Daily Majors: Aditya Kesharwani’s ₹15 Lakhs The MoneyMaker Win Leads a Star-Studded Thursday; Bhanu Prakash KC, Mohit Bohra & Neeraj Sattawat Deliver Standout Performances
The online poker world is ablaze this May, promising an unforgettable month for players of all stripes. Leading the charge is PokerBaazi’s ₹1 Crore GTD The MoneyMaker, now in its fifteenth edition and still going strong with a month-long extravaganza. It’s the longest-standing single-flight tournament in India, consistently drawing huge crowds and keeping the excitement levels sky-high.
Not to be outdone, Junglee Poker has turned up the heat with its ₹7.50 Crores GTD Poker Premier League (PPL), renowned for its daily rewards and as a top destination for mid-month action. Meanwhile, Adda52 keeps pace with its high-stakes weekly flagships, and over at Natural8 India, the World Festival 2025 is making history with non-stop thrills for the country’s dedicated players. And for crypto enthusiasts, Coin Poker is hosting the $2.50 Million GTD CSOP Spring Festival, offering blockchain-backed poker fans a piece of the seasonal frenzy.
On the global stage, Indian poker legend Santhosh Suvarna once again made his mark. The two-time WSOP bracelet winner and India’s highest-earning player showcased his skills at the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Montenegro, finishing 15th in Event #2: $25,000 NLH 8-Handed for a commendable $50,500 (~₹43.20 Lakhs), while Alex Foxen claimed the title and $755,000 top prize.
Back home, Thursday’s online grind saw its share of highs and lows. Despite the buzz, several flagship events across PokerBaazi, Adda52, and Junglee Poker reported overlays—an unusual sight for their typically electrifying weekday lineups. Even PokerBaazi’s #15 The MoneyMaker fell short of its guarantee, though it drew a substantial turnout, bolstered by satellite qualifiers adding significant value to the field.
Aditya Kesharwani stole the Thursday spotlight with a breakout performance in PokerBaazi’s #15 The MoneyMaker, seizing his first-ever title in the prestigious series and pocketing ₹15 Lakhs. The Rewa native, on a hot streak since May began, also cashed in the Summit Lite, racking up ₹15.06 Lakhs for the day—the highest earnings across all platforms.
Following closely was Bhanu Prakash KC, narrowly missing his first MoneyMaker title to finish second for ₹10 Lakhs, marking his biggest PokerBaazi score to date. With consistent deep runs, including another final table in The Summit, Bhanu took home ₹12.02 Lakhs for the day. May proved blazing for Mohit Bohra, India’s inaugural National Poker Champion, who came close to a second MoneyMaker title this month, finishing third for ₹7 Lakhs and rounding off Thursday with ₹7.83 Lakhs.
After a runner-up finish in #14 The MoneyMaker, Neeraj Sattawat continued his momentum with back-to-back final tables, placing third in The Summit for ₹4.04 Lakhs and sixth in #15 The MoneyMaker for ₹3.48 Lakhs, banking ₹7.52 Lakhs in total Thursday winnings.
Thursday night saw Manipur’s ‘Denishokram’ break a nine-month title drought with a victorious run in PokerBaazi’s The Summit, clinching a second platform title and his first of 2025, pocketing ₹7.50 Lakhs—the best score of his year. A deep run in The MoneyMaker added another ₹85,000, bringing his Thursday earnings to ₹8.35 Lakhs and pushing his lifetime winnings past ₹50 Lakhs. Delhi’s Kritarth Pant came close to ending his five-week dry spell, finishing runner-up in The Summit for ₹5.24 Lakhs and totaling over ₹6.23 Lakhs for the day across four cashes, including a final table on Adda52.
After raking in ₹14.61 Lakhs on Tuesday and another ₹3.99 Lakhs on Wednesday, Rishabh Gupta kept the momentum going on Natural8 India with a ₹5.12 Lakh score on Thursday for his ninth-place finish in the Thursday Titans 320. That brings his three-day haul to a massive ₹23.7 Lakhs+, pushing his 2025 earnings past ₹51 Lakhs and taking his lifetime tally well beyond the ₹80 Lakhs mark.
Hot on the heels of a breakout ₹13.66 Lakh win in the Bamboo Bounty 30, ‘YouKnowMe!!!!’ added another ₹4.76 Lakhs with a deep 23rd-place finish in Natural8 India’s Bounty Hunters Daily Main 525. With just five scores under their belt this year, they’re already knocking on the ₹30 Lakhs mark.
Ranjeet Negi celebrated a breakthrough in Adda52’s Godfather, securing the elusive title after seven previous final table appearances. The Mumbai pro earned ₹3.71 Lakhs—a well-deserved victory, his third of 2025, showcasing his formidable form. With a final table finish in PokerBaazi’s Summit Lite, his Thursday tally approached ₹4.08 Lakhs. Kovid Saraswat came close to breaking a 12-week title drought, settling for runner-up in the Godfather with ₹2.72 Lakhs, complemented by a deep run in the Rapid Fire for a total of over ₹2.88 Lakhs.
The former The MoneyMaker champion Anand Babu Pallikona dominated Adda52’s Rapid Fire debut, claiming the top spot and ₹2.12 Lakhs in earnings. Following up with deep runs in The MoneyMaker and Godfather, he wrapped up Thursday with a solid ₹2.47 Lakhs total. ‘Calyx420’ almost clinched their first flagship win, following strong finishes in the MMA Monster Stack PKO and Sunday Big Slick with a runner-up prize of ₹1.48 Lakhs on Adda52—a breakout performance and their best score yet.
After months of near-misses, ‘Omshiva’ secured their first flagship title of 2025 in PokerBaazi’s Big PLO-5 for ₹2.07 Lakhs—their second-best site career score. The win ended a five-month title drought and helped recover 10% of their lifetime losses on the platform. Sahil Mahboobani continued his scorching May, finishing runner-up in the Big PLO-5 for ₹1.71 Lakhs and shipping Adda52’s Monster Turbo PKO for ₹96,000, closing Thursday with ₹3.87 Lakhs—his sixth title of 2025 and third this month.
PokerBaazi highlighted ‘Jonoarcrade,’ who won the Summit Lite for ₹2.41 Lakhs, with Anurag Srivastava in second for ₹1.58 Lakhs. ‘nurahahaha’ scored ₹2.25 Lakhs with a win in the Daily Last Chance, while Amit Kumar Jha took home ₹1.48 Lakhs as the runner-up. At Junglee Poker, ‘kahorau’ grabbed the spotlight by winning the Thursday Mini Highroller for ₹1.73 Lakhs.
The day closed with standout wins from seasoned grinders—Sreekanth Narayan, Puneet Jain, Karan Thakker, Anmolraj Singh Chawla, and Stavya Singh—each adding to their impressive resumes.
Here are the Thursday highlights!
PokerBaazi
#15 The MoneyMaker – ₹1 Crore GTD
Buy-in – ₹10,000
Entries – 590
Re-entries – 436
Prize Pool – ₹1,00,00,000
Places Paid – 146
Thursday may have been quieter in terms of traffic on PokerBaazi, but what it lacked in volume, it made up for with monster overlays and high-octane action. The platform’s two biggest flagships—the ₹1 Crore GTD #15 The MoneyMaker and ₹50 Lakhs GTD The Summit—once again missed their guarantees, continuing May’s trend of unprecedented value for tournament grinders. In contrast, events like the Summit Lite, Big PLO-5, and Daily Last Chance bucked the pattern by comfortably smashing their guarantees.
Amidst this feast of overlays and high-stakes drama, Aditya ‘KesarDa’ Kesharwani emerged as the biggest winner of the night, delivering a career-highlight performance that reaffirmed his growing status on the Indian MTT scene.

The Rewa, Madhya Pradesh native has been on a tear since the start of May. He kicked things off with a podium finish in Adda52’s MMA Thunder PKO on May 1, followed by a title win in PokerBaazi’s The Quest just two days later. Three days after that, he shipped Adda52’s The Mint. Clearly, momentum was building. And last night, Kesharwani reached a new peak.
Taking on a daunting 1,026-entry field (590 unique) in The MoneyMaker 105.0, Kesharwani battled for over nine hours in the 7:30 PM showstopper. His grind paid off spectacularly as he clinched his first-ever The MoneyMaker championship bracelet and banked a massive ₹15 Lakhs payday. This marked not just his biggest score of 2025 but also the second-largest cash of his career, behind only his deep run in the inaugural EndBoss.
Kesharwani wasn’t done yet. He also made a deep run in the Summit Lite, finishing 64th for ₹6,324. That pushed his total Thursday earnings to ₹15.06 Lakhs, making him the top earner of the night across all Indian platforms.
Aditya Kesharwani’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India and Junglee Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹4.21 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.25 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #7 | Annual Winnings: ₹54.37 Lakhs
Close behind Kesharwani on the day’s top earners list was the ever-consistent Bhanu ‘Chennaino1’ Prakash KC (opted out of our tracking), the NPS India 2025 Series & Karnataka state leaderboard topper. After a final table appearance in The Pride Lite the previous night, Bhanu returned to the virtual felt on Thursday with serious momentum—and he delivered.

He came agonizingly close to clinching his first The MoneyMaker bracelet in the 105th edition, ultimately finishing runner-up for ₹10 Lakhs—his biggest score yet on PokerBaazi. He didn’t stop there. Bhanu also final-tabled The Summit and cashed in Summit Lite, bringing his total Thursday earnings to a scorching ₹12.02 Lakhs—placing him firmly among the night’s biggest crushers.
> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s #15 The MoneyMaker for ₹10,00,000
> 6th in PokerBaazi’s The Summit for ₹1,96,000
> 93rd in PokerBaazi’s The Summit Lite for ₹6,324
Meanwhile, India’s inaugural National Poker Champion Mohit ‘bullets777’ Bohra continued his red-hot May streak. Over the last two weeks, Bohra has been nearly unstoppable, racking up a runner-up finish in Adda52’s Mystery Bounty, a victory in #4 The MoneyMaker, and final table finishes in Wednesday Wonder and Friday Bounty. He also placed runner-up in The Mint on Adda52 just last week.

Looking to make history by becoming the first double-bracelet winner of The MoneyMaker series this May, Bohra made another deep run in The MoneyMaker 105.0. He came close—very close—but eventually bowed out in third place, banking ₹7 Lakhs. Adding in his other results for the day, Bohra ended Thursday with at least ₹7.83 Lakhs in total winnings, further cementing his status as one of the top performers of the month.
> 3rd in PokerBaazi’s #15 The MoneyMaker for ₹7,00,000
> 20th in PokerBaazi’s The Summit for ₹50,000
> 13th in Adda52’s Rapid Fire for ₹12,215
> 11th in Adda52’s Thursday Thunder for ₹11,302
Mohit Bohra’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India and Junglee Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹5.02 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.53 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #6
The final table of The MoneyMaker 105.0 was stacked with familiar names, including Aayush ‘Quads2810’ Pandey (4th for ₹5.70 Lakhs), the #14 The MoneyMaker runner-up Neeraj ‘Dattebayo7’ Sattawat (6th for ₹3.48 Lakhs), Inaka ‘p10babu’ Chisi (7th for ₹2.70 Lakhs) and PokerBaazi Team Pro Zarvan ‘MomSaid5Bet’ Tumboli (8th for ₹1.95 Lakhs).
Even with all the excitement, The MoneyMaker 105.0 carried a sizeable overlay of ₹10.78 Lakhs, coming up short of its ₹1 Crore guarantee. But for players, that translated to incredible value. With a ₹10K buy-in, the event paid the top 152 places, with the minimum cash set at ₹18,000—nearly double the entry fee.
And remember, this was just Edition #15. With 16 more MoneyMakers still to come in May, PokerBaazi’s month-long mega grind continues to deliver both prestige and payout potential. From breakthrough wins to dream run payouts, the series is turning into one of the biggest value-fests of the year. And judging by how the first half has played out, the second half promises even more fireworks on India’s biggest poker stage.

After a relatively subdued Wednesday, Thursday brought renewed energy to the virtual felts of PokerBaazi. While headliner events like the ₹1 Crore GTD #15 The MoneyMaker and the ₹50 Lakhs GTD The Summit missed their guarantees, there was no shortage of action—or opportunity. Other Flagships like Summit Lite, the always-reliable Daily Last Chance, and the action-packed Big PLO-5 comfortably cleared their marks, hinting at a shift in momentum.
But the spotlight, as always on Thursdays, was squarely on The Summit—and it did not disappoint. The 8 PM primetime showdown served up some of the night’s fiercest poker, culminating in a breakthrough victory for ‘Denishokram’, a Manipur-based grinder and long-time PokerBaazi regular.
Playing on the platform since April 2018, ‘Denishokram’ last tasted gold in the BSS SuperStack back in July 2024. After a nine-month title drought, they returned in dominant fashion. Outlasting a stacked 452-entry field (278 unique) across a grueling 8 hours and 47 minutes, the Manipur crusher clinched their second PokerBaazi title—and their first of 2025—along with a sizzling ₹7.50 Lakhs payday, their second-best career score and best of the year.
The heater didn’t stop there. While deep in The Summit, ‘Denishokram’ was also carving through the field in #15 The MoneyMaker, eventually placing 18th for ₹85,000, pushing their Thursday earnings to a stellar ₹8.35 Lakhs—making them one of the top winners across all Indian platforms for the day. The scores also took their lifetime platform earnings past ₹50 Lakhs and helped them recover 25% of their previous losses on PokerBaazi—momentum, meet redemption.
Denishokram’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹57.32 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #1
Delhi’s Kritarth ‘AgentJack’ Pant, a familiar face in the winner’s circle, who last shipped the BSS SuperStack in April, was gunning for his fourth title of the year and looking to snap a five-week title drought. He came heartbreakingly close, entering The Summit twice and grinding his way to a hard-fought runner-up finish, banking a healthy ₹5.24 Lakhs for his efforts.

But Pant didn’t stop there. He fired across the felt with full force, notching up four additional scores, including a fifth-place finish in Adda52’s Thursday Thunder for ₹43,908, taking his total Thursday haul north of ₹6.23 Lakhs.
> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s The Summit for ₹5,24,000
> 5th in Adda52’s Thursday Thunder for ₹43,908
> 9th in Adda52’s Godfather for ₹30,926
> 13th in PokerBaazi’s Big PLO-5 for ₹13,453
> 56th in Adda52’s Rapid Fire for ₹11,079* (₹6,100 in bounties)
Kritarth Pant’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52 and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹3.05 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.02 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #3
The Summit final table itself was a minefield of seasoned crushers & in-form phenoms like Wednesday’s #14 The MoneyMaker runner-up Neeraj ‘Dattebayo7’ Sattawat (3rd for ₹4.04 Lakhs), Shivam ‘daddyaddy’ Kumar Dubey (4th for ₹2.40 Lakhs), NPS Series leaderboard crusher & last night’s #15 The MoneyMaker runner-up Bhanu ‘Chennaino1’ Prakash KC (6th for ₹1.96 Lakhs), and Tuesday’s The Endeavour Lite & Big PLO-5 champion Mohit ‘thejoker’ Mehta (7th for ₹1.53 Lakhs).
Despite the star power, The Summit offered one of the juiciest overlays of the night, missing its ₹50 Lakhs guarantee by a staggering ₹10.69 Lakhs—an overlay of over 21%. That added value was a windfall for grinders, with the top 71 finishers each walking away with at least ₹25,000—a 2.5x return on the ₹10,000 buy-in. With The MoneyMaker continuing its 31-day run and Thursday night serving up such incredible value and fireworks, May is shaping up to be one of the most action-packed months Indian poker has ever seen.

It’s becoming clearer by the day—Adda52 has found its groove again. With overlays popping up like unexpected treats, the platform has turned into a goldmine of value for any grinder willing to put in the hours. As India’s longest-running poker platform and now firmly the second-largest in daily tournament offerings (behind only PokerBaazi), Adda52 is making a hard push to reassert its place in the online poker pecking order.
Thursday night was no exception, and all eyes were on the ₹20 Lakhs GTD Godfather—a flagship that never fails to bring the heat. A fired-up field of 365 entries (153 unique) clashed in what turned out to be one of the most intense mid-week showdowns in recent weeks.
When the dust settled, it was Mumbai-based pro Ranjeet ‘Rj147’ Negi who rose from the carnage, claiming his first-ever Godfather title after seven final table finishes in the event. This win was a long time coming—and he made it count, banking ₹3.71 Lakhs for his efforts.

Negi had been riding momentum since his victory in PokerBaazi’s Big PLO-5 just nine days ago. Thursday’s triumph marked his third title of 2025, third-biggest score of the year, and 12th-highest career cash—a powerful reminder of what he’s capable of when locked in.
But he wasn’t done yet. Negi also final-tabled PokerBaazi’s The Summit Lite, finishing eighth for ₹36,839 and pushing his Thursday tally just shy of ₹4.08 Lakhs.
> 1st in Adda52’s Godfather for ₹3,71,112
> 8th in PokerBaazi’s Summit Lite for ₹15,165
Hot on his heels was none other than Kovid’ fzzfzz’ Saraswat, a poker stalwart and the PSL Season 6 Goa Gators captain. Coming off a fifth-place finish in PokerBaazi’s #6 The MoneyMaker last week, Saraswat was chasing his first title in 12 weeks, his last coming in The Summit back in February.

He came heartbreakingly close in the Godfather, finishing runner-up for ₹2.72 Lakhs, just missing out on adding the prestigious title to his resume. Saraswat also posted a 42nd place finish in Adda52’s Rapid Fire, collecting ₹16,207, and wrapped up his night with over ₹2.88 Lakhs in total earnings—a strong outing that reinforced his position as a consistent big-stage contender.
> 2nd in Adda52’s Godfather for ₹2,72,028
> 42nd in Adda52’s Rapid Fire for ₹16,207* (₹10,674 in bounties)
Kovid Saraswat’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹6.23 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.94 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #1 | Annual Winnings: ₹80.36 Lakhs | Annual Profit: ₹32.41 Lakhs
The Godfather final table was loaded with high-calibre players right down the line, including the recent Adda52 Millions fourth-place finisher Arun ‘runyrules’ Sriram (3rd for ₹1.99 Lakhs), Wednesday’s Head Hunter champion Shreyansh ‘halifax7701’ Sharma (4th for ₹1.46 Lakhs), Ashish ‘lazyfish’ Kumar (5th for ₹1.07 Lakhs), Deveshwar ‘DeveshwarRaj’ Raj (6th for ₹78,528), and the ever-dangerous Avneesh ‘IamAM’ Munjal (7th for ₹57,561).
Echoing a broader trend seen recently, the ₹5,750 buy-in Godfather fell notably short of its guarantee, leaving a significant ₹1.75 Lakhs in overlays for the players to enjoy – an increase in added value. For the players who cashed, this meant some truly insane value. The top 55 finishers got paid, with min-cashes starting at ₹11,774 – more than double the buy-in. With incredible value like this regularly on offer and Adda52 not pulling any punches with its beefed-up schedule, India’s longest-serving online poker platform’s summer grind is hitting a very exciting stride.

- Ranjeet ‘rj147’ Negi – ₹3,71,112

Adda52’s new era of tournament aggression is in full swing—and Thursday night’s debut edition of the ₹20 Lakhs GTD Rapid Fire proved exactly why the platform has solidified its position as India’s #2 poker destination. With rivals still recalibrating in the post-GST landscape, Adda52 has been quick to plug the gaps, doubling down on aggressive guarantees, improved formats, and a noticeable upswing in daily traffic. Sure, overlays haven’t vanished, but the rising turnout signals that the strategy is working—and if this keeps up, the gap between Adda52 and PokerBaazi could narrow faster than expected.
While Thursdays have traditionally belonged to the iconic Godfather, the real fireworks this week came from Rapid Fire, Adda52’s brand-new bounty-infused, multi-flight MTT. Designed for speed & high volatility spread across three starting flights and culminating in a tense Day 2 finale at 10 PM. With 601 entries (317 unique), the numbers came in a bit under par, resulting in a healthy overlay—and extra value for the field. Seventy-three players advanced to Day 2, all already in the money but with their eyes set on the biggest spoils.
At the end of this rollercoaster ride, it was Goa’s veteran pro Anand ‘anand1895’ Babu Pallikona who stood tallest. A former The MoneyMaker champion, Pallikona added yet another trophy to his name by conquering the first-ever Rapid Fire. Staying composed in the face of fast-paced chaos, he pulled off a clinical win to bag ₹2.12 Lakhs (including ₹19,060 in bounties)—his second-best score of 2025 and a fitting follow-up to his The Pride victory earlier this month.

But Pallikona didn’t stop there. He turned Thursday into a personal poker showcase, deep running in PokerBaazi’s #15 The MoneyMaker and Adda52’s Godfather, collectively amassing over ₹2.47 Lakhs for the day. Quietly consistent and always dangerous, Pallikona continues to prove why he’s one of the sharpest minds in the Indian MTT ecosystem.
> 1st in Adda52’s Rapid Fire for ₹2,12,388* (₹19,060 in bounties)
> 88th in PokerBaazi’s #15 The MoneyMaker for ₹23,000
> 51st in Adda52’s Godfather for ₹11,774
Hot on his heels was site regular ‘Calyx420’, who pushed hard to capture their first flagship title. Already riding high after shipping the MMA Monster Stack PKO and finishing runner-up in the Sunday Big Slick, they were clearly in the zone. Thursday night was nearly the breakout moment, but they had to settle for a runner-up finish worth ₹1.48 Lakhs (₹6,100 in bounties)—their biggest Adda52 score to date.
Calyx420’s Adda52 stats: Site Winnings: ₹5.21 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹4.52 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #1
The final table of Rapid Fire lived up to its name—fast-paced, fierce, and an actual test of the best. A shark tank of top MTT pros battled it out, with Bharat ‘rungooserun’ Vasan continuing his hot streak by finishing third for ₹1.06 Lakhs, days after winning The Endeavour Lite. 2025 POY #5 Advait ‘ronaldinho018’ Rajguru stayed in the title race with a fourth-place finish worth ₹88,581. The stacked final table also featured Avinash ‘aksinha97’ Kumar (5th for ₹72,115), Yash’ Nasse’ Bajpai (6th for ₹65,445), and Ram’ mowgumotu’ Kakkar (8th for ₹38,366).
Despite the electric action, Rapid Fire couldn’t quite dodge the overlay bug, with the ₹3,500 buy-in event falling ₹1.67 Lakhs short of its ₹20 Lakhs guarantee. But for the 73 players who made it to Day 2, that overlay translated into pure value. Even a min-cash was worth ₹4,979, and with the bounty format in play, many padded their paydays significantly along the way. Adda52 is clearly doubling down on its revamped schedule, and the early signs are promising.
Final Table Results (Including Bounties)
- Anand ‘anand1895’ Babu Pallikona – ₹2,12,388
- Calyx420 – ₹1,47,890
- Bharat ‘rungooserun’ Vasan – ₹1,06,335
- Advait ‘ronaldinho018’ Rajguru – ₹88,581
- Avinash ‘aksinha97’ Kumar – ₹72,115
- Yash ‘Nasse’ Bajpai – ₹65,445

This Week in Poker: April 16 – 22
Welcome to the latest edition of ‘This Week in Poker,’ where we bring you the most significant online scores by Indian MTT players and the top stories from both the live and online poker circuits. Here are this week’s highlights!
With live poker action hitting top gear alongside the usual online grind, this past week felt like a full-blown poker whirlwind, setting both the live and virtual arenas ablaze. All eyes turned to Goa, where India celebrated its first-ever National Poker Champion, sending ripples of excitement through the community and creating a landmark occasion in Indian poker history.
Internationally, Poker Dream 17 Malaysia penned another successful entry for Asian grinders, while across the globe, the 2025 U.S. Poker Open, known for its elite fields, brought intense competition for high rollers.
Back on home soil, the digital felt buzzed with activity. In an interesting turn, Adda52 grabbed the Sunday spotlight, outperforming regular heavyweights like PokerBaazi and Natural8 India thanks to its newly revamped tournament schedule featuring bigger guarantees. For the remainder of the week, however, PokerBaazi and Natural8 India held their ground with consistent flagship results.
Junglee Poker cranked up the excitement with its ₹50 Crores GTD Battle Ground series finding its ₹50 Lakhs GTD BG Main Event winner on Sunday. Simultaneously, PokerDangal wrapped up its ₹60 Lakhs GTD Dangal Value Series, where the ₹25 Lakhs GTD DVS Main Event didn’t just meet expectations but comfortably surpassed its guarantee.
History Made: Mohit Bohra Crowned India’s Inaugural National Poker Champion!
The biggest headline belongs to Mohit Bohra! Last Thursday in Goa, the player from Gujarat etched his name into Indian poker history, becoming the country’s first-ever National Poker Champion. Outlasting 11 other elite state champions over four days of intense match-play at the Novotel Resort & Spa (streamed live on JioHotstar with PokerGuru updates!), Bohra claimed the monumental ₹1 Crore top prize!
His path was legendary: Bohra played all 191 events at NPS India 2025, cashing 126 times (~₹36.96 Lakhs earned), winning five medals (3 Gold, 2 Silver), and collecting ₹10 Lakhs in leaderboard payouts before sealing the deal in Goa. His victory also triggered a ₹1 Crore “NPC State Freeroll” for Gujarat players (April 26, 7 PM). Sreekanth Narayan put up a commendable fight to finish as the runner-up, while Ankit Wadhawan, who started the finale with the chip advantage, finished third. Bohra’s triumph confirmed his place in history and deservedly makes him our “PokerGuru Star of the Week!”

Poker Dream 17 Malaysia: Sharma, Jolly & Nasa Lead Strong Indian Showing
Shifting gears to the Asian poker circuit, Poker Dream 17 Malaysia wrapped up its 12-day festival at Resorts World Genting on April 21. Though the Indian contingent arrived late to the party, they put together a solid showing, tallying 32 cashes, 10 final table appearances, a title, and another runner-up finish, adding another chapter to India’s successful history on the Poker Dream tour.
Leading the Indian charge once again was Poker Dream legend Nishant Sharma. The three-time Poker Dream Main Event champ cashed three times, his series earnings reaching a blistering ₹81.84 Lakhs, the highest by any Indian at the stop. His biggest hit came in Event #54: MYR 12K Mystery Bounty High Roller, where a third-place finish yielded ₹60.15 Lakhs, including a massive ₹42.92 Lakhs bounty haul (the event’s largest!).

Siddharth Jolly also had a great series, cashing four times for ₹34.96 Lakhs, highlighted by a runner-up finish in Event #8: MYR 2.1K Mystery Big Bounty worth ₹30.11 Lakhs (where he also had the biggest bounty total).

The lone Indian title went to Akshay Nasa. He took down Event #53: MYR 2.7K Monster Stack, claiming ₹20.54 Lakhs. This stands as his biggest live score of 2025 and his second Poker Dream trophy.

Players can utilise WPT Global India Passport Dollars for all related expenses, with specific event details anticipated shortly.
Industry Buzz: Barbero Out at ACR, Massive BBJ Hits!
ACR Poker officially parted ways with ambassador Nacho Barbero after a string of controversial incidents. The final straw appeared to be Barbero’s remarks during the 2025 U.S. Poker Open live stream, where he was heard seemingly mocking ACR’s anti-cheating measures. CEO Phil Nagy cited a “fundamental misalignment” with the brand`s core values. This followed an earlier incident in which Barbero was caught with GTO Wizard open while playing.
At ACR Poker we take our game integrity and our responsibility to ensure a fair and competitive environment for all players seriously.
We expect the same from the ambassadors who represent our brand. That expectation has been tested a lot this year and in light of recent comments…— ACR Poker (@ACR_POKER) April 17, 2025
Déjà vu struck in Quebec on April 16! Casino du Lac-Leamy‘s OK Poker Lounge triggered the second-largest Bad Beat Jackpot ever—CAD 2.51 Million ($1.81 Million)! A $1/$3 NLH game saw quad tens lose to a straight flush, awarding the ‘losing’ player CAD 1+ million and spreading payouts across 46 players.
Shorr Shines Captures U.S. Poker Open Series Championship in Dramatic Finale!
On the international circuit, the 2025 U.S. Poker Open finished dramatically at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas. Shannon Shorr distinguished himself at the series and claimed the overall championship in a down-to-the-wire finish. Shorr won two titles: first, Event #5: $10,100 NLHE ($220,400), and then the series finale, Event #8: $25,200 NLHE. In the final event, he defeated Nacho Barbero heads-up to collect $529,250, claiming his sixth career PGT title (an incredible fourth this year), the Golden Eagle trophy and the $25,000 PGT Passport!

The final heads-up match was more than just a contest for prize money; it decided the overall series championship. Shorr required the victory to overtake Matthew Wantman’s 512 points, and he did exactly that, finishing with 538 points and $749,650 in series earnings. Wantman finished second overall, while Barbero’s late surge placed him third with 402 points.

Down to the Wire: Six Remain For National Poker Champion Crown; Wadhawan Holds the Lead Heading Into Thursday`s Finale
Three high-stakes days. Six intense matches. Twelve of India’s best state champions. And now, we’re down to six.
If expectations were already high for the National Poker Champion showdown, the action at the Novotel Resort & Spa in Goa didn`t disappoint! The climactic final act of the record-breaking National Poker Series India 2025 is just a day away, and the buzz and excitement are palpable!
Half the field saw their championship dreams dissolve, but six competitors navigated the pressure, stacked up crucial points, and punched their tickets to the final dance. They now stand on the verge of poker history, each eyeing the chance to become India’s first-ever National Poker Champion and grab that stunning ₹1 Crore winner-takes-all prize.
The stakes go beyond personal gain. The champion will also trigger a massive ₹1 Crore freeroll tournament for players from their home state. This isn’t just about individual glory; it’s about state pride, too.
Fans nationwide have been sweating the action, catching the matches streamed on JioHotstar (with a one-hour delay) and live updates on PokerGuru, cheering on their state heroes. With Day 3 completed, the final six contenders are locked in for Thursday’s grand finale.
While several players delivered memorable performances, Chandigarh’s Ankit Wadhawan enters the final battle holding the chip advantage. His consistency was remarkable – a runner-up finish in Match 1, a victory in Match 3, and another second place in Match 5 (eliminator 1) earned him a total of 285 points—good for the top stack of 500 BB for the finale.

Close behind is Kerala’s Sreekanth Narayan. He started like a house on fire, winning both Match 1 and Match 3. A fifth-place finish in Match 5 cooled his jets slightly, but his 210 points granted him the second-largest stack with 400 BB.

Karnataka’s Bhanuprakash KC, the leaderboard machine who snagged a Match 2 win, sits third with 180 points and will begin the finale with 350 BB.

Then we have the duo who came through in crunch time. Uttar Pradesh’s Vikhyat Ahlawat and Arunachal Pradesh’s Wilson Yomso delivered clutch performances in the decisive Match 6 (final eliminator). They finished tied with 170 points each, and both will start the finale with 250 BB.

Gujarat’s Mohit Bohra completes the final table lineup. He also delivered under pressure in Match 6, finishing with 150 points, which gives him a 250 BB starting stack.

These final six competitors have earned a day off today – Wednesday – to rest, regroup, and strategize. On Thursday, April 17, they return for one last push towards that life-changing ₹1 Crore payday, the coveted NPC title, and the chance to bring poker glory back to their home state.
The grand finale is nearly upon us.
Day 3 Recap
Match 5 (Eliminator 1) – Top 3 vs Bottom 3
Points Standing at the Start
Top 3
- Sreekanth Narayan (Kerala) – 220 pts
- Ankit Wadhawan (Chandigarh) – 205 pts
- Bhanuprakash KC (Karnataka) – 130 pts
Bottom 3
- Goonjan Mall (West Bengal) – 30 pts
- Anish Vijayvergiya (Rajasthan) – 5 pts
- Saahib Bawa (Delhi) – -15 pts
Match 5 Recap: Saahil Bawa’s Blazing Comeback Ends in Heartbreak
Delhi’s Saahib Bawa started Match 5 at the very bottom of the points table but put on a performance for the ages. It was a stunning turnaround, though ultimately, not enough to carry him to the finale.

Bawa, who had been the first to bust in Matches 1 and 3, came out swinging this time, immediately locking horns with Goonjan Mall. He pulled in a chunky pot early on, setting the tone for what looked like a redemption arc. Unfortunately for the West Bengal pro, Mall was the first casualty of Match 5, putting a nail in his own finale hopes.

Shortly after, the formidable Sreekanth Narayan, winner of the first two matches, ran into a nasty cooler against Ankit Wadhawan. Narayan flopped a set with his on a board – looking strong. But Wadhawan, holding , caught a miracle on the turn to make a straight. The river didn’t pair the board, and Narayan was out in fifth place.

With four players left, Bawa maintained the chip lead, but Anish Vijayvergiya wasn’t far behind after doubling through Wadhawan. At that point, it was Bawa (112,700) just barely ahead of Vijayvergiya (112,300).
But Wadhawan wasn’t ready to fade. He bounced back with a double through Anish Vijayvergiya, dragging the latter’s stack down to 79,500. Vijayvergiya’s run came to an end not long after when his lost to Bawa’s . The board gave Bawa a flopped pair of Queens, and Rajasthan’s dream of reaching the finale was done.

Bhanuprakash KC hit the rail next. The Karnataka grinder made his stand with but ran straight into Bawa’s . The board ran clean for the aces – – sending KC out in third.

That left Saahib Bawa (239,100) with a mountain of chips to Ankit Wadhawan’s (60,900) modest stack heading into the final duel. The heads-up didn’t last long. On the final hand, Bawa shoved with , and Wadhawan called off his last 32,500 with . The board gave Bawa trip eights on the flop, and the match was his.

It was a commanding win for Bawa, earning him a huge 110 points after knocking out Vijayvergiya (4th), Bhanuprakash (3rd), and Wadhawan (2nd). A remarkable performance from someone who started the day last in points.
But the celebration came with a catch. Despite the huge result, Bawa’s overall tally only climbed to 95 points—good enough to temporarily place him in sixth. However, with six more players still to play Match 6 (the last eliminator) and at least one of them guaranteed 50+ points (for a third-place or better finish), Bawa’s fate was sealed. No combination of outcomes could keep him in the Top 6. The Delhi pro’s heroic Match 5 win was nothing short of electric—but not enough to punch his ticket to the finale.
Final Standings – Match 5
- Saahib Bawa (Delhi) – 110 pts | Total: 95 pts
- Ankit Wadhawan (Chandigarh) – 80 pts | Total: 285 pts

- Snehil Aggarwal (Haryana) – 85 pts
- Wilson Yomso (Arunachal Pradesh) – 60 pts
- Aditya Sushant (Tamil Nadu) – 50 pts
Match 6 Recap – The Middle Six Bring the Heat as Yomso and Ahlawat Steal the Final Two Seats
The tension was sky-high for Match 6 (the last eliminator), the last chance saloon before the National Poker Champion finale. With Narayan, Wadhawan, and KC already locked in, only three spots remained for the six players in this match. It was put-up or shut-up time for the middle group, and they certainly responded.
Enter Wilson Yomso. Much like Saahib Bawa in Match 5, the Arunachal Pradesh champion started near the bottom of the points list with everything on the line. And he put on a clinic.

Yomso, noticeably focused (even ditching his usual colourful hairstyle), knew he likely needed a top-two finish to qualify. He got busy early, taking down a three-way pot involving Snehil Aggarwal and Zarvan Tumboli. After that, he didn’t let up, pulling off a bold river bluff against Tumboli to build his stack, then taking more chips from Vikhyat Ahlawat. Yomso was clearly dialled in.
The first bust-out came in Level 8. Snehil Aggarwal got his chips in with against Tumboli’s . The board ran out , giving Tumboli a rivered full house (Aces full of threes) and sending Aggarwal out in sixth.

Yomso, meanwhile, kept building. He rivered trip Kings against Tumboli to grab the chip lead and continued applying pressure. Next, he bullied Aditya Sushant in a big pot to widen the gap.
Then came another big moment. PokerBaazi Team Pro Zarvan Tumboli found himself in deep waters with against Mohit Bohra’s . The board ran —no help for either, but Bohra’s Ace-high held strong. Tumboli busted in fifth place, ending Maharashtra’s run. Crucially, this hand guaranteed Bohra and Gujarat a place in the finale.

Down to four, Yomso continued his surge. He eliminated Mohit Bohra next when his spiked a Jack on the river against Bohra’s on a board. Bohra finished fourth.

Aditya Sushant was the next to fall. The WSOP bracelet winner got his chips in with but ran into Yomso’s . The board ran , giving Yomso a flopped pair of Queens. The Tamil Nadu champion was out in third. Sushant gathered 100 points overall, but needing an outright win in this match to advance, he came up short.

That left Wilson Yomso (259,000) with a massive heads-up advantage over Vikhyat Ahlawat (41,000), making it a one-sided duel.
The final confrontation didn’t take long. Yomso pushed all-in from the button with . Ahlawat found and made the call for his tournament life. The dealer laid out . Yomso hit a pair of sixes on the turn, and it was over.

With that final pot, Yomso took down the match, earning 110 points and boosting his total to 170, punching his ticket to the finale. Ahlawat, by finishing second, earned 80 crucial points, also bringing his total to 170 and locking up one of the last three seats in the NPC finale.
Final Standings – Match 6
- Wilson Yomso (Arunachal Pradesh) – 110 pts | Total: 170 pts
- Vikhyat Ahlawat (Uttar Pradesh) – 80 pts | Total: 170 pts
- Aditya Sushant (Tamil Nadu) – 50 pts | Total: 100 pts
- Mohit Bohra (Gujarat) – 30 pts | Total: 150 pts
- Zarvan Tumboli (Maharashtra) – 10 pts | Total: 120 pts

The scramble for leaderboard dominance has become a desperate, all-out war. Every player still in contention knows what’s on the line: a coveted seat at India’s first-ever National Poker Champion showdown in Goa next month. And that burning desire has translated into numbers that defy belief.
A mind-blowing 9,114 entries flooded in on Friday alone, pushing the day’s prize pool to a staggering ₹2.53 Crores – a full 26.50% above the ₹2 Crores guarantee. This is the second day in a row that payouts have exceeded the guarantee by over 25%, setting the stage for a final weekend that promises to be nothing short of explosive. The series has already paid out an unbelievable ₹88.33 Crores, leaving the original ₹78.75 Crores guarantee in the rearview mirror.
Day 26 was a victory lap for returning champions. Four of the seven players who claimed Gold did it for the second time this series. While Zarvan Tumboli grabbed headlines with his fifth NPS medal, four other seasoned players—Ayush Goyal, Bharat Vasan, Ridhav Chawla, and Sreekanth Narayan—each snagged their second Gold Medal, adding even more fuel to the leaderboard fire. Gopal Bajaj came this close to back-to-back Golds, but had to settle for consecutive Silver Medals instead—an impressive accomplishment nonetheless, not to mention Snehil Aggarwal, who picked up a medal for a record-breaking fourth consecutive day.
But Friday truly belonged to Priyanka Singh, who wrote an incredible comeback story, winning her first-ever NPS Gold Medal in the NPS#175 (PLO-5) HighRoller for a career-best ₹8.59 Lakhs, making her the day’s biggest winner. Earlier in the week, she’d grabbed a Silver in the NPS#162 (PLO-4) HighRoller. These two performances make her the only female player with two medals at this year’s NPS, and one of only nine from Karnataka to do so. Her amazing run has boosted her to #5 on the Karnataka State Leaderboard, and even though she’s still in the red overall, her recent surge suggests a dramatic turnaround!
PokerBaazi Team Pro Zarvan Tumboli was right behind Singh, grabbing an insane fifth medal this series, finishing runner-up in the (PLO-5) HighRoller for ₹5.43 Lakhs. He also cashed in three other events for a Friday payday of nearly ₹5.88 Lakhs. He’s now the only player with four Silver Medals this series and one of only seven players to win five or more medals. However, despite his consistency, he was knocked off the top of the Maharashtra State Leaderboard by Gopal Bajaj, who snagged two Silver Medals on Friday. With both players tied at 30 points, Bajaj now has the edge due to his two Golds (one more than Tumboli), making the race for the NPC seat from Maharashtra a real nail-biter.
Ayush Goyal, the Gold Medal winner from NPS#10 Megadive, delivered another dominant performance in the NPS#177 (7-Max) SPRINT, taking down his second Gold and scoring a career-best ₹4.77 Lakhs. Now ranked #2 on the Rajasthan State Leaderboard, he’s just two points behind state rival Anish Vijayvergia and ready to make a late-stage leaderboard charge. Ganesh Durgade also had a Friday to remember, earning a Silver in the (7-Max) SPRINT. With this, he completed his medal set for the series, having previously won a (NPS#30 Slamdunk) and a Bronze (NPS#43 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT). His Friday performance added nearly ₹3.61 Lakhs to his bankroll and bumped him up to #7 on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard.
Ridhav Chawla also maintained his winning ways, grabbing his second Gold Medal of the series in the NPS#174 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT, adding ₹3.85 Lakhs to his earnings. Already a Gold winner in the NPS#114 Mini HighRoller and a Silver Medallist in the NPS#78 Megadive, Chawla’s third medal of the series (fifth overall) has boosted him to #4 on the Delhi State Leaderboard with 25 points. With three more deep runs at the NPS, his Friday winnings came out to nearly ₹4.12 Lakhs, plus another ₹1.04 Lakhs from a fifth-place finish in Adda52’s The Ballers, for a total Friday haul of over ₹5.16 Lakhs.
Gopal Bajaj wasn’t far behind, pocketing two Silver Medals—₹2.68 Lakhs in the NPS#174 and ₹1.87 Lakhs in the NPS#173 Marathon—for a combined ₹4.59 Lakhs across three cashes. Already a two-time Gold Medal winner in this series, Bajaj has now become one of only nine players to win two medals in a single day. His latest results pushed him to the top of the Maharashtra State Leaderboard with 30 points, narrowly edging out PokerBaazi Team Pro Zarvan Tumboli. He now ranks #6 on the NPC Leaderboard and #19 on the PokerBaazi 2025 POY Leaderboard.
Bharat Vasan also doubled down by winning the NPS#176 Megadive, taking home ₹3.93 Lakhs — his biggest score of the year on the platform — and locking in his second Gold Medal of the series (fourth overall). The win, five other NPS cashes and a deep run in Adda52’s The Ballers resulted in a Friday take-home of just under ₹4.42 Lakhs. Now holding three NPS medals this series (nine NPS medals total), Vasan sits at #2 on the Uttar Pradesh State Leaderboard, tied at 25 points with three others in what has become a cutthroat race. He also jumped to #11 on the NPS Series Leaderboard. Vasan had to get past Snehil Aggarwal in the Megadive. Aggarwal added his second Silver Medal and an incredible sixth medal for the series (seven overall) with a ₹2.74 Lakhs payout. Aggarwal cashed in three other NPS events on Friday for total earnings of just under ₹3.20 Lakhs.
The other Gold Medal winners of the day included Tamil Nadu’s Aditya Sushant (Won NPS#171 (PLO-5) Knockout (KO) for ₹3 Lakhs), Kerela State Leaderboard topper Sreekanth Narayan (Won NPS#173 Marathon for ₹2.20 Lakhs) and Maharashtra’s Kamal Punjabi (Won NPS#172 Slamdunk for ₹1.69 Lakhs).
With the grand finale of NPS India 2025 just days away, the leaderboard drama is at an all-time high. Bhanu Prakash KC remains immovable at the top of the NPS Series Leaderboard, holding 35,940 points across a mind-blowing 146 cashes. Rising Star Aman Parakh, after holding the #3 spot for weeks, has finally climbed to #2, overtaking Vinay Rajpal with 32,930 points from 136 cashes. Rajpal is still within striking distance in third with 32,740 points from 152 cashes, all of them chasing that massive ₹30 Lakhs top prize.
The day was packed with notable victories across multiple platforms from Rising Star Ritwik Khanna, Praveen KR (who won 2 titles), Yogesh Kumar, Satya Pal Verma, Sahil Verma, Ramu Kushwaha, Jatin Sablani and Pranav Khandalkar.

The National Poker Series India 2025 is in its final throes, and the heat radiating from the poker tables is intense enough to melt steel. Players are scrambling, clawing, and fighting for every last medal. Day 26, the fourth-to-last day, was another fiery chapter in this epic poker narrative. Seven flagship tournaments blazed across the virtual felt, along with qualifiers for the colossal ₹10 Crores GTD NPS#191 Main Event and the ₹1 Crore GTD NPS#190 Golden Rush. The action was non-stop, just like it’s been all series.
The fight for leaderboard supremacy is ferocious, with players putting their bodies on the line, all chasing a seat at India’s first-ever National Poker Champion showdown in Goa next month. The sheer excitement is reflected in the numbers: 9,114 entries flooded the PokerBaazi tables on Friday, sending the day’s prize pool skyrocketing to ₹2.53 Crores – a mind-blowing 26.50% above the ₹2 Crores guaranteed. This is the second day in a row the series has paid out over 25% more than promised, and it’s a safe bet this trend will continue through the final weekend. The series has now shelled out a breathtaking ₹88.33 Crores, completely obliterating the ₹78.75 Crores guaranteed so far.
While Day 26 saw a surge of repeat champions – four of the seven winners snagged their second Gold Medals – the real headline-grabber was Priyanka ‘prj12345’ Singh. She delivered a career-defining performance in the day’s showstopper, the ₹60 Lakhs GTD NPS#175 (PLO-5) HighRoller. After a gruelling 9.5 hours of high-stakes PLO combat, Singh conquered the guarantee-crushing field of 769 entries (331 unique), seizing her first-ever NPS Gold Medal and a personal-best ₹8.60 Lakhs, thanks to a four-way deal.
This win was more than just a title—it was validation, vindication, and a crowning achievement in what has been a long, winding poker journey.
Singh, a PokerBaazi veteran since December 2016, has experienced the highs and lows of the game. But this week, the tides turned. On Wednesday, she captured her first-ever NPS medal, a Silver, in the NPS#162 (PLO-4) HighRoller, pocketing a then-career-best ₹6.05 Lakhs (also part of a four-way deal). Riding that wave of momentum and clearly dialled into her PLO game, she went all the way on Friday, conquering the NPS#175 (PLO-5) HighRoller, eclipsing her previous best, and becoming the day’s biggest winner.
These consecutive achievements have cemented Singh’s place in the NPS India 2025 history books. She’s the only female player to win two medals at this year’s series, a standout among the five-odd women who’ve medalled. She also joins the ranks of 100 players who’ve achieved multiple-medal status, emphasizing the significance of her feat. Moreover, she’s one of only 17 players to win Gold for Karnataka and one of a select nine from that state to win multiple medals. This stunning run has catapulted her to #5 on the Karnataka State Leaderboard. While her overall record might still show losses, this powerful resurgence after a prolonged downswing is a crystal-clear indicator that she’s dramatically turning her game around.
Priyanka Singh’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹76.39 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #1 | Moves to #5 on the Karnataka State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 1 Gold & 1 Silver | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹21.76 Lakhs
Singh’s path to Gold was no walk in the park, especially with PokerBaazi Team Pro Zarvan ‘MomSaid5Bet’ Tumboli blocking her way! This well-known pro continued his phenomenal performance at the NPS India 2025, adding an amazing fifth medal to his collection last night in the NPS#175 (PLO-5) HighRoller.

Tumboli, a live MTT powerhouse, is more celebrated for his accomplishments at cash games and live tournaments throughout Asia. He’s a long-standing threat on the live scene, boasting two WPT titles, four APT trophies, and the Poker Dream 8 Malaysia Main Event title. But this NPS series represents a bold shift – a determined dive into the online MTT grind, and he’s been crushing it!
Before the NPS kicked off, he declared on social media his intention to play every single event – and 26 days later, he’s a man of his word, having registered for all 177 events thus far!
This dedication has yielded incredible results. Tumboli started with a bang, winning Gold in the NPS#6 Marathon. He swiftly followed it up with consecutive Silver Medals in the NPS#14 (PLO-6) Megadive and NPS#20 (PLO-5), racking up three medals within the series’ first three days – an incredible accomplishment. He added another Silver in NPS#67 Tuesday Tornado, claiming the top spot on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard.
In the NPS#175 (PLO-5) HighRoller, Tumboli came tantalizingly close to another Gold, finishing as runner-up and collecting ₹5.43 Lakhs after a four-way deal. This is his fifth medal of the series (one Gold and four Silver), putting him in an elite group of only seven players to win five or more medals this NPS. He stands alone as the only player to have accumulated four Silver Medals in this series.
Despite this incredible run, Tumboli relinquished the top spot on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard after a 15-day reign. Gopal Bajaj, who grabbed two Silver Medals last night (bringing his total to 4 medals: 2 Gold & 2 Silver) – making him one of ten players this series to claim two medals in a single night – now leads the pack. While both players have 30 points, Bajaj’s two Gold Medals (versus Tumboli’s one) give him the upper hand, placing him at #6 on the NPC Leaderboard. Tumboli now needs at least one more medal to grab a seat in the National Poker Champion showdown in Goa – the Maharashtra State Leaderboard top spot is almost certainly a ticket to that offline faceoff. Can Tumboli pull it off, will Bajaj hold him at bay, or will a dark horse emerge to claim that coveted seat? The suspense is building!

Tumboli clearly meant business when he committed to the entire NPS. His seven-event Friday grind resulted in four cashes, boosting his earnings by nearly ₹5.88 Lakhs. He’s currently ranked #19 on the NPS Series Leaderboard with 26,991 points from 106 cashes and has jumped to #11 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard, a noteworthy accomplishment considering his usual preference for live play.

Entering the fray twice, he finished third in the NPS#175 (PLO-5) HighRoller, taking home ₹5.60 Lakhs (four-way deal) along with a Bronze Medal (his second career Bronze and fourth medal in total). This made him one of 100 players with the rare distinction of multiple medals in this series and the third player from Bihar to achieve this, boosting him to #3 on the state leaderboard.

Singh scored in four additional NPS events, resulting in total Friday winnings close to a lavish ₹5.89 Lakhs, leaping to #44 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard.

Arman ‘qbranch’ Khan (opted out of our tracking), known for conquering the 2022 APT Online India Sunday Major trophy and a recent NPS#54 Big Knockout (PKO) Silver Medallist, finished fourth in the NPS#175 (PLO-5) HighRoller, pocketing ₹5.03 Lakhs from the deal – his fourth-largest score on PokerBaazi. An additional cash finish pushed his Friday take to over ₹5.10 Lakhs.

Arman Khan’s NPS stats: Moves to #5 on the Chandigarh State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 1 Silver | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹23.59 Lakhs
The NPS#175 (PLO-5) HighRoller final table also featured strong performances by NPS#154 Big Knockout (PKO) Gold Medallist Prashanth ‘mcp1212’ Chandrasekhar (5th for ₹2.75 Lakhs) and ‘nachos‘ (6th for ₹2.08 Lakhs).

With a ₹11,500 buy-in, the NPS#175 (PLO-5) HighRoller was, without a doubt, the biggest draw of the day at the NPS, and the event delivered on all counts. It smashed its advertised guarantee by over 28%, generating a blazing ₹76.90 Lakhs prize pool. The top 138 finishers all walked away with a piece of the pie, with even a min-cash worth ₹19,225, a clear sign that the final weekend of the NPS India 2025 will be one for the ages.

The NPS India 2025 is speeding toward a dramatic finish, and the desperation to snag those coveted medals is at an all-time high! We’re down to the wire, with just three days left, and Day 26 was an all-out detonation. Forget modest gains – the guaranteed prize pool wasn’t just beaten; it was utterly demolished by more than 25% for the second day running, resulting in a staggering ₹2.53 Crores paid out, dwarfing the ₹2 Crores that were initially on offer.
Day 26 was defined by players going for broke. A remarkable four of the seven champions locked in their second Gold Medal of the series. Among these repeat champions was Ayush ‘ClassMonitor’ Goyal, who orchestrated yet another poker clinic in PokerBaazi’s ₹30 Lakhs GTD NPS#177 (7-Max) SPRINT, taking home a career-high ₹4.77 Lakhs and, of course, that gleaming second Gold Medal.

Friday’s NPS#177 (7-Max) SPRINT was the day’s grand finale, kicking off at the usual 9:30 PM. But with the earlier events going nuclear, it was clear this was going to be big. And it was. A colossal 1,382 entries (628 unique) crammed in, ready for a late-night brawl. After seven hours and eleven minutes of intense, grinding poker, Goyal – after needing five entries to get his engine running – crushed the massive field, grabbing his second career NPS Gold Medal. He even managed a deep run in the NPS#173 Marathon (172nd for ₹2,917), taking his total Friday earnings to nearly ₹4.80 Lakhs.
Goyal’s story is one of the many inspiring narratives unfolding at this year’s NPS. He arrived with zero medals and is now sporting a pair of Golds! He struck early, grabbing his first Gold in the NPS#10 Megadive on the series’ second day. Since then, he’s been a constant presence, participating in 161 events and cashing in over half (63).
He’s had five final table appearances just this season – his most recent before this in the NPS#170 (7-Max) SPRINT on Thursday – and this latest win catapults him to #2 on the Rajasthan State Leaderboard with 20 points. He’s breathing down the neck of state leaderboard frontrunner Anish Vijayvergia, who’s only two points ahead. One more medal in these final three days could completely rewrite the script, especially with Vijayvergiya already sitting pretty at #8 on the NPC Leaderboard, suggesting a strong chance of the Rajasthan Leaderboard king making that National Poker Champion face-off in Goa.

Ayush Goyal’s online stats (PokerBaazi and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹83.56 Lakhs | Lifetime Profits: ₹17.70 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #3 | Moves to #2 on the Rajasthan State Leaderboard | Moves to #43 on the NPS Series Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 2 Gold | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹23.58 Lakhs
Ganesh ‘Ganesh24’ Durgade, a PokerBaazi mid-stakes regular with a proven track record at the NPS (four medals from previous editions), also made serious noise in the NPS#177 (7-Max) SPRINT. And this time, he completed his collection. Durgade had already snatched a Gold in the NPS#30 Slamdunk and a Bronze in the NPS#43 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT. Friday night, he snagged the Silver in the (7-Max) SPRINT (his third medal of the series and seventh overall), padding his bankroll by ₹3.33 Lakhs and bringing his Friday loot to just shy of ₹3.61 Lakhs from four deep runs. He’s now climbed to #7 on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard, sitting at 17 points, though he has some serious ground to make up on the leaders.

Unmesh ‘Unmesh’ Nair, another online grinder, locked down the third-place spot on the NPS#177 (7-Max) SPRINT podium. He scored a career-best ₹2.56 Lakhs, earning his second Bronze of the series after a similar finish in the NPS#70 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT.
Nair also put in some serious work, notching five deep runs (including a final table finish in NPS#171 (PLO-5) Knockout (KO)), and padded his bankroll with close to ₹3.35 Lakhs. He’s rocketed to #3 on the Kerala State Leaderboard, a leaderboard currently dominated by Sreekanth Narayan, who boasts a five-medal collection (including his second Gold last night) and 32 points, making him a near-certainty for the NPC face-off!

The NPS#177 (7-Max) SPRINT final table was stacked. Clinton ‘OnlyTens’ Tavares finished fourth, taking home ₹1.87 Lakhs. Vikhyat ‘supersaiyan57’ Ahlawat, the current Uttar Pradesh State Leaderboard leader and a two-time Gold Medallist (NPS#12 Monday Marathon and NPS#29 (7-Max) SPRINT), came in fifth, pocketing ₹1.36 Lakh. Nandan ‘ragemonster’ Pugalia, already holding a Bronze from the NPS#154 Big Knockout (PKO), finished sixth for ₹99,504. And Abhijeet ‘ERROR404’ Kumar, the NPS#8 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT Gold Medallist, rounded out the final table in seventh place, earning ₹76,286.
And, in a pattern that’s becoming the norm in these final, frantic days of the NPS India 2025, the ₹3,450 buy-in NPS#177 (7-Max) SPRINT didn’t just surpass its guarantee, it set it ablaze. The event generated a fiery ₹41.46 Lakhs prize pool – a whopping 38% more than promised. The top 226 finishers all walked away with something, with a minimum payout of ₹5,804. This is precisely the kind of explosive energy we expect as this historic series approaches its grand climax.

It’s a full-court press as the record-smashing NPS India 2025 charges through its closing stretch. Friday, Day 26, saw the action cranked up even higher, with guarantees getting crushed left and right. The clock is ticking down to grab one of those final 12 golden tickets in the National Poker Champion showdown in Goa, and with the fresh “Kya Poker Khelta Hai Tu” campaign set to ignite the IPL 2025 broadcast on Jio Hotstar, PokerBaazi is going all-in to cement its position as the top dog in the Indian online poker scene.
But Friday belonged to some familiar faces making another power play, and among them was Bharat ‘Thinkfloyd’ Vasan, who roared onto the scene, dominating PokerBaazi’s ₹25 Lakhs GTD NPS#176 Megadive and making a strong case for his own spot in that Goa finale.

Vasan is practically PokerBaazi royalty – the 2024 Indian Poker Masters leaderboard king, entering this year’s series with a trophy cabinet already gleaming with six NPS medals! He’d already snagged a Silver in the NPS#13 Deepdive and a Gold in the NPS#151 Deepdive. Friday night, he doubled down on that success, conquering a massive, guarantee-busting 1,369-entry field (659 unique) in the 8:30 PM NPS#176 Megadive. The event lived up to its name, stretching over a gruelling 9.5 hours. When the dust settled, it was Vasan standing tall, pocketing a hefty ₹3.94 Lakhs – his biggest score of the year on the platform, achieved with just two entries. This win delivered his second NPS Gold of the series (his fourth Gold overall) and his third NPS medal of the year (bringing his total medal count to a staggering nine overall).
This win makes Vasan one of 100 players to grab multiple medals this series and the 20th from Uttar Pradesh to strike Gold. His two-medal collection now catapults him to #2 on the Uttar Pradesh State Leaderboard, trailing only Vikhyat Ahlawat. With Vasan, Ahlawat, Arush Pratap, and Nitesh Katiyar all locked at 25 points, the Uttar Pradesh leaderboard has become a no-holds-barred war, a battle that promises to go down to the last hand.

Vasan’s ambition wasn’t limited to the Megadive. He cashed in five other NPS events (going deep in all but one of the day`s featured tournaments) and even made a deep run in Adda52’s The Ballers, resulting in a Friday haul that fell just short of ₹4.42 Lakhs. His tireless efforts have yielded rich rewards — with a mind-boggling 118 cashes, he’s now #11 on the NPS Series Leaderboard with 28,560 points, and you can bet he’ll be looking to climb even higher in these final days!
> 1st in PokerBaazi’s NPS#176 Deepdive for ₹3,93,588

The NPS#176 Megadive ended in a head-to-head battle between two of the series’ most dominant players: Bharat Vasan and Snehil ‘GTORanges’ Aggarwal. Aggarwal entered the Megadive with guns blazing, aiming for a record-breaking fourth Gold of the series. He fought like a lion but narrowly missed the win, settling for his second Silver Medal (his seventh NPS medal overall and sixth of the series) along with a substantial ₹2.74 Lakhs.

Aggarwal, who had just one medal before the series, has been on a heater of a lifetime! He scored a Gold in the NPS#14 (PLO-6) Megadive, followed by a Bronze in the NPS#35 Marathon. This week, he’s shifted into hyperdrive – grabbing a Bronze in Tuesday’s NPS#155 (PLO-5) Knockout (PKO), then delivering a breathtaking performance on Wednesday with two medals in a single night: a Gold in NPS#162 (PLO-4) HighRoller (now-revoked) and a Bronze in NPS#163 (6-Max) Hyper SPRINT. Aggarwal now holds the record for being the first-ever player in NPS history to win medals on four consecutive days.
This result further tightens Aggarwal`s grip on the #1 spot on the Haryana State Leaderboard, where he now holds a commanding 31 points, miles ahead of Mohit Mehta and Mayank Jaggi (both at 19 points). He’s also holding strong at #5 on the NPC Leaderboard!

Aggarwal has been a relentless machine. He’s participated in 176 of the 177 NPS events so far, cashing in an unbelievable 119 of them. His NPS 2025 winnings have reached a staggering ₹44.10 Lakhs, and his all-time NPS earnings now stand at an impressive ₹55.72 Lakhs.
Staying true to his reputation, Aggarwal cashed in three additional NPS events on Day 26 for a total Friday payday of just under ₹3.20 Lakhs. He currently occupies the #5 spot on the NPS Series Leaderboard with 30,100 points from 118 cashes and #15 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard.

And adding even more fuel to the fire, Young Gun Shardul ‘duuurrrr’ Parthasarathi, the Mumbai-based poker sensation, continued his impressive streak at NPS India 2025. He has also completely rewritten his NPS legacy, going from zero medals at the series’ start to four now. After two close Silver Medal finishes in the NPS#91 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT and the NPS#153 (4-Max) Hyper and a Bronze in the NPS#26 (7-Max) Championship, , Parthasarathi added another medal to his expanding collection.

Friday night, he notched his second Bronze of the year – and fourth NPS medal overall – with a third-place finish in NPS#176 Megadive, claiming ₹2.11 Lakhs for his efforts.
But the grind didn’t stop there. Parthasarathi cashed in four more events on the day, rounding out his Friday winnings at over ₹2.59 Lakhs. His consistent deep runs and sheer volume have earned him the #26 spot on the NPS Series Leaderboard, and he’s now cracked into the top 15 on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard, landing at #14 with, coincidentally, 14 points, though still far behind the leaders.

The colossal NPS India 2025 is down to the wire, with the finish line in sight on Monday – but don’t expect anyone to take their foot off the gas! Friday, Day 26, was another day of shattered guarantees, and among the four players snagging their second Gold Medals was Delhi’s own Ridhav ‘Rids’ Chawla. This online powerhouse, a former The MoneyMaker champion, torched PokerBaazi’s ₹25 Lakhs GTD NPS#174 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT, adding another golden chapter to his poker story, following his career-best Gold win in the NPS#114 Mini High Roller last Tuesday!

Chawla’s been playing a calculated game, also holding a Silver Medal from the NPS#78 Megadive. But Friday was all about making a statement. He unleashed a performance for the books in the 6:30 PM turbo-charged NPS #174 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT, firing five bullets to get the job done. He outlasted a guarantee-crushing field of 453 players (1,079 total entries), reaching the top spot in a rapid-fire showdown that wrapped up in four hours and 11 minutes! The victory brought him his third-career NPS Gold medal (his second Gold and third medal of the series, and fifth overall) and a sweet ₹3.86 Lakhs to pad his bankroll!
This three-medal collection has Chawla sitting pretty at #4 on the Delhi State Leaderboard with 25 points, but he’s still staring down a 10-point gap from the current leader, three-time Gold Medallist Saahib Bawa. More medals are a must if he wants to punch his ticket to the NPC showdown in Goa.
And the winnings didn’t stop there! Chawla added three more NPS cashes for a total Friday NPS haul of nearly ₹4.12 Lakhs. But Chawla’s a grinder through and through, and he went on to finish fifth in Adda52’s The Ballers, adding another ₹1.05 Lakhs for a total take-home of over ₹5.16 Lakhs. This incredible run also bumped him up to #28 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard.

Then there was Gopal ‘AiDarwin’ Bajaj, the young poker phenomenon from Maharashtra and an NPS newcomer, who had a score to settle – he was on a mission to conquer the state leaderboard! A proven champion with a trophy case already overflowing with NPS medals, four from the current series, including two Golds in NPS#47 Slamdunk and NPS#73 Marathon.

Bajaj tacked on another two Silvers to his haul last night, finishing runner-up in both the NPS#174 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT (₹2.68 Lakhs), where he fired four bullets and in the NPS#173 Marathon (₹1.87 Lakhs), after three entries. This places him among a select group of just nine players to win two medals in a single day in this series! With an extra cash finish thrown in, Bajaj’s Friday winnings added up to a delicious almost ₹4.59 Lakhs.
These back-to-back Silver Medals have Bajaj now commanding the Maharashtra State Leaderboard with 30 points, dethroning long-standing leader PokerBaazi Team Pro Zarvan Tumboli after his 15-day rule. He’s also in a tense standoff with Tumboli (who boasts the same point total with a Gold and four Silvers – one of those Silvers earned last night), but Bajaj’s two Golds give him the upper hand. It’s going to be a white-knuckle race to see who ultimately claims that NPC seat in this fierce rivalry! On top of that, Bajaj is now #6 on the NPC Leaderboard and #19 on PokerBaazi`s 2025 POY Leaderboard.

Joining Chawla and Bajaj on the NPS#174 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT podium was ‘Sanoritaa,’ a player who’s only been active since July 2022. They fired two bullets in the fast-paced event, earning their first-ever NPS medal, a gleaming Bronze and a site-best ₹2.05 Lakhs – wiping out almost 25% of their previous losses on the platform. This top-three finish also landed them at #21 on the Rajasthan State Leaderboard.
Sanoritaa’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹9.96 Lakhs | Moves to #21 on the Rajasthan State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 1 Bronze | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹4.34 Lakhs
The NPS#174 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT final table also featured determined runs by NPS#136 Marathon Silver Medallist Nikesh ‘Durr102’ Chawla (4th for ₹1.53 Lakhs) and Sagar ‘Thefatfish87’ Suri (5th for ₹1.11 Lakhs).

In line with the Hyper events throughout NPS India 2025, and adding to a day overflowing with shattered guarantees, the NPS#174 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT, with its ₹3,450 buy-in, was another huge hit. It obliterated its guarantee, creating a juicy ₹32.37 Lakhs prize pool – over 29% larger than the promised kitty. The tournament paid out the top 186 players, each locking in at least ₹5,827, keeping the record-breaking momentum alive as this incredible series races towards its grand finale.

The NPS India 2025 is delivering one knockout performance after another – and Friday was another round of pure poker fireworks! With the series hurtling towards its conclusion, Aditya ‘gangajal’ Sushant, one of original Young Guns, India’s first-ever WSOP bracelet winner, and a two-time The MoneyMaker champion, roared back into the spotlight!

Known for epic performances like winning the 2019 Diwali Rush Main Event and his runner-up finish in the 2022 Baazi Poker Tour Main Event, Sushant finally ended a long six-month title drought – his last victory was in Adda52’s The Ballers last September.
He’s been hunting for that breakthrough, and Friday night, he found it. His comeback vehicle was PokerBaazi`s gritty, grind-heavy ₹25 Lakhs GTD NPS#171 (PLO-5) Knockout (KO) – the opening salvo on Day 26 of the NPS India 2025. With a ₹2,875 buy-in and a guarantee-crushing 1,295-entry field (443 unique), the stage was set for a classic. Sushant, undeterred by the competition, fired two bullets and endured a gruelling ten-hour-plus battle to seize the crown – collecting ₹3.06 Lakhs (₹6,000 in bounties), his biggest score of the year on PokerBaazi, his first medal of the series (a Gold!), and his third NPS medal overall. A long-awaited return to the winner’s circle, and executed with style!
But the night didn’t end there. Sushant went all-in on the NPS grind, cashing in four more NPS events for a Friday windfall of over ₹3.25 Lakhs. That surge sent him rocketing up to #27 on the NPS Series Leaderboard – fueled by an astounding 114 cashes from 176 events played – and to #87 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard.
On the Tamil Nadu State Leaderboard, Sushant now finds himself firmly in the #4 spot with 10 points, right in the middle of a heated intra-state battle. Ashish Munot still leads with 17 points, but Aniket Jain (12 points) and Raghav Ananth (11 points) are in hot pursuit, with Sushant now a serious threat right behind them. With this Gold now providing a massive boost, the final stretch of this high-stakes series promises even more drama.

Kritagya ‘Foldnhihota’ Sharma, fresh off a stunning victory in the NPS#82 Mega Rush and a string of solid finishes, came incredibly close to claiming Gold again in the NPS#171 (PLO-5) Knockout (KO). After fighting through the vast field with four entries, Sharma just missed the top spot, finishing runner-up and collecting a hefty ₹2.24 Lakhs, including ₹15,000 in bounties – his second career NPS Silver Medal (also his second medal of the series). This boosted him on the Delhi State Leaderboard, where he now sits at #11.

Sharma also snagged another cash in NPS#177 (6-Max) SPRINT, finishing 117th for ₹7,877, bringing his total Friday winnings to over ₹2.31 Lakhs.

Adding to Maharashtra’s medal count, ‘makk02’ made a big splash on the NPS#171 (PLO-5) Knockout (KO) podium. After already reaching the final table of NPS#123 (PLO-6) Deepdive, ‘makk02’ continued their strong form, firing two bullets in the Knockout (KO) to finish third, earning a sweet ₹1.64 Lakhs, including ₹3,500 in bounties, a score that’s 4X their previous best on the platform and almost wiped out all their past losses from the last five years in one fell swoop. But more than the money, this run gave them their first-ever NPS medal, a well-earned Bronze.

We called it! We said that once Sreekanth ‘n0thing’ Narayan hit his stride, he’d be unstoppable. And that prediction played out perfectly on Friday night. The G.O.A.T. 2.0 runner-up and 2023 POY #2 demolished PokerBaazi’s ₹20 Lakhs GTD NPS#173 Marathon, grabbing his second Gold Medal of the series after a heads-up deal that lined his pockets with ₹2.20 Lakhs.

The NPS India 2025 has been a stage for incredible comebacks, and Narayan is crafting a legendary one for himself! He arrived at the series with zero NPS Medals, and now he’s sporting a collection of five – a truly astonishing transformation. His medal spree started with a Silver in the NPS#47 Slamdunk, followed by another Silver in the NPS#138 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT. He snagged his first-ever Gold in the NPS#157 Megadive on Wednesday, added a Bronze in the NPS#170 (7-Max) SPRINT on Thursday, and capped off the hattrick with Friday’s Marathon Gold – that`s three medals on consecutive days for this beast!
The NPS#173 Marathon began at 5:30 PM and attracted a bustling 1,389-entry field (639 unique). Narayan navigated through almost ten hours of intense poker – nine hours and 46 minutes, to be precise – to emerge as the last player standing.
Narayan’s blazing hot medal streak (2 Gold, 2 Silver, and 1 Bronze) has him dominating the Kerala State Leaderboard, where he now sits with a commanding 32 points. Navaneeth Krishna PK, his closest competitor, is far behind with 5 points. Narayan is, without a doubt, the first player virtually guaranteed a spot in the NPC showdown in Goa next month. He is currently ranked #4 on the NPC Leaderboard.
But Narayan had fuel to burn and went on to score in three other NPS events for a combined Friday plunder of over ₹2.48 Lakhs. With that kind of momentum, it’s no surprise he’s now landed at #43 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard.
> 1st in PokerBaazi’s NPS#173 Marathon for ₹2,19,671* (heads-up deal)
> 49th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#164 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT for ₹13,919
> 143rd in PokerBaazi’s NPS#177 (6-Max) SPRINT for ₹7,877
> 38th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#172 Slamdunk for ₹6,900
Sreekanth Narayan’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52, PokerStars India and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹12.39 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹5.50 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #2 | Ranked #1 on the Kerala State Leaderboard | Moves to #4 on the NPC Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 2 Gold, 2 Silver & 1 Bronze | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹36.30 Lakhs
But the path to that second Gold wasn’t a cakewalk. Narayan had to face a familiar foe in Gopal ‘AiDarwin’ Bajaj, a formidable opponent in his own right, who, incredibly, is scripting his own comeback story at this year’s NPS. He, too, started the series without a single NPS Medal and has completely flipped the script, now boasting four. After striking Gold in both the NPS#47 Slamdunk (where Narayan finished second) and the NPS#73 Marathon, he came this close to becoming only the second player after Saahib Bawa to win two Gold Medals in a single day. While that particular dream remained just out of reach, Bajaj still managed a new milestone, becoming the first player in the series to score two Silver Medals in back-to-back events this season.

He fired four bullets in the NPS#173 Marathon before taking the runner-up spot and a payout of ₹1.87 Lakhs, thanks to the heads-up deal, with Narayan getting a bit of payback! Earlier in the evening, he placed second in the NPS#174 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT, adding ₹2.68 Lakhs after a three-bullet investment. With a small additional score in the NPS#172 Slamdunk, Bajaj’s Friday earnings totalled a commendable ₹4.59 Lakhs.
Bajaj’s double-Silver performance has catapulted him to the top of the Maharashtra State Leaderboard with 30 points. While PokerBaazi Team Pro Zarvan Tumboli is tied with Bajaj on points, holding a Gold and four Silvers – one of which he won last night – Bajaj currently leads due to his two Gold Medals, one more than Tumboli. It’s a neck-and-neck race to see who will represent Maharashtra at the NPC showdown. Bajaj has also climbed to #6 on the National Poker Champion Leaderboard and #17 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard.

Haryana’s ‘Safari25’ rounded out the podium in the NPS#173 Marathon, taking home a site-best ₹1.29 Lakhs for third place and their first-ever NPS medal, a Bronze.
The NPS#173 Marathon final table was a murderer’s row of familiar faces, including the NPS#103 (7-Max) SPRINT Gold Medallist Sanjay ‘smr1g10’ Mohan (5th for ₹68,339), the NPS#46 (PLO-4) Megadive Silver Medallist, Natural8 India Executive Director and Ambassador Kunal ‘VasooliChacha’ Patni (6th for ₹50,004) and the current Rajasthan State Leaderboard frontrunner Anish ‘Fishlover001’ Vijayvergiya (8th for ₹29,794).
Adding to the record-breaking Friday excitement at the NPS India 2025, the ₹1,725 buy-in NPS#173 Marathon also surpassed its guarantee, generating a tempting ₹20.84 Lakhs prize pool. The top 226 finishers received payouts, with the min-cash coming in at ₹2,917 — almost double the buy-in. These last few days promise pure poker fireworks.

It’s officially GO time at NPS India 2025, with the ₹100 Crores monster series down to its last three days! Friday, Day 26, was another day of guarantees getting smashed, and while repeat champions were a big part of the story (four players snagged their second Gold Medals), three long-time grinders finally got their moment in the sun!
One of those grinders was Kamal ‘syrubinek’ Punjabi, a mid-stakes master, and his chosen arena was the ₹15 Lakhs GTD NPS#172 Slamdunk! The most accessible event on the schedule, the 4 PM flagship, lit up the virtual felt with a scorching 1,831 entries (443 unique), kicking off a high-energy eight-hour and 22-minute battle, but Punjabi reigned supreme. Starting the new year with a bang, winning three tournaments (Freeze Out Adda, Voyager, and the Iron Man), and just five days after conquering the MMA Monster Stack, he powered his way to his first-ever NPS medal (a Gold!) and fifth title of the year, pocketing a sweet ₹1.69 Lakhs top prize and jumping to #21 on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard – all with a single entry.

Kamal Punjabi’s online stats: (PokerBaazi, Adda52, PokerStars India and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹1.13 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹29.17 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #5 | Moves to #32 on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 1 Gold | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹2.84 Lakhs
But the NPS#172 Slamdunk wasn’t a one-man show. Delhi’s Rishab Malik—a three-time The Millionaire champion, the 2022 NPS#3 Sunday Deepdive Gold Medallist who recently grabbed a Bronze in the NPS#102 Big Knockout (KO)—was hot on his heels, chasing his second career NPS Gold. He came incredibly close, taking home a well-deserved Silver and ₹1,16,100 after putting in two entries (his third NPS medal overall).

Showing his all-around poker prowess in four more tournaments (three at the NPS), Malik, this year’s two-time The Ballers champion, padded his bankroll with over ₹1.72 Lakhs in total winnings! The Silver Medal, on top of the previous Bronze, boosted him to #22 on the Delhi State Leaderboard. Still, it’s more about maximizing these final days, with a seat at the NPC showdown looking unlikely given his current standing.
