He filled in ₹7.55 Lakhs in total winnings to storm back into the top five of the annual leaderboard rankings. The former The Millionaire Lite champion Sreekanth Narayan finished runner-up for 4.97 Lakhs.

Adda52 loyalist Ravindra Arikeri made the victory march in Godfather, winning the Thursday flagship for the second time last night for 6.20 Lakhs (his biggest score of 2022).

The #BB5 MoneyMaker finalist Shubham Agarwal was another breakout winner with six ITM finishes (including a title win) collectively worth 5.69 Lakhs – enough to get him past 50 Lakhs in annual winnings. He notably placed third in PokerBaazi’s PBC#10 The Summit (3.50 Lakhs) and won Spartan Poker’s FCS #6 High (1.85 Lakhs).

PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish Ahuja was another prolific scorer, belting out three FT finishes and 5.81 Lakhs in total winnings. He posted deep runs in Spartan Poker’s Thursday High Roller (3rd for 3.28 Lakhs), Spartan Poker’s FCS #6 High (2nd for 1.23 Lakhs), and Adda52’s Godfather (5th for 1.30 Lakhs).

Improving upon his runner-up finish in the Wednesday High Roller the day before, he championed the Freedom Celebration Series Day 1 flagship, FCS #3 High – Thursday Celebration, for a career-best 4.87 Lakhs, taking an early lead in the FCS High Leaderboard standings while simultaneously crossing the 1.50 Crores mark in tracked online winnings. Raghav Chauhan came second for 3.09 Lakhs.

The APT Online July 2022 – Super Highroller runner-up finisher Chauhan managed another FT finish in PokerBaazi’s PBC#10 The Summit (5th for 1.94 Lakhs), making away with a hefty 5.04 Lakhs in Thursday winnings.

Thursday delivered a firecracker lineup of tournaments, with all the flagships crushing their listed guarantees comfortably. The inaugural National Poker Series (NPS) was, once again, the star attraction of the day, and PokerBaazi had six NPS events running, and five of them played down to a winner.

PokerGuru Ambassadors had a field day posting multiple FT scores along with winning an NPS gold medal. Ankit Wadhawan was, by and far, the star performer of the day. The Chandigarh-based MTT pro championed the NPS Deepstack Championship to win ₹10.66 Lakhs and his first NPS Gold Medal. He almost won a second flagship title in Spartan Poker’s Trending Thursday, placing runner-up for ₹3.13 Lakhs. Day 1A of the five-flight event registered 317 entries, and 37 survived the day`s onslaught. PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit ‘Shippament’ Wadhawan who simply unstoppable last night. He fired two bullets on Day 1A and ended up bagging a massive 276,602 stack for Day 2 Goonjan ‘gmtesting’ Mall (254,529) and this week`s The Millionaire champion Kunal ‘kvohra’ Vohra (209,315) placed #2 and #3 on the end-of-day chip counts list.

Spartan Poker has been tweaking the prize pool guarantee of its Thursday headliner, the Trending Thursday, quite frequently. While the past few editions have seen the guarantee fluctuate between ₹20 Lakhs to ₹19 Lakhs, it offered a ₹25 Lakhs GTD last week. The Trending Thursday ran with a slightly reduced ₹23 Lakhs prize pool guarantee last night and registered 470 entries to collect a ₹23.50 Lakhs prize pool. In the end, it was Annant ‘Yennnefer’ Jain who shipped the event for ₹4.71 Lakhs. Staring on schedule at 8 PM, the event ran till 6:42AM, with PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit ‘d00mtr00p3r’ Wadhawan coming out on top to win ₹10.66 Lakhs – the single-biggest payday of Thursday.

The event had three PokerGuru Ambassadors on the final table, and all of them made it to three-handed play. Last night, the ₹23 Lakhs GTD Trending Thursday registered 470 entries, which is 107 entries lesser than the event’s previous run. However, with the site reducing the event`s prize pool guarantee by ₹2 Lakhs, it registered a profitable ₹23.50 Lakhs prize pool.

Last April’s SSS The Millionaire X5 finalist Annant ‘Yennnefer’ Jain bested the field to win ₹4.71 Lakhs, just as PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit ‘Shippament’ Wadhawan finished runner-up for ₹3.13 Lakhs.
