Daily Majors: Young Gun Arsh Grover Wins 2 Friday Flagships For Over ₹10 Lakhs in Total Winnings

The weekend got off to a firecracker start with the daily flagships driving up the action.

The #2 ranked player of the year, Young Gun Arsh Grover, all but obliterated the Friday flagships, closing in considerably to Anuj Yadav at the top of the annual charts! The 26-year-old MTT phenom won two headline tournaments, Spartan Poker’s The Elite for 4.92 Lakhs and Adda52’s The Ballers for 4.42 Lakhs. He made another deep run in PokerBaazi`s IMPS#104 HIGHROLLER, banking a whopping 10.01 Lakhs altogether! Grover`s trailblazing Friday run pushed him past 11 Crores in online winnings, making him the fourth player on our tracked database to touch the tall milestone!

Both of Arsh Grover`s title victories yesterday came after FT deals. Long-time pros Rajat Sharma (2nd for 4.90 Lakhs) and Kunal Patni (3rd for 4.49 Lakhs) banked almost comparable prizes in The Elite, courtesy of a three-way deal.

This past week has been terrific for PokerGuru Staking, with at least one player from the stable winning a marquee tournament daily. And keeping the trend running for the sixth consecutive day was PokerGuru Ambassador Vivek Singh, who took down PokerBaazi’s The Weekly HighRoller for 4.09 Lakhs. Harsh Dembla finished runner-up for 2.87 Lakhs and finished one place better in PokerStars India’s Uppercut Mini (1st for 44,066), rounding up over 3.30 Lakhs in Friday winnings.
