Winnings: ₹1.36 Crores | Ranked #15 in the 2025 Leaderboard Standings (Total Cashes)

Pushing him all the way in The Big Show was Aditya ‘speckem’ Pareek, who has been quietly but effectively climbing back into formidable shape this year. Known for his sporadic forays in flagship events, Pareek had reached the final table of the NPS#82 Mega Rush in March and landed on the podium in the Daily Last Chance just a couple of weeks ago.

However, a title was missing from his achievements for almost three years, with his last victory dating back to Spartan Poker’s Night Rider in June 2022. Last night, it looked like the drought might finally end. Pareek navigated The Big Show final table with considerable finesse, only to fall short at the very end. His runner-up finish still earned him a striking ₹3.31 Lakhs – his biggest score of the year so far and a clear signal that he`s indeed getting that long-lost mojo back!

Aditya Pareek’s online stats (PokerBaazi and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹1.33 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹11.32 Lakhs

As one would expect from a PokerBaazi headliner, The Big Show’s final table was stacked with notable talent and other ambitious grinders who were all looking to make the headlines. The other top finishers included ‘sumi9005’ (3rd for a site-best ₹2.54 Lakhs), last night’s Daily PLO-5 champion ‘Pocket__aces’ (4th for ₹2.11 Lakhs), Avish ‘thehorse7’ Sharma (5th for ₹1.75 Lakhs), Sameer ‘Gofish’ Agarwal (6th for ₹1.41 Lakhs), Gursheet ‘weepyCrax311943’ Taluja (7th for ₹1.11 Lakhs), and Kumar ‘23offsuits’ Vatsal (8th for ₹81,220).

Unlike the trend observed through much of May, which often saw The Big Show requiring a top-up from the house to meet its guarantee (likely because player attention was somewhat divided by the daily-running The MoneyMaker), last night`s edition was a roaring success. It drew in players in droves, blowing the ₹30 Lakhs guarantee out of the water by a significant ₹6.75 Lakhs, generating a staggering ₹36.75 Lakhs prize pool. It was a fantastic upside for the 111 players who made it into the money, each banking at least ₹11,030—nearly twice the ₹5,750 buy-in.

With the May madness now neatly in the books, June has kicked off with undeniable energy and action on PokerBaazi. And it’s not just the MTT players who have reasons to be excited; cash game players also have plenty of skin in the game with the grand ₹50 Crores GTD Summer Cash Carnival now well underway for them to sink their teeth into and chase some serious leaderboard loot.

As June rolled in after what was a fiery May, PokerBaazi doubled down on its commitment to elevate the online MTT landscape, launching a raft of new enhancements that only the industry leader can introduce. Among several moves is a fresh batch of daily 9:30 PM flagships on the schedule, promising lively late-night action every night of the week. And Monday night saw the debut of the ₹12 Lakhs GTD Grind House—the brand-new 9:30 PM flagship—and it made a fine debut indeed. The ₹3,500 buy-in event drew a strong 450-entry field (260 unique), comfortably sailing past its guarantee and building a prize pool of ₹13.70 Lakhs.

After a demanding six and a half hours of energetic poker, Goa’s Zeshan ‘Deez49’ Hamza capitalized on the opportunity—a celebrated return to winning form after nearly six months. Just last Tuesday, Hamza had finished third in The Endeavour, a performance that added ₹3.75 Lakhs to his bankroll—his second-best score ever. Carrying that good form, he won the first-ever GrindHouse title, pocketing ₹1.75 Lakhs after a heads-up deal—his third-best score of the year.

And while that GrindHouse victory was undoubtedly the perfect way to cap off his session, Hamza had already notched up two other scores earlier in the day. This included a sixth-place finish in the (7-Max) Afternoon Boost worth ₹22,000, bringing his total collections to a sweet sum exceeding ₹2.01 Lakhs.

> 1st in PokerBaazi’s GrindHouse for ₹1,75,000* (heads-up deal)

> 6th in PokerBaazi’s (7-Max) Afternoon Boost for ₹22,000

> 109th in PokerBaazi’s The Big Show Lite for ₹4,301

Zeshan Hamza’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52 and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹2.19 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹20.95 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #1

The heads-up battle for the inaugural GrindHouse title was gripping, with the NPS#145 Deepdive Gold Medallist Vasu ‘BrothermanV’ Tyagi proving a strong competitor. The UP-based grinder, a regular on PokerBaazi since October 2023, came very near to winning his second title of the year. He finished as the runner-up, but his share from the heads-up deal was a nearly equal ₹1.74 Lakhs—his third-best score overall and second-best this year.

The GrindHouse final table packed in several other well-known faces, all making determined runs for the title. This included Aditya ‘Nihilist’ Kumar (3rd for ₹1.11 Lakhs), last week’s BSS Super Value third-place finisher Nikesh ‘Durr102’ Chawla (4th for ₹83,560), Anuj ‘NinzaPunts’ Singh Rawat (5th for ₹65,750), Aurkodyuti ‘ad87’ Das (7th for ₹41,910), and last night’s Daily Boost champion Unmesh ‘Unmesh’ Nair (8th for ₹30,820).

With a ₹3,500 buy-in, the GrindHouse not only comfortably surpassed its guarantee on its very first run but also delivered that juicy ₹13.70 Lakhs prize pool. The top 70 finishers were all guaranteed at least ₹6,850—nearly double the initial buy-in. PokerBaazi’s newest flagship certainly made a fantastic first impression and looks set to add some serious heat to the Monday night poker lineup on India’s leading online platform!

  1. Zeshan ‘Deez49’ Hamza – ₹1,75,000*
  2. Vasu ‘BrothermanV’ Tyagi – ₹1,74,000*

PokerBaazi’s 10:30 PM flagship—the ₹10 Lakhs GTD Daily Last Chance—once again lived up to its late-night legacy, crushing its guarantee and delivering a night of unmissable action. And right in the thick of it was Delhi’s unstoppable ‘Frankie08’ (anonymity requested), who lit up the virtual felt with yet another win.

Fresh off a career-best ₹15 Lakhs triumph in Sunday’s The MoneyMaker 122.0, they delivered incredible, back-to-back flagship wins on consecutive days! In the 10:30 PM Daily Last Chance, ‘Frankie08’ took on a 633-entry field (331 unique) and, after over seven hours of late-night action, emerged as the champion, bagging ₹2.10 Lakhs. This marked their third Daily Last Chance title, first of the year, and their sixth overall victory in 2025 (five on PokerBaazi and one on Adda52)—a testament to the unstoppable momentum they’re carrying into June.

A double Gold Medallist at NPS India 2025, ‘Frankie08’ was a force in May, racking up 13 final table finishes across platforms. While a mid-month Big PLO-5 win broke a two-month title drought, Sunday’s The MoneyMaker win truly reignited their form.

Their Monday run didn’t stop at the Daily Last Chance—they also scored in The Big Show, pushing their daily haul to ₹2.28 Lakhs. With this, they now sit firmly at #30 on Poker Baazi’s 2025 POY leaderboard.

> 1st in PokerBaazi’s Daily Last Chance for ₹2,10,000

> 31st in PokerBaazi’s The Big Show for ₹18,275

The road to victory wasn’t easy, especially with Mumbai’s seasoned pro Anish ‘PapaNegreanu’ Arora in the mix. A mainstay of India’s online poker scene since 2018 and the key player of PokerBaazi’s ‘Poker Masterclass’ champions Team Crushers, Arora was determined to break his post-The Quest title drought. He’d been in form with three final tables across platforms in recent weeks, including a fourth-place finish in #29 The MoneyMaker just days ago. On Monday night, Arora fought hard in the Daily Last Chance but had to settle for a runner-up finish worth ₹1.38 Lakhs.

Anish Arora’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52 and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹5.15 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.39 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #4 | Annual Winnings: ₹58.80 Lakhs | Annual Profits: ₹25.17 Lakhs

The Daily Last Chance final table was packed with in-form contenders: Friday’s The Quest finalist Madhur ‘Madhur1994’ Sharma (3rd for ₹1.02 Lakhs), The Endeavour winner Jyotindra ‘JacksPaaro’ Dubey (4th for ₹78,990), Sunday’s The Sundowner champion Kripansh ‘GentMrK’ Khosla (6th for ₹52,840), three-time Daily Last Chance winner Vishal ‘VishalMaharaj’ Maharaj (7th for ₹41,420), and Sona ‘Homegrown’ Ram (8th for ₹30,410).

Once again, the ₹2,500 buy-in Daily Last Chance delivered a massive prize pool of ₹13.76 Lakhs—nearly 1.4X the advertised guarantee—rewarding the top 102 finishers with at least ₹5,500 each, more than double the buy-in. No wonder this tournament remains a fan favourite, consistently serving top-tier poker action and tremendous value for the late-shift grinders.

Junglee Poker

SS#3 Monday Monster – ₹5 Lakhs GTD

Buy-in – ₹2,300

Entries – 258

Prize Pool – ₹5,16,000

Places Paid – 29

Junglee Poker is keeping the poker fires burning with non-stop MTT excitement. Just as the applause was fading from their massive ₹7.50+ Crores GTD Poker Premiere League, which wrapped up this past Saturday, the platform wasted no time rolling out its next blockbuster—the Summer Showdown series. And this is no small follow-up act; it boasts the same hefty ₹7.50+ Crores in guaranteed prize money, spread invitingly across the entire month of June.

Day 2 of this sizzling month-long poker fiesta kept the energy high. The virtual tables stayed decidedly red-hot, with two Summer Showdown (SS) feature tournaments commanding the spotlight alongside Qualifier 2 of the ₹25 Lakhs GTD Main Showdown, the first can’t-miss weekend blockbuster of this new series.

The newly rebranded ₹5 Lakhs GTD SS#3 Monday Monster confidently led last night’s primetime charge. This bounty-driven 8 PM contest attracted 258 entries, and the ensuing poker battle unfolded over a spirited six hours and 44 minutes of strategic play. When the final hand was dealt and all the digital chips were stacked high, Jaipur’s MTT powerhouse, Lavesh ‘magicodds98’ Meena, was basking in the winner’s glow.

Lavesh Meena
Lavesh Meena

Coming into this showdown with some fine recent form, having finished runner-up in PokerBaazi`s Big PLO-5 just last Friday, Meena certainly delivered. A three-time Thursday Mini Highroller champion on Junglee Poker this year (four times overall), Meena delivered what can only be described as a veritable masterclass in PKO strategy. He coolly dismantled the field to add a Summer Showdown title to his long and ever-growing list of poker achievements. For his efforts, Meena saw his account grow by a total of ₹97,015, with ₹60,766 earned solely from bounties. This victory also represents his 16th title of the year, arriving just 12 days after his last recorded win in Adda52’s Head Hunter, adding to his already notorious reputation as one of the most dangerous MTT crushers on the circuit.

Adding more fuel to his current hot run, Meena backed up this win with deep runs in two more events, wrapping up his day with his total earnings of just under ₹1.06 Lakhs.

> 1st in Junglee Poker’s SS#3 Monday Monster for ₹97,015* (₹60,766 in bounties)

> 40th in PokerBaazi’s GrindHouse for ₹5,479

> 94th in PokerBaazi’s The Big Show Lite for ₹3,276

Lavesh Meena’s online stats (excluding Junglee Poker and Natural8 India): Lifetime Winnings: ₹4.90 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.53 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #15 (across all platforms) | Annual Winnings: ₹82.10 Lakhs | Annual Profits: ₹51.82 Lakhs

Site user ‘rinku…singh’ also made a spirited charge for the SS#3 Monday Monster title. Despite falling just short of the top spot, their efforts earned them ₹38,697 (₹2,500 in bounties) for their second-place finish.

The ₹2,300 buy-in SS#3 Monday Monster certainly kept the early momentum at the Summer Showdown series rolling along strongly. It drew a healthy turnout, generating a guarantee-beating ₹5.16 Lakhs prize pool. With payouts beginning from 29th place, even a min-cash of ₹3,870 offered players a worthwhile return, even before counting any bounties they snagged along the way. And with an entire month of daily primetime action still left to unfold in the Summer Showdown series, June is packed with inviting opportunities for players on Junglee Poker.

Even as the Indian poker community was absorbing the unsettling developments from earlier today, with the RMG industry facing a setback in the legal challenge against the controversial and seemingly far-reaching TNOGA 2025 rules enacted by the Tamil Nadu government in February, the Monday night online poker scene played out with its usual vigour.

India’s online poker landscape is a veritable hive of top-tier talent, but few are currently riding the kind of remarkable wave of form as Pradip ‘Nit2Donk’ Ghosh. This versatile player, whom we’ve aptly nicknamed the ‘SPRINT King,’ added yet another jewel to his growing collection of titles last night. Already enjoying a phenomenal heater, featuring five Supreme victories on Spartan Poker in just the last two months (alongside a lengthy list of other strong finishes), Ghosh was coming off a spectacular Sunday. This past weekend run saw him conquer Adda52`s Sunday Big Slick and then finishing runner-up in PokerBaazi’s BSS SuperStack, where he took the lion’s share of ₹6.51 Lakhs from a heads-up deal – his best financial result this year. This high-volume pro from Durgapur wasted no time in climbing right back onto the winner’s perch. This time, his target was Adda52’s ₹10 Lakhs GTD Inception, and he went all the way again.

Pradip Ghosh
Pradip Ghosh

Ghosh navigated a field of 235 entries (131 unique) in the now-regular 8 PM flagship event, carving his way to the top with his signature finesse. His efforts saw his account credited with a tasty ₹1.96 Lakhs—his first time taking down this event and his fifth biggest score on the platform this year. This latest achievement was his third Adda52 title of the year, and his pace isn’t showing any signs of letting up.

And, true to form, Ghosh stayed in high gear, racking up four more deep runs across the board and even claiming a runner-up finish in Spartan Poker’s Supreme, narrowly missing out on adding to what has been an incredible success rate in that nightly event. All together, Ghosh`s Monday night exploits resulted in his earnings for the session reaching a healthy ₹2.78 Lakhs, keeping his trailblazing run in full swing!

> 1st in Adda52’s Inception for ₹1,95,557

> 2nd in Spartan Poker’s Supreme for ₹65,955

> 71st in PokerBaazi’s Daily Last Chance for ₹5,504

> 6th in Adda52’s Daily Deep Dive for ₹5,335

> 65th in PokerBaazi’s The Big Show Lite for ₹5,304

Pradip Ghosh’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India and Junglee Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹9.70 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹4.22 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #12 | Annual Winnings: ₹81.72 Lakhs | Annual Profits: ₹41.32 Lakhs

Making that final clash for the Inception title particularly exciting was Pranav ‘pkpok’ Khandalkar. He wasn’t there to make up the numbers—he came in swinging, fully prepared to go the distance. Coming off a recent win in PokerBaazi’s The Summit Lite, Khandalkar brought considerable heat to the Inception finale, going toe-to-toe with Ghosh in a gripping heads-up battle that could have gone either way. Even though he couldn’t quite close it out this time, this Mumbai-based banker cum poker regular notched up a neat ₹1.45 Lakhs for his runner-up performance—his second-best result on Adda52 this year. Khandalkar stacked up two more deep runs on PokerBaazi before calling it a night, padding his Monday total to over ₹1.71 Lakhs.

> 23rd in PokerBaazi’s Grind House for ₹13,698

Pranav Khandalkar’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India and Junglee Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹9.79 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.55 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #7

The Inception final table was a cauldron, featuring a strong lineup of some of the top poker players in the country, like last week’s Friday Mystery Bounty winner Vishal ‘darky012’ Ojha (3rd for ₹1.07 lakhs), last month`s Godfather podium finisher Sachin ‘brownguy26’ Raj (4th for ₹79,146), Sunday’s Big Whale finalist, WSOP bracelet winner and NPC contender Aditya ‘a_sushant’ Sushant (6th for ₹43,305) and recent Mystery Bounty champion Anmol ‘ace10’ Narang (7th for ₹32,033).

True to what’s becoming a welcome tradition on Adda52, the Inception brought an attractive bonus for the grinders—a juicy ₹2.83 Lakhs overlay—an even larger supplement than last week. Still, it only meant more value for everyone who jumped into the event. With a ₹3,500 buy-in, the ₹10 Lakhs in the prize pool flowed to the top 35 finishers, where even a min-cash came with a ₹9,577 payout. The appealing prize structures and lively action on Adda52 remain top-notch, keeping that player-friendly momentum chugging along strongly on India`s longest-serving online poker platform.

With just one week left in May, India’s online poker scene is running white-hot—and PokerBaazi is setting the pace. This week, the platform unleashed the highly anticipated Upgrade 2025, a revolutionary overhaul that’s reshaping the digital poker experience. From the AI-powered Sensei coach (as part of the sleek new Pokershots 2.0 suite) to the innovative Kingmaker tournament engine, a revamped desktop UI, and elite-only All-In Club access, the upgrade promises faster gameplay, more creative learning tools, and elevated rewards—ushering in a new era for grinders of all stripes.

But even as PokerBaazi stepped into the future, the familiar May tempo held strong. Its daily ₹1 Crore GTD The MoneyMaker continues to dominate the nightly schedule, offering championship bracelets and seven-figure paydays every single evening. As the grind wears on, the impact on the leaderboards is undeniable.

And it’s not just Baazi bringing the heat. Natural8 India’s World Festival 2025 is living up to its billing as the biggest online series in Indian history, unleashing tournament-shaking payouts and reshuffling the top performers almost daily.

Adda52’s recharged flagship lineup is drawing deep fields with serious prize pools, while Junglee Poker’s ₹7.50 Crores GTD Poker Premier League (PPL) is roaring into the final stretch of its ₹50 Crores GTD mega-series. Meanwhile, over in the crypto corner, CoinPoker’s $2.50 Million GTD CSOP Spring Festival is blending blockchain with big blinds in spectacular fashion.

With major guarantees and six-figure paydays flying across every platform, this week’s Super Sunday is shaping up to be pivotal. The top three on the 2025 POY leaderboard continue to hold firm, but the mid-pack has been a whirlwind of movement, and with one week left, the May finish line is still up for grabs.

Tarun Goyal: 16 Weeks at #1 – A Reign of Relentless Dominance

Tarun Goyal refuses to blink. For the 16th consecutive week, the reigning Player of the Year continues to tower over the 2025 POY leaderboard—his supremacy now echoing the legacy of Young Gun Gaurav Sood‘s legendary three-peat.

Goyal’s historic 2024 campaign rewrote the record books. With ₹12.39 Crores in tracked winnings and ₹10 Crores in profits, he didn’t just win the 2024 POY—he delivered what is widely considered the greatest single-year run in Indian online poker history. But instead of easing off the throttle, Goyal charged into 2025 with even more fire.

Tarun Goyal
Tarun Goyal

A massive ₹2.74 Crores score in February gave him a head start in the race to repeat—and he hasn’t looked back. After a slow start to May, Goyal reminded the field of his firepower on May 12, finishing runner-up in Natural8 India’s Bounty Hunters Mega Main 525 for ₹67.45 Lakhs—including ₹14 Lakhs in bounties. It was his second-biggest score of 2025 and enough to top both the weekly and monthly leaderboards.

This week, Goyal followed it up with another stellar showing—seventh place in the Tuesday Classic 1,050 for ₹16.75 Lakhs, making him the weekly topper again, with ₹21.26 Lakhs in weekly winnings and ₹18.07 Lakhs in profits.

That heater has extended his May lead to ₹91.16 Lakhs in winnings and ₹72.53 Lakhs in profits—blazing a path that few can even hope to follow.

After five months of unrelenting excellence, Goyal stands as the only player to cross the ₹5 Crores milestone in 2025, with ₹5.63 Crores in total winnings and ₹3.06 Crores in profits. He now holds a ₹1.37 Crore advantage over Anant Purohit—a staggering 32% lead that speaks volumes about the scale of his dominance.

While Purohit may yet mount a challenge, for now, Tarun Goyal remains firmly in control—unshaken, unmatched, and untouchable.

Anant Purohit: Relentless Challenger in a Two-Horse POY Race

If Tarun Goyal sits atop the mountain, Anant Purohit is the unyielding force climbing right behind him. The 2024 POY runner-up is back at it in 2025—playing the long game, stacking up scores, and making sure the POY battle is anything but a foregone conclusion.

Purohit’s biggest statement came in late March when he conquered Natural8 India’s PLOSSUS Bounty 400 for a personal record—₹1.92 Crores. That single monster win didn’t just headline the month; it sliced Goyal’s lead and reignited the chase.

Anant Purohit
Anant Purohit

But Purohit isn’t a one-hit wonder. Through April, he kept the pedal down, notching back-to-back runner-up finishes in Omaholic bounty high rollers —₹12.98 Lakhs in the Omaholic Bounty Hunters HR 525 and ₹6.55 Lakhs in the Sunday Bounty Big Game 215, claiming the top spot on April’s monthly charts (₹34.97 Lakhs in winnings & ₹21.43 Lakhs in profits).

He kept his foot on the gas as May kicked off, landing a fourth-place finish in The European Classic 320 (₹16.58 Lakhs) and steadily grinding out more scores.

Now, with ₹4.23 Crores in annual winnings and ₹1.24 Crores in profits, Purohit remains the only serious contender within reach of Goyal. The rest of the field trails far behind. Once again, it’s shaping up as a classic Goyal vs. Purohit duel. With Purohit’s career-best heater showing no signs of slowing, the race for the POY crown is very much alive—and far from over.

Ankit Bajaj: The Steady Podium Pillar

Ankit Bajaj remains a rock-solid fixture at #3 on the 2025 POY leaderboard, trailing only the red-hot duo of Tarun Goyal and Anant Purohit. While the gap to the top two remains sizable, Bajaj’s unwavering consistency has ensured his place in the POY spotlight.

His career-defining moment came on March 2, when he landed a game-changing ₹1 Crore mystery bounty on Natural8 India. That massive win vaulted him into the elite club of Indian players with eight-figure scores in a single tournament, and it’s kept him on the podium ever since.

Ankit Bajaj

Though the past few weeks were relatively quiet, Bajaj snapped back from a five-week break earlier this month—banking over ₹14.50 Lakhs in a single session.

With ₹1.78 Crores in 2025 winnings and ₹97.03 Lakhs in profits, Bajaj remains firmly in contention. But with hungry contenders like Aman Parakh, Rajneesh Thakur, and Advait Rajguru closing the gap fast, he’ll need another headline result soon to hold on to that coveted #3 ranking as the race heats up.

POY Mid-Pack: The Chase for the Podium Intensifies

While the top three in the 2025 POY standings remain immovable, the pack right behind them is holding formation—with all eyes on the podium.

Rising Star Aman Parakh continues to make waves at #4. With ₹1.57 Crores in annual winnings and ₹83.36 Lakhs in profits, he’s proving he’s more than just a breakout name—he’s a legitimate threat to the podium. Steady, strategic, and now entirely in the spotlight.

At #5, the ever-grinding Rajneesh Thakur keeps pace. Known for his unmatched volume and TLB dominance, Thakur has racked up ₹1.52 Crores in winnings and ₹62.71 Lakhs in profits this year. His unrelenting presence ensures he’s always just one heater away from shaking things up.

Advait Rajguru—the calm, consistent force—sits at #6. A top-five POY finisher in 2024 and a key member of the PokerGuru Staking roster, Rajguru holds ₹1.44 Crores in winnings and ₹82.54 Lakhs in profits. With his clinical consistency, he remains a ticking time bomb in the mid-pack.

Rishabh Gupta Holds #2 on May’s Monthly Leaderboard

Rishabh Gupta has been riding a red-hot streak this May, and it’s paying off in a big way. After a three-day heater on Natural8 India last week, Gupta rocketed to the top of the charts—and he hasn’t let up since.

Rishabh Gupta
Rishabh Gupta

Now holding firm at #2 on the May monthly leaderboard, Gupta has amassed ₹59.10 Lakhs in winnings and ₹42.55 Lakhs in profits, making him one of the most in-form players of the month.

The highlight of his surge was a career-best ₹14.61 Lakhs runner-up finish in the Bounty Hunters Deepstack Turbo 55. He followed it up with a 7th-place finish in the Bounty Hunters Daily Main 55 for ₹6.76 Lakhs and shipped PokerBaazi’s The Big Show for ₹5 Lakhs. With May still open for two more Sunday twists, Gupta’s heater could yet deliver an even bigger finish.

Mohit Bohra Locks In #3 Spot on May Leaderboard

Mohit Bohra, India’s first-ever National Poker Champion, is proving that lightning can strike twice—and then some. The Gujarat-based pro has kept the momentum rolling with yet another stellar month, holding firm at #3 on the May monthly leaderboard with ₹41.14 Lakhs in winnings and ₹33.92 Lakhs in profits.

Mohit Bohra
Mohit Bohra

The turning point came early in May, when Bohra shipped PokerBaazi’s The MoneyMaker 94.0, banking a career-best ₹15 Lakhs on the platform and marking his second-largest online score to date. He nearly pulled off a historic double that same day, finishing runner-up in Adda52’s Mystery Bounty for another ₹3.96 Lakhs.

But Bohra didn’t stop there. He added two more MoneyMaker final table finishes this month—third in #15 The MoneyMaker for ₹7 Lakhs and fifth in #7 for ₹4.44 Lakhs—making it one of the most consistent high-impact months of his career. With one week to go, he’s still very much in the hunt to climb even higher.

Neeraj Sattawat Climbs to #2 on Weekly Charts

Neeraj Sattawat is no stranger to the spotlight. Ranked #11 in the 2024 POY standings, he’s brought that same fire into 2025—and this month, he’s turned up the heat.

After a series of impressive deep runs, including a runner-up finish in #14 The MoneyMaker, third place in The Summit, and sixth in #15 The MoneyMaker last week, Sattawat finally broke through. This week, he shipped #20 The MoneyMaker on PokerBaazi, clinching his first The MoneyMaker bracelet and scoring a hefty ₹15 Lakhs—his third-biggest online score and second-best on PokerBaazi.

Neeraj Sattawat
Neeraj Sattawat

The victory marks his best performance of 2025, his sixth title of the year, and helped him dethrone Advait Rajguru to take the #1 spot on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY leaderboard.

The results speak volumes: Sattawat finished #2 on the weekly charts with ₹16.53 Lakhs in winnings and ₹15.49 Lakhs in profits, and he now ranks #5 on the monthly leaderboard with ₹39.56 Lakhs in winnings and ₹33.48 Lakhs in profits. With form like this, he’s firmly back in the race.

Satyam Verma Finishes #3 on Weekly Charts

Satyam Verma, the 2024 POY #8 and a former The MoneyMaker champion, had been keeping a low profile through the early months of 2025. But this week, the Dhaulpur crusher came roaring back into the spotlight.

On Wednesday, Verma made a deep run in #21 The MoneyMaker, nearly clinching his second bracelet in the marquee series. He ultimately finished runner-up, banking a cool ₹10 Lakhs—his biggest score of 2025 and third-largest career payday.

The heater didn’t stop there. Verma also finished 5th in PokerBaazi’s The Summit for ₹2.44 Lakhs and 9th in #18 The MoneyMaker for another ₹1.32 Lakhs.

These performances combined to give Verma a strong #3 finish on the weekly charts with ₹16.43 Lakhs in winnings and ₹14.86 Lakhs in profits, signalling a fiery return to form.

The online poker world is ablaze this May, promising an unforgettable month for players of all stripes. Leading the charge is PokerBaazi’s ₹1 Crore GTD The MoneyMaker, now in its fifteenth edition and still going strong with a month-long extravaganza. It’s the longest-standing single-flight tournament in India, consistently drawing huge crowds and keeping the excitement levels sky-high.

Not to be outdone, Junglee Poker has turned up the heat with its ₹7.50 Crores GTD Poker Premier League (PPL), renowned for its daily rewards and as a top destination for mid-month action. Meanwhile, Adda52 keeps pace with its high-stakes weekly flagships, and over at Natural8 India, the World Festival 2025 is making history with non-stop thrills for the country’s dedicated players. And for crypto enthusiasts, Coin Poker is hosting the $2.50 Million GTD CSOP Spring Festival, offering blockchain-backed poker fans a piece of the seasonal frenzy.

On the global stage, Indian poker legend Santhosh Suvarna once again made his mark. The two-time WSOP bracelet winner and India’s highest-earning player showcased his skills at the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Montenegro, finishing 15th in Event #2: $25,000 NLH 8-Handed for a commendable $50,500 (~₹43.20 Lakhs), while Alex Foxen claimed the title and $755,000 top prize.

Back home, Thursday’s online grind saw its share of highs and lows. Despite the buzz, several flagship events across PokerBaazi, Adda52, and Junglee Poker reported overlays—an unusual sight for their typically electrifying weekday lineups. Even PokerBaazi’s #15 The MoneyMaker fell short of its guarantee, though it drew a substantial turnout, bolstered by satellite qualifiers adding significant value to the field.

Aditya Kesharwani stole the Thursday spotlight with a breakout performance in PokerBaazi’s #15 The MoneyMaker, seizing his first-ever title in the prestigious series and pocketing ₹15 Lakhs. The Rewa native, on a hot streak since May began, also cashed in the Summit Lite, racking up ₹15.06 Lakhs for the day—the highest earnings across all platforms.

Following closely was Bhanu Prakash KC, narrowly missing his first MoneyMaker title to finish second for ₹10 Lakhs, marking his biggest PokerBaazi score to date. With consistent deep runs, including another final table in The Summit, Bhanu took home ₹12.02 Lakhs for the day. May proved blazing for Mohit Bohra, India’s inaugural National Poker Champion, who came close to a second MoneyMaker title this month, finishing third for ₹7 Lakhs and rounding off Thursday with ₹7.83 Lakhs.

After a runner-up finish in #14 The MoneyMaker, Neeraj Sattawat continued his momentum with back-to-back final tables, placing third in The Summit for ₹4.04 Lakhs and sixth in #15 The MoneyMaker for ₹3.48 Lakhs, banking ₹7.52 Lakhs in total Thursday winnings.

Thursday night saw Manipur’s ‘Denishokram’ break a nine-month title drought with a victorious run in PokerBaazi’s The Summit, clinching a second platform title and his first of 2025, pocketing ₹7.50 Lakhs—the best score of his year. A deep run in The MoneyMaker added another ₹85,000, bringing his Thursday earnings to ₹8.35 Lakhs and pushing his lifetime winnings past ₹50 Lakhs. Delhi’s Kritarth Pant came close to ending his five-week dry spell, finishing runner-up in The Summit for ₹5.24 Lakhs and totaling over ₹6.23 Lakhs for the day across four cashes, including a final table on Adda52.

After raking in ₹14.61 Lakhs on Tuesday and another ₹3.99 Lakhs on Wednesday, Rishabh Gupta kept the momentum going on Natural8 India with a ₹5.12 Lakh score on Thursday for his ninth-place finish in the Thursday Titans 320. That brings his three-day haul to a massive ₹23.7 Lakhs+, pushing his 2025 earnings past ₹51 Lakhs and taking his lifetime tally well beyond the ₹80 Lakhs mark.

Hot on the heels of a breakout ₹13.66 Lakh win in the Bamboo Bounty 30, ‘YouKnowMe!!!!’ added another ₹4.76 Lakhs with a deep 23rd-place finish in Natural8 India’s Bounty Hunters Daily Main 525. With just five scores under their belt this year, they’re already knocking on the ₹30 Lakhs mark.

Ranjeet Negi celebrated a breakthrough in Adda52’s Godfather, securing the elusive title after seven previous final table appearances. The Mumbai pro earned ₹3.71 Lakhs—a well-deserved victory, his third of 2025, showcasing his formidable form. With a final table finish in PokerBaazi’s Summit Lite, his Thursday tally approached ₹4.08 Lakhs. Kovid Saraswat came close to breaking a 12-week title drought, settling for runner-up in the Godfather with ₹2.72 Lakhs, complemented by a deep run in the Rapid Fire for a total of over ₹2.88 Lakhs.

The former The MoneyMaker champion Anand Babu Pallikona dominated Adda52’s Rapid Fire debut, claiming the top spot and ₹2.12 Lakhs in earnings. Following up with deep runs in The MoneyMaker and Godfather, he wrapped up Thursday with a solid ₹2.47 Lakhs total. ‘Calyx420’ almost clinched their first flagship win, following strong finishes in the MMA Monster Stack PKO and Sunday Big Slick with a runner-up prize of ₹1.48 Lakhs on Adda52—a breakout performance and their best score yet.

After months of near-misses, ‘Omshiva’ secured their first flagship title of 2025 in PokerBaazi’s Big PLO-5 for ₹2.07 Lakhs—their second-best site career score. The win ended a five-month title drought and helped recover 10% of their lifetime losses on the platform. Sahil Mahboobani continued his scorching May, finishing runner-up in the Big PLO-5 for ₹1.71 Lakhs and shipping Adda52’s Monster Turbo PKO for ₹96,000, closing Thursday with ₹3.87 Lakhs—his sixth title of 2025 and third this month.

PokerBaazi highlighted ‘Jonoarcrade,’ who won the Summit Lite for ₹2.41 Lakhs, with Anurag Srivastava in second for ₹1.58 Lakhs. ‘nurahahaha’ scored ₹2.25 Lakhs with a win in the Daily Last Chance, while Amit Kumar Jha took home ₹1.48 Lakhs as the runner-up. At Junglee Poker, ‘kahorau’ grabbed the spotlight by winning the Thursday Mini Highroller for ₹1.73 Lakhs.

The day closed with standout wins from seasoned grinders—Sreekanth Narayan, Puneet Jain, Karan Thakker, Anmolraj Singh Chawla, and Stavya Singh—each adding to their impressive resumes.

Here are the Thursday highlights!

Re-entries – 436

Prize Pool – ₹1,00,00,000

Thursday may have been quieter in terms of traffic on PokerBaazi, but what it lacked in volume, it made up for with monster overlays and high-octane action. The platform’s two biggest flagships—the ₹1 Crore GTD #15 The MoneyMaker and ₹50 Lakhs GTD The Summit—once again missed their guarantees, continuing May’s trend of unprecedented value for tournament grinders. In contrast, events like the Summit Lite, Big PLO-5, and Daily Last Chance bucked the pattern by comfortably smashing their guarantees.

Amidst this feast of overlays and high-stakes drama, Aditya ‘KesarDa’ Kesharwani emerged as the biggest winner of the night, delivering a career-highlight performance that reaffirmed his growing status on the Indian MTT scene.

Aditya Kesharwani
Aditya Kesharwani

The Rewa, Madhya Pradesh native has been on a tear since the start of May. He kicked things off with a podium finish in Adda52’s MMA Thunder PKO on May 1, followed by a title win in PokerBaazi’s The Quest just two days later. Three days after that, he shipped Adda52’s The Mint. Clearly, momentum was building. And last night, Kesharwani reached a new peak.

Taking on a daunting 1,026-entry field (590 unique) in The MoneyMaker 105.0, Kesharwani battled for over nine hours in the 7:30 PM showstopper. His grind paid off spectacularly as he clinched his first-ever The MoneyMaker championship bracelet and banked a massive ₹15 Lakhs payday. This marked not just his biggest score of 2025 but also the second-largest cash of his career, behind only his deep run in the inaugural EndBoss.

Kesharwani wasn’t done yet. He also made a deep run in the Summit Lite, finishing 64th for ₹6,324. That pushed his total Thursday earnings to ₹15.06 Lakhs, making him the top earner of the night across all Indian platforms.

Aditya Kesharwani’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India and Junglee Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹4.21 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.25 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #7 | Annual Winnings: ₹54.37 Lakhs

Close behind Kesharwani on the day’s top earners list was the ever-consistent Bhanu ‘Chennaino1’ Prakash KC (opted out of our tracking), the NPS India 2025 Series & Karnataka state leaderboard topper. After a final table appearance in The Pride Lite the previous night, Bhanu returned to the virtual felt on Thursday with serious momentum—and he delivered.

Bhanu Prakash KC
Bhanu Prakash KC

He came agonizingly close to clinching his first The MoneyMaker bracelet in the 105th edition, ultimately finishing runner-up for ₹10 Lakhs—his biggest score yet on PokerBaazi. He didn’t stop there. Bhanu also final-tabled The Summit and cashed in Summit Lite, bringing his total Thursday earnings to a scorching ₹12.02 Lakhs—placing him firmly among the night’s biggest crushers.

> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s #15 The MoneyMaker for ₹10,00,000

> 6th in PokerBaazi’s The Summit for ₹1,96,000

> 93rd in PokerBaazi’s The Summit Lite for ₹6,324

Meanwhile, India’s inaugural National Poker Champion Mohit ‘bullets777’ Bohra continued his red-hot May streak. Over the last two weeks, Bohra has been nearly unstoppable, racking up a runner-up finish in Adda52’s Mystery Bounty, a victory in #4 The MoneyMaker, and final table finishes in Wednesday Wonder and Friday Bounty. He also placed runner-up in The Mint on Adda52 just last week.

Mohit Bohra
Mohit Bohra

Looking to make history by becoming the first double-bracelet winner of The MoneyMaker series this May, Bohra made another deep run in The MoneyMaker 105.0. He came close—very close—but eventually bowed out in third place, banking ₹7 Lakhs. Adding in his other results for the day, Bohra ended Thursday with at least ₹7.83 Lakhs in total winnings, further cementing his status as one of the top performers of the month.

> 3rd in PokerBaazi’s #15 The MoneyMaker for ₹7,00,000

Mohit Bohra’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India and Junglee Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹5.02 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.53 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #6

The final table of The MoneyMaker 105.0 was stacked with familiar names, including Aayush ‘Quads2810’ Pandey (4th for ₹5.70 Lakhs), the #14 The MoneyMaker runner-up Neeraj ‘Dattebayo7’ Sattawat (6th for ₹3.48 Lakhs), Inaka ‘p10babu’ Chisi (7th for ₹2.70 Lakhs) and PokerBaazi Team Pro Zarvan ‘MomSaid5Bet’ Tumboli (8th for ₹1.95 Lakhs).

Even with all the excitement, The MoneyMaker 105.0 carried a sizeable overlay of ₹10.78 Lakhs, coming up short of its ₹1 Crore guarantee. But for players, that translated to incredible value. With a ₹10K buy-in, the event paid the top 152 places, with the minimum cash set at ₹18,000—nearly double the entry fee.

And remember, this was just Edition #15. With 16 more MoneyMakers still to come in May, PokerBaazi’s month-long mega grind continues to deliver both prestige and payout potential. From breakthrough wins to dream run payouts, the series is turning into one of the biggest value-fests of the year. And judging by how the first half has played out, the second half promises even more fireworks on India’s biggest poker stage.

The Summit – 50 Lakhs GTD

Re-entries – 174

Prize Pool – 50,00,000

After a relatively subdued Wednesday, Thursday brought renewed energy to the virtual felts of PokerBaazi. While headliner events like the 1 Crore GTD #15 The MoneyMaker and the 50 Lakhs GTD The Summit missed their guarantees, there was no shortage of action—or opportunity. Other Flagships like Summit Lite, the always-reliable Daily Last Chance, and the action-packed Big PLO-5 comfortably cleared their marks, hinting at a shift in momentum.

But the spotlight, as always on Thursdays, was squarely on The Summit—and it did not disappoint. The 8 PM primetime showdown served up some of the night’s fiercest poker, culminating in a breakthrough victory for ‘Denishokram’, a Manipur-based grinder and long-time PokerBaazi regular.

Playing on the platform since April 2018, ‘Denishokram’ last tasted gold in the BSS SuperStack back in July 2024. After a nine-month title drought, they returned in dominant fashion. Outlasting a stacked 452-entry field (278 unique) across a grueling 8 hours and 47 minutes, the Manipur crusher clinched their second PokerBaazi title—and their first of 2025—along with a sizzling 7.50 Lakhs payday, their second-best career score and best of the year.

The heater didn’t stop there. While deep in The Summit, ‘Denishokram’ was also carving through the field in #15 The MoneyMaker, eventually placing 18th for 85,000, pushing their Thursday earnings to a stellar 8.35 Lakhs—making them one of the top winners across all Indian platforms for the day. The scores also took their lifetime platform earnings past 50 Lakhs and helped them recover 25% of their previous losses on PokerBaazi—momentum, meet redemption.

Denishokram’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: 57.32 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #1

Delhi’s Kritarth ‘AgentJack’ Pant, a familiar face in the winner’s circle, who last shipped the BSS SuperStack in April, was gunning for his fourth title of the year and looking to snap a five-week title drought. He came heartbreakingly close, entering The Summit twice and grinding his way to a hard-fought runner-up finish, banking a healthy 5.24 Lakhs for his efforts.

Kritarth Pant

But Pant didn’t stop there. He fired across the felt with full force, notching up four additional scores, including a fifth-place finish in Adda52’s Thursday Thunder for 43,908, taking his total Thursday haul north of 6.23 Lakhs.

> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s The Summit for 5,24,000

> 5th in Adda52’s Thursday Thunder for 43,908

> 9th in Adda52’s Godfather for 30,926

> 13th in PokerBaazi’s Big PLO-5 for 13,453

> 56th in Adda52’s Rapid Fire for 11,079* (6,100 in bounties)

Kritarth Pant’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52 and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: 3.05 Crores | Lifetime Profits: 1.02 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #3

The Summit final table itself was a minefield of seasoned crushers & in-form phenoms like Wednesday’s #14 The MoneyMaker runner-up Neeraj ‘Dattebayo7’ Sattawat (3rd for 4.04 Lakhs), Shivam ‘daddyaddy’ Kumar Dubey (4th for 2.40 Lakhs), NPS Series leaderboard crusher & last night’s #15 The MoneyMaker runner-up Bhanu ‘Chennaino1’ Prakash KC (6th for 1.96 Lakhs), and Tuesday’s The Endeavour Lite & Big PLO-5 champion Mohit ‘thejoker’ Mehta (7th for 1.53 Lakhs).

Despite the star power, The Summit offered one of the juiciest overlays of the night, missing its 50 Lakhs guarantee by a staggering 10.69 Lakhs—an overlay of over 21%. That added value was a windfall for grinders, with the top 71 finishers each walking away with at least 25,000—a 2.5x return on the 10,000 buy-in. With The MoneyMaker continuing its 31-day run and Thursday night serving up such incredible value and fireworks, May is shaping up to be one of the most action-packed months Indian poker has ever seen.

It’s becoming clearer by the day—Adda52 has found its groove again. With overlays popping up like unexpected treats, the platform has turned into a goldmine of value for any grinder willing to put in the hours. As India’s longest-running poker platform and now firmly the second-largest in daily tournament offerings (behind only PokerBaazi), Adda52 is making a hard push to reassert its place in the online poker pecking order.

Thursday night was no exception, and all eyes were on the ₹20 Lakhs GTD Godfather—a flagship that never fails to bring the heat. A fired-up field of 365 entries (153 unique) clashed in what turned out to be one of the most intense mid-week showdowns in recent weeks.

When the dust settled, it was Mumbai-based pro Ranjeet ‘Rj147’ Negi who rose from the carnage, claiming his first-ever Godfather title after seven final table finishes in the event. This win was a long time coming—and he made it count, banking ₹3.71 Lakhs for his efforts.

Ranjeet Negi
Ranjeet Negi

Negi had been riding momentum since his victory in PokerBaazi’s Big PLO-5 just nine days ago. Thursday’s triumph marked his third title of 2025, third-biggest score of the year, and 12th-highest career cash—a powerful reminder of what he’s capable of when locked in.

But he wasn’t done yet. Negi also final-tabled PokerBaazi’s The Summit Lite, finishing eighth for ₹36,839 and pushing his Thursday tally just shy of ₹4.08 Lakhs.

> 1st in Adda52’s Godfather for ₹3,71,112

> 8th in PokerBaazi’s Summit Lite for ₹15,165

Hot on his heels was none other than Kovid’ fzzfzz’ Saraswat, a poker stalwart and the PSL Season 6 Goa Gators captain. Coming off a fifth-place finish in PokerBaazi’s #6 The MoneyMaker last week, Saraswat was chasing his first title in 12 weeks, his last coming in The Summit back in February.

Kovid Saraswait
Kovid Saraswait

He came heartbreakingly close in the Godfather, finishing runner-up for ₹2.72 Lakhs, just missing out on adding the prestigious title to his resume. Saraswat also posted a 42nd place finish in Adda52’s Rapid Fire, collecting ₹16,207, and wrapped up his night with over ₹2.88 Lakhs in total earnings—a strong outing that reinforced his position as a consistent big-stage contender.

> 2nd in Adda52’s Godfather for ₹2,72,028

> 42nd in Adda52’s Rapid Fire for ₹16,207* (₹10,674 in bounties)

Kovid Saraswat’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹6.23 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.94 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #1 | Annual Winnings: ₹80.36 Lakhs | Annual Profit: ₹32.41 Lakhs

The Godfather final table was loaded with high-calibre players right down the line, including the recent Adda52 Millions fourth-place finisher Arun ‘runyrules’ Sriram (3rd for ₹1.99 Lakhs), Wednesday’s Head Hunter champion Shreyansh ‘halifax7701’ Sharma (4th for ₹1.46 Lakhs), Ashish ‘lazyfish’ Kumar (5th for ₹1.07 Lakhs), Deveshwar ‘DeveshwarRaj’ Raj (6th for ₹78,528), and the ever-dangerous Avneesh ‘IamAM’ Munjal (7th for ₹57,561).

Echoing a broader trend seen recently, the ₹5,750 buy-in Godfather fell notably short of its guarantee, leaving a significant ₹1.75 Lakhs in overlays for the players to enjoy – an increase in added value. For the players who cashed, this meant some truly insane value. The top 55 finishers got paid, with min-cashes starting at ₹11,774 – more than double the buy-in. With incredible value like this regularly on offer and Adda52 not pulling any punches with its beefed-up schedule, India’s longest-serving online poker platform’s summer grind is hitting a very exciting stride.

Final Table Results

  1. Ranjeet ‘rj147’ Negi – ₹3,71,112

Adda52’s new era of tournament aggression is in full swing—and Thursday night’s debut edition of the ₹20 Lakhs GTD Rapid Fire proved exactly why the platform has solidified its position as India’s #2 poker destination. With rivals still recalibrating in the post-GST landscape, Adda52 has been quick to plug the gaps, doubling down on aggressive guarantees, improved formats, and a noticeable upswing in daily traffic. Sure, overlays haven’t vanished, but the rising turnout signals that the strategy is working—and if this keeps up, the gap between Adda52 and PokerBaazi could narrow faster than expected.

While Thursdays have traditionally belonged to the iconic Godfather, the real fireworks this week came from Rapid Fire, Adda52’s brand-new bounty-infused, multi-flight MTT. Designed for speed & high volatility spread across three starting flights and culminating in a tense Day 2 finale at 10 PM. With 601 entries (317 unique), the numbers came in a bit under par, resulting in a healthy overlay—and extra value for the field. Seventy-three players advanced to Day 2, all already in the money but with their eyes set on the biggest spoils.

At the end of this rollercoaster ride, it was Goa’s veteran pro Anand ‘anand1895’ Babu Pallikona who stood tallest. A former The MoneyMaker champion, Pallikona added yet another trophy to his name by conquering the first-ever Rapid Fire. Staying composed in the face of fast-paced chaos, he pulled off a clinical win to bag ₹2.12 Lakhs (including ₹19,060 in bounties)—his second-best score of 2025 and a fitting follow-up to his The Pride victory earlier this month.

Anandbabu Pallikona
Anandbabu Pallikona

But Pallikona didn’t stop there. He turned Thursday into a personal poker showcase, deep running in PokerBaazi’s #15 The MoneyMaker and Adda52’s Godfather, collectively amassing over ₹2.47 Lakhs for the day. Quietly consistent and always dangerous, Pallikona continues to prove why he’s one of the sharpest minds in the Indian MTT ecosystem.

> 1st in Adda52’s Rapid Fire for ₹2,12,388* (₹19,060 in bounties)

> 88th in PokerBaazi’s #15 The MoneyMaker for ₹23,000

> 51st in Adda52’s Godfather for ₹11,774

Hot on his heels was site regular ‘Calyx420’, who pushed hard to capture their first flagship title. Already riding high after shipping the MMA Monster Stack PKO and finishing runner-up in the Sunday Big Slick, they were clearly in the zone. Thursday night was nearly the breakout moment, but they had to settle for a runner-up finish worth ₹1.48 Lakhs (₹6,100 in bounties)—their biggest Adda52 score to date.

Calyx420’s Adda52 stats: Site Winnings: ₹5.21 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹4.52 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #1

The final table of Rapid Fire lived up to its name—fast-paced, fierce, and an actual test of the best. A shark tank of top MTT pros battled it out, with Bharat ‘rungooserun’ Vasan continuing his hot streak by finishing third for ₹1.06 Lakhs, days after winning The Endeavour Lite. 2025 POY #5 Advait ‘ronaldinho018’ Rajguru stayed in the title race with a fourth-place finish worth ₹88,581. The stacked final table also featured Avinash ‘aksinha97’ Kumar (5th for ₹72,115), Yash’ Nasse’ Bajpai (6th for ₹65,445), and Ram’ mowgumotu’ Kakkar (8th for ₹38,366).

Despite the electric action, Rapid Fire couldn’t quite dodge the overlay bug, with the ₹3,500 buy-in event falling ₹1.67 Lakhs short of its ₹20 Lakhs guarantee. But for the 73 players who made it to Day 2, that overlay translated into pure value. Even a min-cash was worth ₹4,979, and with the bounty format in play, many padded their paydays significantly along the way. Adda52 is clearly doubling down on its revamped schedule, and the early signs are promising.

Final Table Results (Including Bounties)

  1. Anand ‘anand1895’ Babu Pallikona – ₹2,12,388
  2. Calyx420 – ₹1,47,890
  3. Bharat ‘rungooserun’ Vasan – ₹1,06,335
  4. Advait ‘ronaldinho018’ Rajguru – ₹88,581
  5. Avinash ‘aksinha97’ Kumar – ₹72,115
  6. Yash ‘Nasse’ Bajpai – ₹65,445
  7. GABBARISBACK143 – ₹31,870
  8. Ram ‘mowgumotu’ Kakkar – ₹38,366

Back home, PokerBaazi continues to dominate the online scene with its iconic 1 Crore GTD The MoneyMaker, now running daily for the entire month—only the second time in history that this single-flight tournament is being hosted in such a format. Over at Natural8 India, the stakes soared with the launch of the World Festival 2025 (May 4 – June 10), touted as India’s biggest-ever online tournament series. Meanwhile, Junglee Poker kept up the pressure with its 7.50 Crore GTD Poker Premiere League (PPL), delivering consistent daily leaderboard and MTT action.

With big wins, milestone tournaments, and headline-making updates, this past week packed a full-spectrum poker punch across both live and online arenas.

APPT Cambodia 2025: India Delivers Massive Series with 60 Cashes, 4 Spadies, and Career-Defining Scores

The Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Cambodia 2025 returned for its fourth edition at the NagaWorld Integrated Resort in Phnom Penh, and this year’s 12-day poker festival, held from May 2 to 13, smashed expectations with record-breaking participation. Featuring 68 tournaments and $1.5 Million in guaranteed prize money, the series drew players from across the globe, creating an electric atmosphere throughout.

Riding high after standout performances at Poker Dream 17 Malaysia and APT Taipei 2025, Team India came in strong and made a major statement. The Indian contingent delivered 60 cashes, 34 final table appearances, and six runner-up finishes. It also brought home four Spadie trophies, highlighting the country’s growing dominance on the Asian live circuit.

Somashekar Kurkhepally Headlines With Main Event Runner-Up Finish

The biggest Indian story came from Somashekar Kurkhepally, who produced a career-best performance in Event #40: $1,750 Main Event. Starting the final day as chip leader among six players, Kurkhepally played a near-flawless game and reached heads-up against Vietnam’s Hai Ha Tran. The duo agreed to an equal chop for $155,225 (~1.32 Crores), leaving the trophy and APPT Championship package up for grabs—both eventually claimed by Tran. This score marks Kurkhepally’s career-best live cash, and alongside his second-place finish in Event #30 for $5,245 (~4.47 Lakhs), he topped the Indian earnings chart at APPT Cambodia with $160,470 (~1.37 Crores). This stellar showing makes Kurkhepally our clear “PokerGuru Star of the Week!” He now boasts $296,283 (~2.53 Crores) in total live winnings, ranking him #36 on India’s All-Time Money List.

RDPT Jeju 2025: Siddharth Karia & Pramana Irvan Deliver Standout Indian Performances Amidst Chinese Dominance

The Red Dragon Poker Tour (RDPT) Jeju 2025 wrapped up a ten-day poker spectacle at South Korea’s scenic Landing Casino, running from May 1 to 10. With 3,281 entries and a total prize pool of KR 5.56 Billion (~$392,000), the festival delivered on its promise of high-stakes action and international competition.

As expected, Chinese players dominated the series, capturing 32 of the 39 trophies up for grabs. Yet, Indian players—though fewer in number compared to their APPT Cambodia counterparts—made their presence felt with a pair of impressive runner-up finishes.

Siddharth Karia led the Indian charge with a strong showing in Event #35: KR 1.50M Red Dragon Closer, finishing runner-up behind WSOP bracelet winner Weiran Pu. Karia’s deep run netted him KR 11.76 Million (~7.05 Lakhs), adding to an already promising 2025. The Ahmedabad pro, who has been on an extensive live circuit tour this year with prior scores in Manila and a final table finish at APT Taipei, now has at least eight live cashes in 2025, further reinforcing his rising momentum on the Asian poker scene.

Pramana Iliadi Irvan also posted a commendable series with two cashes, the highlight being his heads-up finish in Event #28: KR 1M 20/20/20 NLH Shot Clock, earning KR 8.32 Million (~5.14 Lakhs). With a total haul of KR 21.47 Million (~12.86 Lakhs), Irvan emerged as the top Indian earner of the series.

Among the overall standouts, Shengfa Huang claimed the largest payday of the festival, taking home KR 360 Million for winning the prestigious Red Dragon Championship, while Yunchao Yu triumphed in the Prestige Super High Roller, bagging KR 209.454 Million.

Just a week after a deep run in the Sunday Showdown 250, Goyal came back swinging. It ranks as his seventh-biggest score on the site and is already his second-highest score of the year.

This latest haul pushes his 2025 earnings to 5.41 Crores, making him the first player to cross the 5 Crore mark this year. He has now extended his lead on the POY leaderboard by over 1.19 Crores, with Anant Purohit in pursuit at 4.22 Crores. Pocket52 to Halt Operations in July Amid Industry-Wide Turmoil

Gameskraft has announced a “strategic pause” on its poker platform Pocket52, marking another major shake-up in India’s embattled real-money gaming (RMG) sector. Citing the heavy impact of the 28% GST on deposits and retrospective tax demands totaling 21,000 Crores, Pocket52 becomes the latest platform to fold under mounting regulatory pressure. All gameplay on Pocket52 will cease by May 30, with the app remaining accessible until July. Gameskraft has assured that player funds are safe, emphasizing that this is not an exit from poker but a reset aimed at building a “best-in-class” experience for the future.

India’s Real-Money Gaming Industry Braces for Supreme Court Verdict on 1.12 Lakh Crore GST Dispute

India’s real-money gaming (RMG) industry is facing its most pivotal legal battle yet as the Supreme Court prepares to rule on the retrospective GST demands that could decide the sector’s future. Over 1.12 Lakh Crores in back taxes have been levied across 70+ platforms, including prominent names like Dream11, GamesKraft, Delta Corp, and Tadka Games 24×7.

At the heart of the matter is a fundamental clash: the government insists that any game involving money qualifies as gambling and is thus subject to a 28% GST on deposits. On the other hand, the industry argues that skill-based games are not gambling and that retroactively taxing deposits is unconstitutional.

Top legal heavyweights such as Abhishek Manu Singhvi and Harish Salve are leading the defense, arguing that the move violates constitutional protections and could cripple a sector projected to generate $5 Billion in annual revenue and supporting over 1 Lakh jobs.

EPT Monte Carlo 2025: Aleksandr Shevliakov Turns €530 Satellite Into €1 Million EPT Main Event Victory Amid Controversy

Russia’s Aleksandr Shevliakov pulled off a dream run at EPT Monte Carlo 2025, turning a modest €530 satellite entry into a staggering €1 Million payday by winning the prestigious €5,300 Main Event. The 37-year-old IT professional from Ljubljana, Slovenia—who describes himself as a “poker hobbyist”—outlasted a 1,195-entry field, capturing his first-ever EPT title in dramatic fashion.

Shevliakov’s run wasn’t without controversy. A final table hand involving Jamil Wakil sparked a heated debate online, with allegations of angle-shooting after Shevliakov eliminated Wakil in 6th place. The question: did Shevliakov act out of turn or not? The unclear sequence lit up Poker Twitter, fueling intense discussions. Further controversy followed when new restrictions were imposed mid-final table concerning RFID chip placement and electronic device usage, following fairness concerns raised by players.

Despite the turbulence, Shevliakov held his nerve, navigating past a stacked final table. He outplayed Poland’s Mariusz Golinski, survived an all-in scare from Enrico Coppola, and clinched victory in a high-stakes heads-up battle with Khossein Kokhestani, which saw massive hands and gutsy folds. His win marks the first EPT Main Event victory for a Russian player outside of Russia in 13 years and more than doubles his previous career-best score of $541,206 from EPT Paris 2023.

From India, Apoorva Goel made a solid deep run, finishing 41st in the near-record field for €17,150 (~16.46 Lakhs), bringing him within striking distance of the 5 Crore live earnings milestone.
