One of the most consistent grinders of the domestic circuit, Ashish Munot (annual winnings – ₹2.25 Crores), has retained and extended his lead in the yearly rankings. Online Rankings: Divyanshu Agrawal Makes His Debut as #1 Ranked Player of the Week; Ashish Munot Extends Lead on the Monthly & Annual Leaderboard
In this feature, we bring you to the top three weekly, monthly, and yearly performers every Sunday. These rankings are based on cumulative winnings (cashes). However, the rankings only include players registered to our online ranking system, so hurry up and register if you haven’t signed up on PokerGuru yet!
The financial year-end is just around the corner, and this week was similar to the last, with nothing much to write home about. Given the subdued action, the top ranks on the annual and monthly leaderboards kept the status quo.
Ashish Munot (annual winnings – ₹2.02 Crores), who has already won two massive Super High Rollers this year, is still the player to catch on the yearly and monthly standings and the only one with over ₹2 Crores in annual earnings.
Although the “OG,” Munot, holds a commendable ₹29.50+ Lakhs lead over his closest competition, in poker, anything is possible. Young Gun’s Gaurav Sood (annual winnings – ₹1.73 Crores) and Arsh Grover (annual winnings – ₹1.66 Crores) finished the week how they entered it, ranked #2 and #3 on the yearly leaderboard, respectively.
However, with Spartan Poker’s India Turbo Masters (ITM) and PokerBaazi’s National Poker Series (NPS) rearing to go, a big Sunday haul by any leaderboard warrior can stir up the POY standings.
Like the annual rankings, the top three on the March leaderboard remained unchanged from last week, with Ashish Munot (monthly winnings – 84.20 Lakhs), Laksh Pal Singh (monthly winnings – ₹73.77 Lakhs), and Srihari Bang (monthly winnings – ₹73.45 Lakhs) retaining their #1, #2 and #3 positions.

The current POY race frontrunner, Ashish Munot, has left all the March contenders fighting for the #2 spot. After pulling out an absolute blinder of a run in the first half of the month, Munot kept the flow going towards the end of the financial year (2022-23), fortifying his lead on the monthly standings even further.
This past week he shipped PokerBaazi’s The Endeavour (₹4.11 Lakhs) and finished third in Spartan Poker’s Tuesday High Roller (₹2.23 Lakhs), gathering a flamboyant ₹82.39 Lakhs backed by a sweet ₹55.06 Lakhs in profits.

The IOPC 7.0 The Millionaire Main Event champion, Srihari Bang, made a sparkling comeback to the online felts this month. The 23-year-old poker pro has accumulated a lofty ₹73.45 Lakhs in March from 17 ITM scores and a corresponding ₹49.67 Lakhs in net profits.
After securing the #2 rank in the March standings last week, courtesy of his masterful run in PokerBaazi’s The MoneyMaker 30.0, followed by a dazzling performance in Spartan Poker’s Final Table Series 6.0, he went on an unannounced hiatus. Bang’s MIA status opened the door for Laksh Pal Singh to take over the #2 rank, relating Bang to #3.

Spartan Poker’s India Turbo Masters 3.0 and PokerBaazi’s National Poker Series India 2023 sport a series of big-ticket events, which will give many other top pros plenty of opportunities to challenge Munot. On the other hand, Munot could easily pull further ahead should he bink another Super High Roller – something he is more than capable of pulling off.
Munot now has ₹2.02 Crores in annual winnings (₹1.33 Crores in profits), making him the first player to hit the ₹2 Crore milestone his year.

Despite his stellar win, Ahuja was not the week`s top scorer as WSOP bracelet winner Abhinav Iyer stole the show. The Young Gun‘s spectacular runs saw him accumulating ₹54.80 Lakhs this week, including two FTS gold medallions and The Master Table victory that landed him a Las Vegas package worth ₹10 Lakhs. PokerSaint has recently launched a captivating promotion named ‘Ace It,’ which spans 28 days and offers cash game players an opportunity to win from the guaranteed ₹10.50 Crores in rewards on the cash tables.
While the online tournaments have been low-key since the start of the week, the live action at the 2023 WPT Prime Cambodia has not. As of March 14, the Indian contingent at the series has registered 36 cashes, including 12 final table finishes and a title win.
Headlining the Indian scorecard in Cambodia is Vikaash Shah, with his runner-up finish in the NagaWorld Millions for $35,170.
