PokerGuru Tour and Mentorship Program

The response for the Pokerguru Mentorship program was absolutely amazing. We had over 60 applicants and it was really tough picking the final 21. I have already emailed the chosen 21 who will be getting trained by the team till end of July. There are still a couple to get back to me so I will just post the list here real quick (incase u hvnt joined skype chat group msg/email me).
Nitesh Gupta, Rajnish, Simon, Ashutosh, Olli, Mukesh Jetwani, Laveena, Danish, Prabhat Mukherjee, Sumit Sapra, Nehal, Sachin Sinha, Jagdeep Singh, Arjun Parmar, Prateek Verma, Shashank Santosh, Vinay Suchede, Siddarth Singhvi, Ankur Gupta, Phaninder and Shawn Chatterton.
It was really tough choosing these 21 with so many impressive and motivated individuals applying, we will definitely do this program again in the future and I would encourage all those who didn’t get picked this time to apply again, there were a lot of you I really wanted to take in the group but we had to limit the number, in the meantime I would suggest working on your game as much as you can so you in better position to take advantage of such future programs, it was important to me that all students are financially independent to play on their own and not be financially dependent on us for staking. During the next 3 months I want to identify the most talented, committed and loyal students, who could then be offered a place on the pro team with a staking deal. All 21 students will be blogging and actively posting in forums (hands focusing on what we have covered), so I would encourage everyone to join these discussions and become active on PokerGuru forums and follow their progress over the next 3 months. I am expecting huge things in live arena from some young guns I am training, in the upcoming month.

This is a busy month beginning with PGT and ending with APT. Last PGT wasn’t so good for the PokerGuru pros with very few deep runs and 0 cashes, but that’s how it goes in mtts, with the amount of live poker ahead in May, I am expecting the team to take down atleast cpl of the bigger events. The team will be blogging while in Goa for the next 3 weeks so you can read blogs or live updates from events we cover to stay updated. We are still finalizing our WSOP plans, if it happens I will post all the details here.
