Bharat ‘rungooserun’ Vasan‘s 2024 poker campaign roared into high gear this Thursday, culminating in a crowning achievement – his first Adda52 ₹25 Lakhs GTD Godfather title! But that wasn’t all; the night was a whirlwind of success, with a final table finish in PokerBaazi’s WTF and two other deep runs, pushing his online tournament winnings past a monumental ₹6 Crores milestone!

 

Vasan’s Godfather journey was a masterclass in perseverance. He battled a gruelling nine-hour marathon with three entries in a field of 431 (205 unique). His ₹4.53 Lakhs prize marked not just his maiden Godfather title but his third-highest Adda52 score to date, finally getting him his first victory this year after two close podium finishes since his Daily HighRoller win on December 29.

Adding to the night’s drama was Rajat ‘oshoswami’ Sharma, fresh off his Sunday Showdown victory, making waves in the Godfather himself. The banker turned poker reg, Sharma, chasing his second Godfather crown, claimed a solid runner-up position worth ₹3.32 Lakhs and even chipped in a 98th place finish in PokerBaazi’s WTF for ₹5,902, bringing his total earnings for the day to a respectable ₹3.38 Lakhs.

 

Another top pro and coach, Mithun ‘Intuitionn’ Mahesh (opted out of our tracking), too enjoyed a fruitful Thursday, amassing at least ₹1.38 Lakhs through three known deep runs, including a Godfather sixth place for ₹95,897.
