Samyak Sethi, Aditya Sushant, Vikhyat Ahlawat & Gaurav Sood Headline Sunday’s Winner Circle

The final Sunday of March saw a slight dip in activity – a natural cooldown as regulars returned from PokerBaazi’s Night of Glory and flagship events, including those on Adda52 and Spartan Poker, were canceled. Ledgers being reset across platforms due to the end of the financial year 2023-24 also influenced turnout. Yet, dedicated grinders found their havens: PokerBaazi maintained its full Baazi Super Sunday (BSS) schedule, and Junglee Poker kept the stakes high with its ₹2.50 Crores GTD PPL Series 2: Bounty Builder Series (BBS).

The reset is just the prelude to a massive April on PokerBaazi! Starting April 1, The MoneyMaker Mania kicks off – a 30-day poker marathon with a staggering ₹1 Crore GTD each day and a chance to win one of 30 coveted bracelets. It’s a month where fortunes will be made and poker dreams realized!

Fresh from his Tuesday Smash win, Samyak Sethi blazed through the (1000X) BSS SuperStack, snatching a massive ₹6.57 Lakhs – his sixth title of 2024 and second-biggest PokerBaazi payday this year! He didn’t stop there, adding two more cashes for a total Sunday haul of ₹6.96 Lakhs, making him the day’s top earner. Karan Pantola nearly kept pace, his runner-up finish in the BSS SuperStack netting him ₹5.05 Lakhs (his second-best score ever). Two more cashes pushed his winnings to ₹5.31 Lakhs.

Poker icon Aditya Sushant lit up the night, conquering the BSS Big Bounty for ₹3.19 Lakhs. He ruthlessly doubled down with a 4th place finish in the BSS Highroller, adding another ₹2.10 Lakhs for a total takeaway of ₹5.41 Lakhs. Close behind was Ramji Kishore G. His recent runner-up finish in NPS#108 SPRINT seemed to fuel his fire, as he earned ₹2.35 Lakhs in the Big Bounty and ₹2.44 Lakhs total on the night.

Vikhyat Ahlawat ended a two-month title drought in emphatic style, dominating the BSS Highroller for ₹4.81 Lakhs, then adding two more scores to reach ₹5.02 Lakhs in winnings. ‘ksc7’ refused to concede easily, battling to the runner-up spot for a ₹3.64 Lakhs payday.

The three-time POY winner, Young Gun Gaurav Sood, continues his relentless pursuit of an unprecedented fourth POY crown. His victory in the BSS Super Value added ₹3.04 Lakhs to his haul, with another cash pushing him to ₹3.38 Lakhs and taking his career earnings past ₹21 Crores! ‘Ninii,’ last year’s 1000X#16 Monday Prime champion, staged a comeback with a second-place finish in the BSS Super Value for ₹2.33 Lakhs.

Other BSS champions crowned include Mukesh Surana (Won 6-Max BSS SPRINT for ₹1.54 Lakhs), ‘anujr’ (Won BSS Kickoff for ₹89,150), and ‘Whodahellru’ (Won PLO-5 BSS for ₹80,932).

‘IveyPhil’ sizzled on Natural8 India, landing a 9th place finish in the 215 Sunday Bounty Big Dance for ₹3.60 Lakhs. ’00pSiEeEs999′ proved their mettle, topping the Zodiac Rat Opener for ₹67,340 and placing third in the Bounty Hunters Turbo Special ₹57,448, amassing ₹1.25 Lakhs on Sunday.

Junglee Poker’s BBS#9 Sunday Special Knockout saw a dominant display by ‘ggboss,’ who walked away with a whopping ₹3.16 Lakhs (₹1.58 Lakhs in bounties)! ‘tagame5398551’ fought bravely but settled for runner-up and a ₹1.82 Lakhs (₹25,801 in bounties) prize.

Chhabra’s Godfather triumph was a long time coming. After nine final table appearances earlier this year, he finally etched his name on the trophy. Outlasting a reg-infested field of 414 entries (197 unique) in the 8 PM headliner, he battled for nine gruelling hours before striking a heads-up deal and securing the night’s top prize of ₹4.01 Lakhs. Interestingly, this wasn’t his first dance with the Godfather final table; he had reached it five times previously, finally etching his name on the crown this time.

While the Godfather battle raged, Chhabra simultaneously fought for another major title in PokerBaazi’s Summit HighRoller. Firing two bullets in the 8:30 PM tournament, he came agonizingly close to a double-win but ultimately secured a podium finish and a payout of ₹2.26 Lakhs.
