PokerBaazi’s National Poker Series India 2024 Sets New Records with ₹50+ Crores in Guarantees & 453 Medals to Be Won (March 3 – 24)
PokerBaazi, a leading name in India’s online poker landscape, has officially unveiled the schedule for the highly anticipated National Poker Series India (NPS) 2024, often referred to as the “Olympics of Indian Poker.” The series, now entering its fourth edition, is set to unfold from March 3 to March 24, 2024, with a designated rest day on March 16.
Marking a new milestone in its history, NPS 2024 is shaping up to be an extraordinary series. It boasts an unprecedented prize pool exceeding ₹50 Crores, spread across 150 tournaments. Furthermore, 453 coveted NPS Medals are up for grabs, making it the most extensive tournament series ever hosted in India.
In response to the recent implementation of a 28% GST on player deposits, PokerBaazi has taken a player-centric approach by absorbing this additional tax burden, demonstrating their steadfast commitment to their players. Simplifying the transaction process, the platform now operates with just two wallets – ‘Unused Balance’ and ‘Withdrawable Balance.’ This move, coupled with the launch of the largest National Poker Series to date, underscores PokerBaazi’s dedication to fostering a player-friendly environment and propelling the growth of poker in India. This initiative is particularly notable in a time when other platforms are reducing their offerings.
In a first for the series, the NPS 2024 will feature ten tournaments, each carrying a minimum guarantee of ₹1 Crore. This inclusion not only heightens the excitement for participants but also reflects PokerBaazi’s commitment to providing an unmatched poker experience, reinforcing its position as a frontrunner in expanding poker’s popularity and accessibility in India.

About National Poker Series
The National Poker Series was first announced in 2020 to provide a national-level tournament experience for poker aficionados at accessible buy-ins. PokerBaazi CEO Navkiran Singh unveiled the NPS Republic Day, marking a new era in Indian poker. While initially conceptualized as a live tournament series, the inaugural NPS had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It eventually debuted in a digital format.

In its first digital edition, held in the summer of 2021, the NPS guaranteed an unprecedented ₹15 Crores across 64 tournaments, with ₹1 Crore in leaderboard bonuses. A first in India, all top three finishers in each tournament were awarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals, making the inaugural series a truly historic event.
In 2022, NPS upped the game by dishing out ₹18.50 Crores in guaranteed prizes spread across 84 tournaments and awarded 252 medals. The final tables of the most prestigious events, including the NPS Main Event, NPS Golden Rush, and NPS Super Highroller, were held at the PokerBaazi LIVE poker room aboard Casino Majestic Pride in Goa.
After a thrilling January that saw PokerBaazi host two exciting stops, 1000X Series and PokerBaazi Classics, the current February offers, like the ongoing PLO Championship and ₹1 Crore GTD Value Boost, NPS India 2023 is, guaranteed to take the tournament action to new heights.
So, get ready to sharpen your skills and test your luck against the best players in the game. The stage is set, the cards are shuffled, and the stakes are high. Let the games begin!
