Daily Majors: Pavankiran Bellamkonda, Arsh Grover, Nishant Kumar & Jyoti Ranjan Nayak Hit the Mid-Week Jackpot

The virtual felts were brimming with action on Wednesday, with the Final Table Series and National Poker Series once again churning out several breakout winners!

In the mad rush to win FTS medallions and NPS medals, the one player that stood out yesterday was Pavankiran Bellamkonda. Last year`s IOPC – Sunday Prime winner, Bellamkonda, topped the Wednesday charts after overcoming a guarantee-crushing field full of regs in FTS #24 – Big Game on Spartan Poker for career-best 12.29 Lakhs. He chopped the title heads-up with Tuesday’s NPS#16 Sprint winner, Young Gun Arsh Grover (2nd for 10.82 Lakhs).

Nishant Kumar was another relatively new name on top of the Wednesday charts. The satellite qualifier scored an insane ROI on his investment as he shipped PokerBaazi’s NPS#19 Double Jump for a personal-best 8.70 Lakhs. The Game Changer 4.0 champion, JaiKiran Kumar, finished runner-up for 6.10 Lakhs.

Last week`s Trending Thursday champion Jyoti Ranjan Nayak notched up another standout score by taking down Spartan Poker`s FTS #25 for 5.52 Lakhs and his first FTS silver medallion. Arunkumar Singh secured a runner-up payday worth 3.44 Lakhs.

Ayush Arora struck gold in PokerBaazi’s NPS #22 SPRINT (5-Max), winning the event for 3.52 Lakhs and his first NPS gold medal. Saransh Garg came second for 2.47 Lakhs.

The 2020 India Poker Champion Rubin Labroo came out on top in Adda52’s Maverick to win 3.07 Lakhs. He struck a three-way deal with Vinay B (2nd for 2.29 Lakhs) and PokerGuru Ambassador Ratul Steves (3rd for 2.13 Lakhs).

Arun Sriram is officially on a heater of a lifetime. Just two days after taking down FTS #14, the entrepreneur-cum-poker reg bagged his career-first NPS gold medal in PokerBaazi’s NPS#18 PKO Bout, pocketing 2.93 Lakhs. Avijit Jaiswal came second for 1.74 Lakhs, cementing his place at the top of the NPS Podium Leaderboard.

Tuesday`s NPS #15 Deepdive champion Ankit Bajaj went back-to-back as he won the NPS Freezeout for 1.88 Lakhs, picking up his second NPS gold medal on consecutive days. He chopped the title with Sumanth Kumar (2nd for 1.83 Lakhs).

Ravindra Arora (Won 7.50 Lakhs GTD FTS #23 for 1.41 Lakhs via a heads-up deal) and ‘hulk0111’ (Won 6.50 Lakhs GTD FTS #22 for 1.15 Lakhs via a heads-up deal) won the other FTS medallions yesterday.

Jimmy Arora (Won 5 Lakhs GTD NPS#21 for 1.39 Lakhs via a heads-up deal) and Arijit Chatterjee (Won 5 Lakhs GTD NPS#17 Hyper Sprint (5-Max) for 1.31 Lakhs) round out the list of NPS title winners.

Debneil Mukherjee, Harsh Dembla, Narendra Valuurupalli, Mohak Kapoor, Siddharth Kumar, Tapan Mansotra, Nitesh Mallanar, and Md Nazim won the other Wednesday marquees.

The day`s biggest story came out from the 2 Crores GTD IOPC #69 Legends, where grabbing the headlines was none other than the recent IOPC High Roller champion Young Gun Sahil Chutani. The cash game reg won the flagship title for a career-best 44.05 Lakhs following a heads-up deal with Raghav Bansal (2nd for 43.12 Lakhs). Vinay B pocketed 20.76 Lakhs in third place.

The site’s Thursday flagship, the ₹16 Lakhs GTD Trending Thursday, registered 553 entries, rounding up a bumper prize pool worth ₹19.35 Lakhs, over 20% more than its advertised guarantee. Day 4 of UVS April edition was all about deep stack tourneys. There were six UVS events on the Thursday schedule, and the day`s featured tourney, the ₹4.65 Lakhs GTD UVS #24 Monster Stack, was championed by Priyank ‘Satoshi_Nakamoto’ Kothari for ₹60,913. This happens to be Kothari’s second time winning a UVS title, bringing him within touching distance to the ₹3 Crore mark in lifetime earnings (₹2.99 Crores). Kothari struck a four-deal on the FT with ‘Pokerispain’ (runner-up for ₹58,685), Vinay ‘BeepBeepImaJeep’ Rajpal (3rd for ₹55,934), and ‘VM.Varga’ (4th for ₹52,683).

The Millionaire D’Lite winner Ankit ‘starnaruto’ Saurabh was another player who bagged a UVS title on Thursday. The ₹7,700 entry buy-in tourney logged in 155 entrants, collecting a guarantee-crushing ₹10.85 Lakhs prize pool. Coming out on top was none other than the three-time Sunday Special – Progressive KO champion Pranay ‘aankhdikhatahai’ Chawla, who made an even chop with his heads-up opponent Devang ‘Infic11’ Mehta, with both players banking ₹2.02 Lakhs each.
