I have been thinking recently on how to get the most of being selected for the PokerGuru Mentorship program. I am already playing quite a lot live tournaments now and interacting with Adi and others is already helping me a lot. Also helping is posting on the hand advice forum on the PG website.
I have made some money from playing on PokerStars but cashed out a lot of it away. Right now I am having 400 dollars in my account. As I have already mentioned in my earlier blogs, I like playing the 6-max cash and that is the format I am most comfortable in.
So I have devised a plan for the next 3 months on how to learn and put in MTT’s volume as well. The plan is pretty simple actually. 2000 hands a day of micro level 6-max from Monday to Friday and whatever profits I make from the 5 days of 6-max will be plonked into micro donkaments on Saturday and Sunday. My playing time on Saturday’s would be from 9 pm onwards to whatever times the tournaments last. Sunday it will be from 3 pm to around midnight-ish.
Any recommendations on which tournaments (micro-buyins) to play during those times would be appreciated. I will be posting a sort of report card every Monday/Tuesday and also some interesting spots/hands on the PG forums. Will appreciate the feedbacks like always.
One of the reasons for posting this plan is so that I don’t deviate from it. Too many times we make resolutions and plans and don’t stick to it. Making them known puts a bit of pressure on oneself. Hoping this helps and motivates.
