In the hunt for his first title in almost two months, Atishay Samuel busted that bubble by taking down two tournaments back-to-back. He championed PokerStars India’s Bounty Builder HR (₹2.40 Lakhs) before winning Adda52’s Voyager (₹61,716) a few hours later. He made another five ITM finishes, rounding up a cool ₹3.27 Lakhs in Tuesday winnings.

Sanish Chhabra crossed over a five-week-long title drought with a victory march in Adda52’s The Mint. He won the Tuesday title for ₹2.85 Lakhs after striking a heads-up deal with Deep Patel (2nd for ₹2.77 Lakhs). Chhabra raked in almost ₹3 Lakhs in Tuesday winnings across three deep runs, storming past ₹5 Crores in tracked online winnings!

Sunday`s BSS SuperStack champion Rising Star Aman Parakh pulled off another scintillating run on PokerBaazi. He cashed three events on the site, most prominently winning the (7-Max) SPRINT for the second time yesterday for 1.61 Lakhs – almost hitting the 5 Crores mark in online winnings!

Spartan Poker’s Monday flagship, the ReCharge, was won by Ashutosh Kumar for a 1.74 Lakhs payday. Uttam Kumar Sinha took home a runner-up payday of 1.15 Lakhs.

This week’s edition of PokerBaazi’s The Big Show was claimed by the anonymous player ‘vanillaice21’ who outran 288 others to net a winner’s paycheque of 1.66 Lakhs. Akash Punshi came second for 1.16 Lakhs.

Sunday’s WPT Mega Stack fourth-place finisher Pradip Ghosh championed the 7 Lakhs GTD WPT Table For 6, adding 1.51 Lakhs to his name following a three-way deal with Peushup Eugene (2nd for 1.37 Lakhs) and ‘arushiagarwal’ (3rd for 1.16 Lakhs).

The Daily SPRINT culminated in a three-way deal that crowned ‘ForeverBhalu’ the winner for 1.09 Lakhs. ‘silentkid’ (2nd for 79,970), Rohit ‘mrblue1205’ Malhotra (3rd for 78,370) banked the other top payouts, courtesy of the deal.

Navaneesha P was the biggest winner on PokerStars India. He captured the Battle Royale title for 90,617 after defeating Ankit Saurabh (2nd for 82,179) in the heads-up showdown.

Ashutosh ‘trailblazera’ Kumar (opted out of our tracking) raced past the competition to collect the 1.73 Lakhs up-top after defeating Uttam ‘chinunew’ Kumar Sinha (2nd for 1.15 Lakhs) in the heads-up play.

Unnikrishnan ‘parzival74’ Nair captured the 4.5 Lakhs GTD DeepStack for 90,225, with the user ‘CheckArm’ placing runner-up for 59,985. The win was a much-needed one for Nair, who sits on losses over 12 Lakhs! The 1,100 entry buy-in event just about broke event after logged in 450 entrants, and the top 39 places boarded the money bus.

Headlining the Monday schedule was the only WPT trophy event of the day, the 15 Lakhs GTD WPT Monday Feature 6-Max. The former The Millionaire champion PokerGuru Ambassador Naresh ’emperor457′ Veeravalli topped the 421-entry strong field to win 3.72 Lakhs and his career-first WPT trophy. The win ended an over three-month-long dry spell for Veeravalli, fetching him his first title at the ongoing WPT Online series (his third overall). Sunday’s WPT Independence Day Special third-place finisher Sandeep ’40chor’ Bhatnagar placed runner-up for 2.25 Lakhs.

It’s been an intense week for online poker players, and Friday was a grand affair for players with Spartan Poker’s IOPC July Edition (July 11 – August 1), Adda52’s Nano Poker Series (NPS) (July 15 – 25), and the Baazi Grinder Series (July 12 – 18) running side-by-side.

The IOPC completed an action-packed Day 6 with eight events on the schedule that included starting flights for the IOPC United and D’Lite. Saroj Mehta was the day`s breakout winner as she took down the ₹50 Lakhs GTD IOPC #35 Friday Spotlight for ₹9.75 Lakhs. Rohit Agrawal (2nd for ₹6.19 Lakhs) & Vivek Rughani (3rd for ₹4.64 Lakhs) secured podium finishes in the event.

Kunal Patni, who returned to Adda52 as the brand’s game ambassador earlier this week, is officially on a heater! The former banker championed The Ballers for ₹5.63 Lakhs while also making top 10 finishes in two more events to collect over ₹6.49 Lakhs. PokerGuru Ambassador Mithun Mahesh finished runner-up for ₹3.41 Lakhs.

Guneet Kwatra outran a 184-strong field in PokerBaazi’s The Weekly Highroller to win the Friday night flagship for the third time for ₹4.58 Lakhs. Poker coach Abhishek Goindi, one of two players to win two IOPC titles at the ongoing series, placed runner-up for ₹3.21 Lakhs.

Young Gun Anuj Yadav championed the IOPC #34 Friday Prime for ₹3.51 Lakhs, beating Animesh Sehgal (2nd for ₹2.01 Lakhs) heads-up to move up to #2 on the IOPC leaderboard standings.

Former Destiny winner Siddharth Gangwar posted several ITM scores, starting with a third-place finish in the IOPC #34 Friday Prime for ₹1.42 Lakhs. Gangwar’s Friday winnings touched ₹1.90 Lakhs, pushing him across the ₹1 Crore mark in lifetime winnings.

The IOPC #28 Thursday Prime champion Rajat Sharma bested the 198-entry field in PokerStars India’s Uppercut MAGIC Edition to win ₹1.36 Lakhs. This, along with a fourth-place finish in PokerBaazi’s The Weekly Highroller for ₹1.53 Lakhs, earned Sharma a collective ₹2.89 Lakhs last night.

The first-ever National Poker Series Main Event runner-up finisher Ashwini Vishwakarma had final tabled three events already this week. Last night, Vishwakarma increased the count to four FT scores as he bagged his first major title on PokerBaazi in the Grinders#27 Highroller, scoring a ₹1.50 Lakhs payday.

Nirmal Sankhla (Won IOPC #33 for ₹1.58 Lakhs), Sandeep Bhatnagar (Won IOPC #32 for ₹1.11 Lakhs), and Bhavit Jain (Won the Running Hot for ₹91,902) were the other top Friday winners.

The biggest-ever IOPC completes a week today on Spartan Poker and Day 6 of the series had eight events running, six of them playing down to a winner.

The ₹50 Lakhs GTD IOPC#35 Friday Spotlight was the day`s featured event, not just on Spartan Poker but also across all poker sites. The event registered 495 runners resulting in an overlay shortfall worth ₹50,000. Starting out at 9.30 PM, the action went on till 6.16 AM, where closing out a long and arduous grind with a second IOPC title in his grasp was the IOPC Monday Prime champion, Saroj ‘Pepperchino’ Mehta. The player picked up the day’s single-biggest score and a personal-best ₹9.75 Lakhs after vanquishing the FTS #17 Highroller winner Rohit ‘ToTheStreets’ Agrawal (runner-up for ₹6.19 Lakhs) in the heads-up play. Vivek ‘Pokerbatman27’ Rughani finished third for ₹4.64 Lakhs.

Young Gun Anuj ‘‘Tittoo Tauji’ Yadav might have taken some time off poker, but he’s made a strong comeback recently. The 25-year-old was among the standout performers of Friday as he toppled a 2,458-player field to win the ₹15 Lakhs GTD IOPC #34 Friday Prime for ₹3.51 Lakhs. Animesh ‘animess’ Sehgal finished runner-up for ₹2.01 Lakhs.

The ₹10 Lakhs GTD IOPC #36 All Rounder – Deepstack registered a smashing ₹12.24 Lakhs prize pool from an entry field of 612 runners. The mystery player ‘Krifard’ fired two bullets before taking down the title for ₹1.92 Lakhs. He struck a three-way deal on the final table with ‘kartik90’ (2nd for ₹1.62 Lakhs) and Rishab ‘NoChanc3’ Malik (3rd for ₹1.44 Lakhs). The champion ‘Krifard’ now has ₹8.59 Lakhs in recorded winnings on Spartan Poker.

The second of the six IOPC marquee events, the ₹1.50 Crore GTD IOPC United, completed Day 1B last night. The flight ran from 7 PM to 11.38 PM, with a starting field of 453 entrants coming down to 58 survivors by the time the play halted. The IOPC January Millionaire United champion, Young Gun Siddhanth ‘PluRibu$’ Kripalani, has placed himself for another deep run in the event as he bagged the end-of-day chip lead with 201,581. The four-time Destiny champion Nitin ‘Demogorgon’ Arora (188,112) and the IOPC Blaze of Glory winner Harshad ‘omglukbox’ Barve (185,233) rounded out the top three stacks of the day.

The event has registered 972 entries already, with three more starting flights to go before Day 2 on Sunday (10 PM).

The ₹25 Lakhs GTD IOPC – D’ Lite logged in 773 entries on Day 1C, and only 64 players survived through to Day 2. Young Gun Shardul ‘Faucet Failure’ Parthasarathi (333,517), PokerGuru Ambassador Ashutosh ‘SpewMonkey’ Balodhi (264,733), and Prateek ‘praman11’ Ajmani (261,395) topped the survivors.

Counting the 1,870 participants (Day 1A – 1,013, Day 1B – 857) from the two previous starting flights, the event has filled in 2,643 entries already, getting over halfway there on the 5,000 entries it needs to break even. Two more starting flights are scheduled to run before Day 2 on Sunday (10 PM).
