A thrilling Sunday had two high-value events commencing their weeklong run, Spartan Poker’s Final Table Series (FTS) 2.0 and PokerStars India’ MicroMillions!
The first of the eight featured FTS events, the ₹75 Lakhs GTD FTS#2 Kick-Off, was the day’s featured tourney, and it played down to its eight-handed final table with Prakhar Kapoor (2,593,608) bagging the overnight chip lead. The FT starts at 6 PM today, and you can watch the live-stream on the PokerGuru Facebook page.
The biggest Sunday winner was Piyush Goenka, who ended up winning ₹36 Lakhs and the ATOC trophy in the ₹2 Crores GTD ATOC Main Event Finale.
Nitin Arora was another familiar name on the Sunday winner`s list. The four-time Destiny winner shipped the ₹35 Lakhs GTD ATOC 6-Max Championship for ₹8.06 Lakhs. Pranay Chawla championed the ATOC Fast n Furious for ₹3.93 Lakhs.
PokerBaazi’s ₹20 Lakhs GTD BSS#4 SuperStack was taken down by Sandy Lamba for ₹4.20 Lakhs.
PokerGuru Ambassador Ashutosh Balodhi was the last player standing in PokerStars India’s ₹15 Lakhs GTD Sunday Special.

Spartan Poker
Spartan Poker’s much-awaited Final Table Series (FTS) 2.0 is back for its second running. The Day 1 schedule ran three FTS tourneys. The showstopper tourney was the ₹75 Lakhs GTD FTS#2 Kick-Off that clocked in 718 contenders, falling ₹3.20 Lakhs short of the listed guarantee. Closing out the day’s proceedings was the elimination of ‘Redlady’ in ninth place for ₹1.26 Lakhs.
The eight-handed FTS Kick-Off final table is a stacked one that will see Prakhar ‘Prak27’ Kapoor (2,593,608) entering the final day’s play in the chip lead. Arjunn ‘Arjunn Ag’ Agrawal (2,570,700) and Neha ‘Nkush’ Saini (2,076,129) will commence the FT play with the next top stacks.
Rounding out the bottom half of the line-up is the winningest player of 2020, Young Gun Gaurav ‘mozzie17’ Sood (1,838,678), former Millionaire champion Arjun ‘lol this guy’ Pasricha (1,738,172), Amit ‘Timaerom’ More (1,652,288), PokerGuru Ambassador Gokul ‘Super Kings’ Raj (1,172,721) and Pulkit ‘MAAHI MAAREGAA’ Mehra (717,704). The other FTS tourney, the ₹11 Lakhs GTD FTS#3, was championed by the former Millionaire Main Event winner Anurag ‘TheDarkKnightReturns’ Srivastava, who won ₹2.10 Lakhs after striking a heads-up deal with ‘siddarthahuja6969’ (runner-up for ₹2.05 Lakhs). The ₹1,650 entry buy-in tourney registered 894 entries, collecting a profitable ₹13.41 Lakhs prize pool.
The series-opener ₹8 Lakhs GTD FTS#1 ran from 6 PM to 2:57 AM, wrangling in a smashing 1,037 entries. Saransh ‘iammrmeeseeks’ Garg took down the title to win the lion`s share of the ₹10.37 Lakhs prize pool worth ₹1.97 Lakhs. Ajay ‘AceJack15’ Harjani placed runner-up for ₹1.22 Lakhs.
PokerStars India
It was an eventful Sunday on PokerStars India, with the site bringing back the third edition of its micro-low stakes MicroMillions series. However, the day`s biggest draw was the ₹15 Lakhs GTD Sunday Special that reverted back to its Limited Edition format last night. Starting at 5 PM, the ₹5,500 entry buy-in event dragged in 259 entries, overlaying ₹2.05 Lakhs. PokerGuru Ambassador Ashutosh ‘Msnugget’ Balodhi won the tourney to win ₹2.87 Lakhs, with Pratibh ‘Pratibh Saluja’ Saluja placing runner-up for ₹2.12 Lakhs. The former Diwali Rush Main Event champion now has ₹2.41 Crores in recorded online winnings.

The eight-day-long MicroMillions also took flight last night. Offering a hefty ₹1 Crore in prize pool guarantees, the 46-event series kicked off at 4 PM. Day 1 of the series featured four events, and leading the charge was the ₹5 Lakhs GTD Micro Millions – 02 Sunday Special (L). The ₹1,650 entry buy-in tourney registered 292 entries, filling in ₹62,000 in overlays. Tapan ‘tweedu_taps’ Mansotra took down the event for ₹87,366, following a heads-up deal with ‘vjTILTing’ (runner-up for ₹77,366).
Shubham ‘backchod launda’ Agarwal (Won ₹3 Lakhs GTD MicroMillions – 01 Warm-up for ₹64,909), Nikunj ‘livelynik2’ Doshi (Won ₹2 Lakhs GTD MicroMillions – 04 Ultrasonic for ₹57,153) and ‘beginner1258’ (Won ₹3 Lakhs GTD MicroMillions – 03 Sunday Storm for ₹53,316) won the other MicroMillions events on Sunday.

PokerBaazi runs the ₹35 Lakhs GTD Baazi Super Sunday (BSS) each Sunday, a series of six tourneys guaranteeing ₹35 Lakhs in prize money between them and ₹1 Lakh in leaderboard prizes. Headlining the series was the ₹20 Lakhs GTD BSS#4 SuperStack that logged in 388 runners, overlaying ₹60,000. After eight hours of intense play, Sandy ‘Ziigmund’ Lamba emerged as the victor and took home ₹4.20 Lakhs in first-place prize money. The mystery user ‘satsingh’ came in second for ₹2.94 Lakhs. Lamba also placed ninth in PokerStars India’s ₹5 Lakhs GTD Micro Millions – 02 Sunday Special (L) for ₹7,921 and currently sits on ₹2.2 Crores in lifetime winnings (₹70.80 Lakhs in profits).
The site, as usual, hosted two ₹5 Lakhs GTD tourneys, the BSS#5 MegaStack and BSS#3 MonsterStack 6-Max.
The BSS#5 MegaStack saw Pranav ‘pranavpoker’ Khandalkar traverse a field of 213 entries to capture the lion’s share of the ₹5.32 Lakhs prize pool worth ₹1.25 Lakhs. ‘Deepakpret’ finished runner-up for ₹87,916.
Starting three hours before the BSS#5 MegaStack, the ₹2,750 buy-in BSS#3 MonsterStack 6-Max found a winner in Bharat ‘Thinkfloyd’ Vasan, who pocketed ₹1.22 Lakhs, while ‘Amev05’ took home ₹85,920 in second-place prize money.

The Adda52 Tournament of Champions (ATOC) series is on its last legs, and the star attraction of the series, the ₹2 Crores GTD ATOC Main Event Finale, played down to a champion last night. Piyush ‘pokerpassion’ Goenka, who had satt-ied his way into the tourney, converted that small investment into a career-defining ₹36 Lakhs payday! Goenka locked horns with Ankit ‘starnaruto’ Saurabh in the heads-up finale, with the latter netting an equally impressive ₹25 Lakhs payout. Goenka now has ₹57.39 Lakhs in recorded online winnings.
‘XXX2837’ (3rd for ₹17 Lakhs) and Kshitij ‘kmk1127’ Kucheria (4th for ₹11.85 Lakhs) were the only other players to secure eight-figure FT payouts. Raman ‘thuscame’ Gujral (5th for ₹8.78 Lakhs), PokerGuru Ambassador Ratul ‘riverking021’ Steves (6th for ₹6.47 Lakhs), Gautam ‘aa_kk’ Sachdeva (7th for ₹4.73 Lakhs), and ATOC Mini Main Finale champion Surbhit ‘grovahova’ Grover (8th for ₹3.54 Lakhs) FT-ed the event.

Also finding mention among the ATOC trophy winners of the day was the four-time Destiny champion Nitin ‘bigbluffs’ Arora. Arora topped the 550-entry field in Adda52’s ₹35 Lakhs GTD ATOC 6-Max Championship to clinch the trophy and top prize of ₹8.06 Lakhs. A heads-up deal ensured the runner-up, Himanshu ‘pirateking7’ Arora, a cash prize worth ₹6.56 Lakhs.
The ₹15 Lakhs GTD ATOC Fast n Furious pulled in 700 participants, surpassing its advertised guarantee by ₹75,014. Pranay ‘setmeup’ Chawla shipped the event for ₹3.93 Lakhs, after besting Karan ‘Reg_Slayer’ Radia (runner-up for ₹2.28 Lakhs) heads-up.
The ₹8 Lakhs GTD ATOC Orpheus was taken down by the mystery reg ‘pokraj’ for ₹2.18 Lakhs, with Debneil ‘noobneil’ Mukherjee placing runner-up for ₹1.31 Lakhs. The event recorded 391 entries, collecting ₹8.79 Lakhs in the prize pool.

Day 2 began at 10:15 PM on Sunday, with 206 unique survivors returning to contend for the grand prize. Only 197 runners finished in the money.
Sreekanth ‘n0thing’ Narayan was eliminated in 198th place (money bubble), assuring the remaining a min-cash of ₹26,200.
The grind went on till 5:37 AM today, where climbing all the way to the top was a relatively lesser-known player Piyush ‘pokerpassion’ Goenka. Goenka defeated Ankit ‘starnaruto’ Saurabh in the heads-up play to win the first-ever ATOC Main Event Trophy, a Panerai Black Seal watch, and a career-changing ₹36 Lakhs in prize money.
Making this victory even more commendable was the fact Goenka had won his seat in the tourney (Day 1A) through an online satellite. He now has ₹57.39 Lakhs in lifetime scores with 41.27 Lakhs in net profits across domestic sites.
The runner-up, Saurabh, also picked up his single-largest score worth ₹25 Lakhs. His recorded online tally now stands at ₹36.84 Lakhs.
Adda52 streamed the Main Event final table cards-up across its social media platforms with ace commentator Aditya Wadhwani and Adda52 streamer Shivam Jain calling the action. The eventual winner, Goenka, later joined the stream to share a quick winner`s byte.
