A mad rush to win Final Table Series medallions had the virtual felts buzzing with activity yesterday. And all indications point towards a blockbuster Sunday ahead, where India’s Biggest Online Poker Tournament – PokerBaazi’s ₹7 Crores GTD G.O.A.T gets underway!

Young Gun Gaurav Sood went on an absolute heater in the FTS 5.0 flagships last night, raking in a jaw-dropping ₹15.53 Lakhs in the process. He most prominently championed Spartan Poker’s FTS #10 Friday Big for ₹10.22 Lakhs and a seat on the Masters Table. He almost grabbed an FTS Gold Medallion to go with the Silver, posting a runner-up finish in the FTS #8 Friday Special for ₹5.27 Lakhs. The Friday run has got him back into the POY race, pushing him to #9 in the annual rankings, and he sits at #5 in the FTS 5.0 Leaderboard standings.

Shashank Shekhar was another Friday chartbuster with podium finishes in the two biggest FTS flagships, reeling in a whopping ₹11.24 Lakhs overall! He made the breakout run in Spartan Poker’s FTS #10 Friday Big (2nd for ₹7.04 Lakhs) and FTS #8 Friday Special (3rd for ₹3.95 Lakhs), taking over the #7 position on the FTS 5.0 leaderboard.

Thursday’s Monster Turbo winner Ayush Garg nailed Spartan Poker’s FTS #8 Friday Special for ₹8.30 Lakhs (won ₹8.34 Lakhs overall), clinching his first-ever FTS Gold Medallion, a seat on the Masters Table. Simultaneously, he crossed ₹2 Crores in annual winnings while climbing to #6 on the FTS 5.0 Leaderboard.

Anurag Srivastava was another top reg entering the weekend with a title on his back. The MTT pro cashed in over ₹6.48 Lakhs through a litany of deep runs, jumping to #7 in the annual rankings and hitting ₹3 Crores in online profits. He scored his big breakthrough in Adda52`s The Ballers, winning the Friday headliner for ₹5.84 Lakhs. Ashish Munot finished runner-up for ₹3.53 Lakhs.

Karan Radia thrashed out top finishes in two FTS marquees and the Uppercut, banking over ₹5.46 Lakhs and an FTS Silver Medallion, which he won in FTS #9 (1st for ₹2.06 Lakhs). The FTS #3 Thursday Special champion Vaibhav Sharma finished runner-up in FTS #9 for ₹1.30 Lakhs, garnering enough points to take over the #1 position on the FTS 5.0 Leaderboard.

Rahul Purohit (Won FTS #7 PKO for ₹1.45 Lakhs) and Ravi Jain (Won FTS #6 Double Chance for ₹1.28 Lakhs) won the other FTS Silver Medallions on Friday.

PokerBaazi loyalist Ankit Agarwal satellited his way to victory in The Weekly HighRoller, netting ₹4.52 Lakhs following a heads-up deal with Young Gun Devang Yadav (2nd for ₹4.07 Lakhs)

Ninad Naik took down PokerBaazi’s Daily Value Boost for ₹1.79 Lakhs, with Debneil Mukherjee pocketing ₹1.25 Lakhs as the runner-up.

BPT 2022: Kapil Arora Bags the Overall Chip Lead Among 88 Survivors From Day 1A & 1B of the ₹35K Main Event

The BPT ₹35K Main Event completed it’s first two starting flights on March 26. A total of 412 entries (Day 1A – 332 and Day 1B – 80) were registered from the two opening flights.

The Day 1A chip leader Kapil Arora (478,000) had the best start in the event as he bagged the overall chip leader among the 88 survivors from Day 1A (64) and 1B (24) combined. Gagandeep Malik (280,200) and Shashank Jain (269,400) rounded out the top three stacks from Day 1A.
