Daily Majors: Debneil Mukherjee, Areyann Gurbaxani, Kovid Saraswat & Siddhartha Khanna Enter the Weekend With Big Friday Scores
This week in online poker was a bit of a mixed bag. The DPTXpress in Goa definitely drew a crowd, leaving many online tournaments with overlays. However, that didn’t stop the action, and we even saw the numbers start to bounce back on Friday, indicating more players will return to the virtual felt for the weekend grind.
The big sites still delivered the goods. PokerBaazi and Natural8 India kept the regs happy with plenty of MTTs, while Junglee Poker, Adda52, and Spartan Poker offered a wide variety of tournaments for all kinds of players. But the real excitement is building for next week, with Junglee Poker’s ₹12+ Crores GTD Azadi Series starting on August 1 and PokerBaazi’s biggest-ever ₹60 Crores GTD Indian Poker Masters kicking off on August 4.
Speaking of big wins, the mysterious ‘Piggeog‘ stole the show on Friday, absolutely crushing The Quest on PokerBaazi for a massive ₹5 Lakhs – their third title of the week and biggest win ever! They even added a small score in the (500X) Daily, bringing their total Friday earnings to a whopping ₹5.01 Lakhs.
Kovid Saraswat, who’s been on fire lately, kept his hot streak alive with a second-place finish in The Quest, adding ₹3.30 Lakhs to his bankroll.
Areyann Gurbaxani was another player on a heater, reaching three final tables on Friday after doing the same on Thursday. His consistent performance earned him a total of ₹3.35 Lakhs across five deep runs, with a third-place finish in The Quest (₹2.10 Lakhs) as his most notable achievement. He also made it to the final tables of Adda52’s The Ballers DPT Edition (5th for ₹1.10 Lakhs) and Knock Out Arena (6th for ₹11,338).
Over on Adda52, Debneil Mukherjee cleaned up in The Ballers DPT Edition, taking home the top prize of ₹3.70 Lakhs and racking up at least ₹4.15 Lakhs across four deep runs. Siddhartha Khanna also had a great showing, finishing as runner-up in The Ballers for ₹2.74 Lakhs, his best score of the year so far.
PokerBaazi veteran ‘Aukster1′ had a breakthrough, finally grabbing their first major title after six long years. They won the WTF for ₹3.81 Lakhs, their sixth title and biggest score yet. Another PokerBaazi regular, ‘purpleparrot,’ continued their incredible streak from Thursday with a second-place finish in the WTF, earning ₹2.50 Lakhs (their personal best) and bringing their total winnings for the day to ₹2.62 Lakhs across three deep runs.
On Natural8 India, ‘ShooterOfAngles‘ made a killer first impression by winning the Daily Special 88 for ₹3 Lakhs in their debut. ‘borntrouble,‘ who recently made the final table in the Omaholic Bounty Fifty Stack 54, just missed out on taking down GGMasters Bounty 25, finishing as runner-up for ₹2.93 Lakhs.
PokerBaazi stalwart Ramu Kushwaha was at it again, winning The Quest Lite for ₹2.03 Lakhs – his fourth win in a week and 24th title this year. His impressive run, including four deep finishes on Friday alone, led to total winnings of ₹2.34 Lakhs. Neeraj Ailsinghani, who recently finished second in the Daily Last Chance, took second again for ₹1.44 Lakhs, totalling ₹1.49 Lakhs with another deep run.
In PokerBaazi’s Daily Last Chance, ‘Sahasra‘ returned to the top after a seven-week break, winning the late-night flagship for ₹1.60 Lakhs, their second major win on the platform. Meanwhile, on Junglee Poker, ‘venus6‘ dominated The Friday Supernova, earning ₹1.81 Lakhs, while the formidable ‘darkfishe’ secured a respectable ₹90,672 for their runner-up finish.
Finally, on Spartan Poker, Shubham Badjatya continued his winning ways after a victory in last week’s PokerBaazi Blockbuster Lite, taking first place in Friday Fury for ₹1.13 Lakhs and a total of ₹1.24 Lakhs on Friday.
It was an action-packed Friday with big wins for Sandeep Jaiswal, Bhavit Jain, JaiKiran Kumar, Alok Bhatt, Ankit Saurabh, Rahul Kumar, Neeraj Kumar, Vinod Kirne, and Vishvender Singh.

If you’ve been following the action on PokerBaazi lately, you’ve probably noticed one name popping up again and again: Ramu ‘Ramu0550’ Kushwaha.

Kushwaha, a well-known PokerBaazi stalwart hailing from Jalaun, has been dominating the virtual felt all week. And last night, he added another victory to his ever-growing list of accomplishments, taking down the ₹12.50 Lakhs GTD The Quest Lite. And get this – it was his fourth win in just ONE WEEK!
This guy is seriously on fire. He’s already won the (7-Max) Daily SPRINT, the Daily Boost, and the WTF this week, proving he’s a master of multiple poker formats. And now, with his victory in The Quest Lite, he’s added a 24th title to his PokerBaazi collection this year. It’s hard to believe, but he keeps getting better.
The Quest Lite was no walk in the park, either. Kushwaha had to face off against 234 other players (382 total entries) in the 7:30 PM flagship, firing three bullets before finally emerging victorious after a gripping six-hour battle. But when the dust settled, he was the last one standing, netting a handsome ₹2.03 Lakhs for his first-ever win in this event.
Kushwaha kept the momentum rolling, making waves in three additional events and boosting his Friday winnings to a tidy ₹2.34 Lakhs.

But Kushwaha wasn’t the only one who had a good night. Neeraj ‘sherlockofpoker’ Ailsinghani, a former The Summit champion with a runner-up finish in the Daily Last Chance a few days ago, came within a whisker of winning The Quest Lite. He ultimately had to settle for second place and ₹1.44 Lakhs, but that’s still a fantastic result. He also cashed in Daily Last Chance, securing 62nd place and ₹5,560. By the end of Friday, Ailsinghani had amassed a striking ₹1.49 Lakhs in winnings.

Debneil ‘NoobNeil’ Mukherjee (opted out of our tracking), the unstoppable card shark who likes to fly under the radar, has come roaring back into the spotlight! After a string of impressive wins and final table appearances on PokerBaazi this month, he added another major victory to his resume: champion of Adda52’s ₹17 Lakhs GTD The Ballers DPT Edition.

He also made it to the final table of the Daily HighRoller and the BSS Big Bounty KO and snagged second place in the #19 The MoneyMaker back in April. But this latest win is the cherry on top.
This wasn’t just any victory but a masterclass in poker domination. Mukherjee faced down a formidable field of 270 entries (163 unique players) in the 8 PM The Ballers DPT Edition. After eight hours and four minutes of high-stakes poker, he emerged victorious, claiming the title and a sweet ₹3.70 Lakhs payday. And get this: that wasn’t even his only deep run of the day.
